Alright, newcomers... Face me.
I hereby issue a challenge to the many newcomers in the last few months. If you are relatively new here or brand-new, this is your topic. I also need an experienced member to help.
This is not a free-for-all. This is essentially a team battle: Myself and an experienced battler will fight four newcomers (or more). I would like this experienced battler to have a year under his belt so he can handle a two-to-one chance.
The teams are:
The experienced team:
Galefore (I'm going to use Delryan for this battle.)
Wyborn
Newcomer Team:
T3hDarkness
Zaraku
Bartman
Tes (Lilac)
Alright, the rules are simple. There are no post-length guidelines but I would prefer moderately long ones. Not uber-3-page-epics, just a couple of paragraphs or more. Also, please do not be cheap or disrespectful.
Oh, and don't complain if I injure your character within a survivable limit. It isn't being cheap, its being brutal. There is a difference.
For basic combat guidelines, please read the rules topic, which is stickied and in plain view. After you've skimmed it, prepare to die.
Note: This is not meant to be a newb-killer topic. I simply mean to show some fresh-faces the ropes with a bit of hard combat experience. I will not post long attacks, so do not be wary. My team-mate should also be willing to act as a teacher and not over-do it.
Alright, LET'S GO.

-Bob DylanOh what did you see, my blue-eyed son?
And what did you see, my darling young one?
I saw a newborn baby with wild wolves all around it
I saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on it
I saw a black branch with blood that kept dripping
I saw a room full of men with their hammers a-bleeding
I saw a white ladder all covered with water
I saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all broken
I saw gun-shot swords in the hands of young children
And it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard
It's a hard rain a-gonna fall
I'll be your partner, Galefore.
Ours will be the roar of a wave that will drown the world.

We can post first, but first I need each of my team members to report in to me with a PM. Include need the link to each of the Character's Book of Warriors page and if you wish, your MSN or AIM handles.
I'll write an intro that includes each of us and a huge crazy battlefield.
The labs aren't open this weekend or on Monday so I have plenty of free time.
We may be new, but that is no reason not to be organized.
So far Zaraku has checked in with me. Still waiting on Tes-the-Catgirl, Bartman, and possibly Corsair.
V If you are not with us then you will be viewed as against us. Its not like I can go read some of your old posts to get an idea of your style and characters.

Sitting in this room playing Russian roulette,
Finger on the trigger to my dear Juliet,
Out from the window see her back drop silhouette,
This blood on my hands is something I cannot forget,

@TD: Lay off. There is no need to organize this battle like this. That isn't how the Gunjin works. Though order is permitted, you need not act like a drill-sergeant. Learn about your allies as you go. I've never fought along-side Wyborn before, but I'm perfectly willing to learn from his character as I move along the battle. I want this to be about combat experience, not hard-military-drills. I will teach them firsthand how we battle here.
Anyway, you guys don't have to PM TD. Just start the battle already, or else I will.

As Galefore said, this isn't an ass-whooping topic, but once you actually get to our fight I'm going to serve you an extra slice of the whoopin' cake for fun.
Post your entrance if you want to establish the field, man, I grow impatient.

Ooc: We never did set up rules did we, or are we to believe there are no rules. I know for sure regeneration stays in because that is Zaraku's primary power.
Bone Forest
Deep in the woods, there's a strange place that people say is haunted. For damn good reason they do. For a half mile in every direction from the center, the grassy, soft loam of the forests and plains of the region gives way to nothing but the driest sand. What's more, the trees instantly turn from sturdy wood to hollow bone. But they still look quite like trees, with one central white spike jutting out of the ground, and branches spitting off of that, and more off those, at very natural angles. There are no leaves, of course. The only landmark to speak of is in the very center of the area, where the top half of a human skeleton hangs limp from the 'trunk' of one of these morbid trees. It is not impaled upon the tree. It is a part of it.
Two fighters launched into the dead forest one of them a slight man dressed in a black suit and wearing a brass mask and the other a muscular demonoid clad in a trench coat. The agreed upon time is near and if the dossier was correct, they would need time to set up. Chase knelt down and buried his gauntleted hands in the sand. Wires slithered down from his sleeve throughout the fifty meters surrounding the area. He chanted and the sand lit up faintly where the trap seal array had been placed.
The demon broke the silence, "Someone's coming."
Chase pulled his hands out of the sand and asked "Friend or Foe?"
"Use your eye, you can see it." Zaraku held out his arm and clenched his fist until blood started to paint the pale sand.
"I can not make it out properly, it does not have a strong astral presence."
The blood transmuter held three short swords between his fingers, his muscled tensed and prepared to throw the black blades.
