A BATTLE FOR IRING!

#1

Post by deathscythe » Tue Jan 30, 2007 10:57 pm

I wish to battle... because none of my other battles are being replied to... :( but anyway.... You choose everything you wish to battlefield, except rules and my character anyway. The rules are the standard Battlefield rules which include no healing, and no transforming. Please, be some what experienced, or at least a good battler. My character shall be my newest. last post, last page of the BoW. Ok...

I do not agree to your rules, if a profile states a particular form of healing in the powers then they should have access to it also cutting out shapechangers loses old pros like JediKnight. If your problem is being cheap with healing then you have no need to fear it in an experienced player.

I will use a new character and our battlefield is the muddy countryside. That is if you accept my conditions.

I'll agree with it, I just don't want to see a character get really hurt, the fight almost being over, and he regenerates completely. ok?

OoC: Me and Teh Darkness planned this out on msn, because a clash of our two characters could become quite confusing if we didn't.

The door flew open of an old inn way out beyond the walls of a castle, and even further into the woods. The door bounced off the wall, going back and making a loud BOOM that could be heard all out through the building, and maybe even deep into the woods, that was just outside the door. Iring walked into the room, and looked at the one person who was in the room, and looked at a door way, that another person was standing in. The person knew he had no business with this thief, so he ran into his room, and slammed the door shut. The one person in the room was in fact the owner of the Inn, and the man shouted for help as Iring drew his sword from his back. And pointed it at the owner. Iring could see that the man had froze up from being scared as he simply stood still. Iring lowered his sword to the mans waist, and there hung a small pouch, and he cut the rope that was holding the pouch and it fell to the floor. Out rolled just two pieces of gold, and Iring became angry, and spoke "This is all you got!" as he reached down and grabbed the two pieces.

"NO! I have something better!" shouted the scared Inn owner as Iring raised his sword to his throat. Iring stopped the sword from cutting his throat and he gestured him to talk. "I have info, on a bounty, one of the biggest bounty's ever issued, if you truly want gold, you need to go after this bounty" said a shaking quivery voice. "more" said the thief from outside. And the Inn owner went on. "Out there in those Forest rest one of the strongest fighters to ever grace this Earth, and he has a Very expensive head". Iring looked at him, and noticed he was not lieing. "how much" said Iring, and the shop owner replied "I do not know, I only know how much I here from the guards." Those were the last words spoken by the owner, as a sword slid through his neck. There was no blood around the floor or anything, as the wound froze, and the neck area turned blue. The body hit the floor hard.

Iring kicked the door open again, and walked out. He had no idea what was ahead of him as he walked along the path, just waiting to be ambushed by some one or something, he knew that he wanted the bounty enough. The sun shined bright on the outside, and Irings eyes had to adjust as the light hit his eyes. He looked around and saw a path into the woods, that looked more dangerous than usual, and he knew this is the way to take. He jumped to a run, and ran into the woods, where he ran for just a few minutes until coming to a path, one lit by sunlight. The bricks were laid greatly, and it just seemed like a good spot, for something big to happen. He walked down the path with curiosity. Not knowing what was ahead. He had never seen this place before.

Five good minutes passed until Iring heard a sound up ahead. He jumped into a jog, and ran ahead. He found himself seeing a fight. Two guards armed in full armor, and a person who seemed to be fighting the guards. The fighter fought with grace and passion that Iring had never seen before. And Iring could tell this is who he had needed. He sat down to watch the fight, only to find his self rolling over to dodge an attack, that had missed the guards, he rolled over off the path, and leaned back against a tree to watch. Iring watched for another few good minutes, as the guards were soon to be put to there deaths.

The fighter Iring just sat and watched, and the person that he was soon to know as Kyle stood up just glared. For a moment the fighting had stopped. And Iring wondered why. A smirk came across the face of of the fighter. Kyle looked up, and grabbed his arm, he than looked at his arm as if he was trying to pull something out of it. Than with a flash of light, he disappeared, and nothing could be seen, but than suddenly the light could be seen, flashing through the guards, and blood went flying. The first guard to the right, blood sprayed out of his neck, onto the ground, and the guard on the right, blood sprayed from his stomach, and all that could be seen from this damage, was ameer flash of light.

All of a sudden the fighter Kyle Franz reappeared, and behind him, to of the guards fell to the ground, blood spewing from there now cold, and dead body's. Iring stood up, and looked at Kyle, kyle did not look back. And there was awkward pause. Iring realised this would be harder than he had first though, and he drew his sword from his back. Kyle turned around, and looked at Iring. And he had nothing to say. "Be prepared to fight you" said Iring. nothing happened for another few moments, but this pause was ended by a few sound. Kyle burst into laughter, he couldn't help it. Nothing was said from there.

Kyle's arm was smoking slightly and the light grey tunic he wore was torn all the way up to his shoulder and across his back. One of the guards had managed to touch him but his armor had absorbed most of the impact with nary a scratch to the silver breastplate.

