C'mon. Entertain me.

Anyway, to Orchis, who is probably wondering why I haven't posted: I'm sorry, I honestly plan to reply sooner or later. Of course, I laud you for your patience.

Anyway, back to the issue at hand: One of you bastards is gonna fight me. You know the rules. Come lock horns, fool.

The character I will use is none other than the strange Mr. Dalopon. His bio is here, the second one in this post: forums/257154-post190.html

This will be my first time using him. It should be fun. The battlefield is:
Battlefield Four: The Pike Yard
This land of sharpened metal sticks sticking straight up is home of many impaled victims, and they usually are still kicking under the pale moon during a warrior or two’s fights here. There are screams heard everywhere, and the king sits around during the day, watching his victims die and then roast under the hot sun as crows pick at their sometimes still living bodies.

Lastly, you have first post. That should suffice. Come.

Alright. As I said, you may introduce yourself first, but I will gladly take that honor if you wish for me to go first.

OoC: Heh. I dunno why, but this guy's personality is fun to play around with.

“So, the chemical makeup of these pikes is actually in short quite similar to my mace, which I believed to be impossible! So, in a way, my mace seems to have been made of the same Felernes metal, with a slightly different combination of earth-element ore, as these pikes. They cut clean, too, so each one seems to have been crafted meticulously into a work of art! Genius! GENIUS! The smith deserves applaud! Drinks all around! Marvelous…”

Dalopan. A genius black-smith who always kept to himself. He built his giant mace from specially made steels that he himself inspected with obsession and wildness in his eyes, and this was no mere mace. Strapped to his back by a careful system of padding, the enormous wrecking-ball sat upon it’s four-foot handle and twenty feet of triple-chain, wrapped around time and time again. It was a work of art to Dalopan. A work of genius, in his eyes. He slicked back his spiked hair, adjusting his bifocals, then he brushed a fresh coat of dust from his armor (he had been there a while) and sat upon the dirt. Above him was a still-living human that had been ‘executed’ earlier.

“Maybe I should have noticed that earlier?”

No point in crying over spilled milk, they say. Or spilled blood, but really, Dalopan was the hero type…

“Hmm, well… HEY! DO YOU NEED ASSISTANCE?” His response was a gurgle and the man’s last drops of blood hurtling into his face. That would certainly not attract positive attention…

Dalopan was not a man of luck. He was clumsy outside of a workshop, eccentric, obsessed. By some stroke of his bad luck, he had come across the execution yard of the fat-king Solous, who was always willing to kill a man for the slightest of insults. Such was obviously the case for this recently defunct man that poor Dalopan had just tried to help: he had merely commented on an out-of-place button on the king’s coat, and was hence removed from the living. He had been the royal chef.

It was the twelfth chef that week to die.

Dalopan went back to studying the intricate spikes, not realizing the ironic resemblance to his hair-style. However, his analysis wouldn’t persist for much longer; another person had stepped into the area, and judging from the vibrations in the earth-crust, they stepped lightly.

“Oh joy. They’re hostile footsteps... I hope it isn’t the king’s guard, because if it is… Best not think about it. I ate recently…” He removed the enormous morning-star from his back, unfurling and slamming into the ground with a hideous, cringe-inducing, vibrating THUD.

“So much for staying hidden.”

OOC: My character is simple..i don't really enjoy writing a long entrance...

She spotted him, smiled, nodded, and laughed. "Hiding?" Her voice was sweet and had an accent to it which he couldn't identify. She had her hair picked up and carried only a violin case with her. "I'm looking for a simple battle." Isobella wasn't much for conversations but this man caught her attention, especially with the foolish clumsiness. She hadn't experienced that since she was human! Isobella was also not one to help others unless she knew them quite well, but she stretched out her arm and opened her hand so that he may stand up.

^Now I'm certain I recognize you. It feels like I'm back to the day I joined... If you're who I think you are, you were the first person I battled. Otherwise, you simply remind me of an old friend...

Alright, I'll whip up a counter...

-------------------

"Oh, *ahem*, thank you! A battle, you say? I thought so..."

Dalopan couldn't help but eye the violin case. What was its purpose? A weapon? Either way, it was misleading. Dalopan wasn't much for misleading weapons. He decided instantly that, considering his rusted-over skills, he needed the practice. The problem was, he feared that this woman would turn it into a life-struggle instead of mere sparring match. Dalopan cringed... But, his mace hadn't yet been used in battle...

"Alright. You'll have your fight."

Dalopan began spinning the enormous mass of spike and chain over his head, carefully missing the nearby pikes. He could still hear moans of suffering emanating from poor souls still lingering, but he almost felt as if he had no time for that.

What he had time for was to witness this woman's skill.

"Well?" Dalopan said.

OOC: ...alright....yes...I was...Yaminah Leth Amunet. Been long...the reason I was telling you that I wasn't her is because I really didn't want to go back to the past. I wanted I guess, I fresh new start without wanting anyone to know who I used to be. Been long Galefore...how are you? I haven't thought of bringing Yaminah back until you said it lol...i dunno if I should...I don't know what people really thought of her.

Ah! I knew it! Sorry to have dredged up past feelings... I remember the 'incident' in that first battle of mine. Back then, I was an amateur. Now look at where I am! I'm in a position I thought I'd never get! I believe we battled twice, and you were in my old RP topic as well. I'm glad to see you back!

I actually was rather fond of ol' Yaminah. I believe I could give her a good match now, since my characters are a tad more brutal these days. It has been a long time... In fact, it's been two years since that "God-Moding" battle. I was a whiny little kid back then. Now our rematch can be in good fun from a couple of experienced folks.

Welcome back, Yaminah, and here's hoping that this is a great battle!

OOC: lol...did I win in the battles with you? I can't truly remember. I might bring Yaminah back. Not now though. You're battling Isobella Klass. Unless you want to start over?

^Actually, we tied the first time, and I won the second time by a judge's decision. I recently re-read my old stuff. I REALLY sucked back then. Anyway, I'm fine with this character. We don't have to start over, since I kinda liked my intro. Not my best work... (For my best work, read the NLBFT Championship Round topic)... But, It's a good start to using a character I've never used before.