The youth giggled again, slightly, unable to restrain his mirth. Two armored soldiers in sixteen seconds was his new record.

What fool would want to challenge the "Psycho Serpent", especially after watching what had just happened to the last challengers. Regardless, he would taste the full power of his snakebite.

His grin turned slightly more serious as his challenger set to a defensive stance. Sparks ran along Kyle's arm and started to shine brightly, nearly at the full charge his arm made a quick bzzt sound and his charge dissipated harmlessly?

"What happened, why is this boy not dead?" he thought to himself, could it be I've wasted too much on these lackeys, no matter, a the swords should do the trick regardless. The beads on the inside of his wrists started to glow and crackle while he charged wildly towards Iring. By the time he reached the youth, he had manifested two short swords that appeared to be made of pure electricity.

Each sloppy attack he made was easily and masterfully countered by the darker youth. His sloppy appearance and ill fitting clothes hid an expert swordsman, attack after attack got reflected or turned but even so, the number of blows left little room to set up a counter attack, leaving both of the boys stalemate.

Kyle backed off, gathering a little space to plan his next attack. A plan formulated and was quickly initiated before the next thought could reach his mind. He agilely leaped towards a tree and buries his element blade deep into the bark for support. He other hand severed a a thick overhanging branch to try to flatten or at least distract the sword fighter.

To the fighter Iring, the trunk seemed to be as if it was falling from the sky, but soon, he realised what it was, it was to bright in the sky to tell exactly where it would fall, because his eyes were too quickly blinded by the light. He simply decided to roll away, hoping not to be hit. He rolled a few feet, and the large branch landed not but an inch behind him. He than looked back up, and saw his opponent Kyle planing something, and he knew that there was something up. He lunched towards the thick tree, and slid his blade into it. Although the blade only made it half way through the tree, the rest of the base froze up, and turned into a blue piece of ice, easily breakable by Iring. He kicked the ice so that it shattered, and the tree fell and Kyle was left defenseless, and confuse.

The opponent Kyle lunged from one tree to another, he was indeed not a monkey, or any type of animal, so this was hard for even him to pull off. Iring watched as the what appeared to be some type of energy sword stick into a tree, and Kyle hung for dear life, and he started to sway his body back and forth so that he could reach the tree's main trunk, and slide down to the ground, but it was too late, Iring was waiting at the trunk of this tree, simply waiting for Kyle. Kyle decided to trick him. Kyle hid behind the tree making himself not visible for Iring, and threw a branch across into the other tree, and Iring jumped towards the tree this time, sliding the blade all the way through it, but, it was the wrong tree, as he turned around he saw Kyle standing, ready, and had his moves planed out.

Lunging forward Iring swung the blade at Kyle, but kyle was not that easy to beat, as shown before. Kyle deflected the blow, and moved to the side, letting Iring to trip past, and Iring stumbled to his knees in the dirt. Kyle turned around, looking for Iring, but all he could see was dirt that Iring had thrown up to distract Kyle. "Why you" thought Kyle, and Iring started to laugh. He now was the one who couldn't help it. "I see now that you have to gain some energy to do anything special" Said Iring "those guards wore you down, how do you expect to beat me?" went on Iring who normally did not talk much. Kyle could hold his composer any longer, he grew angry, and went on the offensive. Once again though, He was just throwing out attack after attack.

Deflecting blow after blow, after blow, Iring found him self short winded, and he found himself gasping for breath. His sword was doing nothing to the opponents sword, and that was because it was made of what appeared to be some type of energy. But Iring found his opportunity. Kyle swung the sword at Iring head, and all he had to do was go low to dodge it. Iring, grabbed his opponents leg, with his free hand, and tossed his leg out from underneath him, tripping him up. And he ran into the Forrest, not far, but just far enough for him to hid long enough to catch his breath.

Kyle hit the ground hard, and he stumbled up as fast as he could. He realised that Iring had run to catch his breath, as the fast pase fighting had got the best of him. Iring was used to making quick kills, becouse he was just a mere thief. But now he was fighting one of the hardest fights of his life. Iring breath quickly came back, as it only took a matter of seconds, and he slid down into a bush. Kyle saw him lean down, so he charged at him, using the sword, to swing through the branches that got in his way. He found his self face to face with Iring.

Holding his sword up so that The sword of what again to appeared to be energy, the swords met and the held them there for at least half a minute as the two tried to drive each others swords into the skull of the other. But neither of them gave. Kyles sword started to crackle, and Iring could now tell that this was not a mere energy sword, but one of electricity. "agh... I see now" said Iring. As he realised that all of his attacks were based on either components or energy. Iring smirked, and at the end of the 30 seconds and slid to the ground so that Kyles sword would miss and hit the ground. This did happen.

(Ooc: I think I'm starting to like this character more and more, Chibimod3, if you ever read this, your concept was great.)

The pupils of Kyle's eyes turned white as his only unblocked attack did nothing more than throw up a cloud of dust. This well get us nowhere he observed. He calmed down for a moment, time for a change of strategy. The berserker mad a few halfhearted attacks to create some room between the two fighters.

"Hey, you're pretty good." he complemented "But I have something I need to show you. He dissipated his swords and held his hands up palm open. "Watch closely" his fingertips crackled and he shouted "FLASH".

Everything went white for a moment and when he opened his stinging eyes shadowy visions of Kyle Franz were swirling all around him. Iring could have sworn the electricity user was in front of him when he swung his icy blade, but the sword passed clean through. Suddenly Iring's ribs felt like they exploded.

Kyle was standing about twenty feet behind him with blood on his fingertips. He turned around and grinned, "Snakebite."

Blood stuck, and in pain, Iring looked down at his wound, his mouth dropped open, and saw the blood leaking from his ribs. There was now a hole in his shirt, and blood leaked from it, and his shirt soon become blood sulked even more than it had been done before. He than looked back up, at the other fighter, Alex, and now saw why he had been thought of as one of the stronger fighters in the world. Iring's face went pale, as he had not been used to bleeding this much, but he had not other choice but to fight back. He grabbed his ribs with his hand that was not holding the icy blade, and ran forward, because he knew he had to go onto the offensive before something like that could happen again. He was now fighting with a new rage.

Speeding fast ahead, Iring threw himself at Kyle, who quickly conjured another electric sword to block with, Iring had momentum to go with. Kyle wasn't expecting to be hit hard, but he was surprised to find out that he was about to be knocked back, as Iring hit the electric blade, he flew back a few feet. Iring swung again, this again being blocked, but kyle was pushed back a little more where he stopped because be bounced of a tree, this saved his life, as Iring swung the sword right at him, but the bounce moved Kyles body just enough so he could remain as once piece, but Irings blade did hit some. The blade got an inch into Kyles side, and Kyle jumped away, as the wound froze the pain doubled, and he soon couldn't feel the wound, which is never good, having you body, thrown off balance by ice.

Iring jumped back, and clenched his ribs, as the pain had doubled because of the strong effort he just gave. He leaned back against the tree, to try to take some of the pressure off the wound, but it didn't work. Kyle was feeling the pain as well, as he tried to scrape off some of the ice, but it did not work, And Iring looked up at Kyle. The stood there for over a minute waiting for the other to make a move. Iring was now using both hands to grip his sword, and he could really feel his ribs beating beating, and just annoying him. The silence was ended for the words came from Irngs mouth "You know you did me a favor, I dont have to use my dagger now" and than he quickly chanted something that could have been anything, because no one could here exactly what the words are. Kyle didn't want to wait to find out what he was doing so he ran at him, his mistake.

The opponent Kyle got a few feet from Iring, and he blood sprayed from Irings ribs, most of the attack missed, but a lot of it hit Kyles arm. Kyle whispered "what the" to him self, and he felt a strong pain. The blood on his arm, started to burn like fire, and he yelped, and he tried to wipe the blood off him. His running start was screwed up by this. Kyle tripped over a branch and fell to the ground. Iring fell to his knees as well, because the spell had taken out quite a bit of blood, and he couldn't take the pain for a few seconds, his vision blurred back and forth. And Iring almost fainted, but he quickly came back to his sinces, he had been weakened by the blood loss, be he could still fight none the less.

Kyle jumped back to his feet, and grabbed his arm. The pain was very excruciating, and he clenched his teeth together. Iring too returned to his feet, and he was ready to fight once more. Iring who was losing alto of blood, could tell already that this fight had just begun. Iring knew that he could not afford to use that spell again. So he decided he would have to use his other spell. Iring stumbled forward, and leaned into his attack, he than claped his hands together, and a bolt flew from his hand at Kyle. Kyle jumped to the side, to dodge this, and than again, to hid behind a tree so that he could not be hit.

The bolt bounced off a tree instead of being grounded as it should have been, truly on a random chances electricity had never failed to be drawn to Kyle, from the passing storms to the static charge on a the tavern patrons. Thinking he gained a new skill, Iring launched another tracing bolt at randomly.

The younger boy regretted not escaping when he had the chance, there isn't a man alive that could hope to outrun him when he uses blue demon, but after taking down two guards and using his snakebite, he was running dangerously low on power. He needed a recharge or he wouldn't stand a chance of surviving and those tiny bolts wouldn't be near enough power for his attacks. "Thanks for the juice" Kyle shouted as he started another wild charge, "but I'm going to have to give it back now." Sparks flew as he gathered energy to his palm. He shouted, “PULSE WAVE” and slapped the flat of the older boy’s sword as Iring attempted to block the same as he had .

The force of the attack combined with the shock of 50,000 volts caused Irings sword to go flying through the air and embed deeply into a (swiftly freezing) tree. His professional reaction was what surprised Kyle. Even while his ice blade was still in the air, he reached into his oversized sleeve and pulled a throwing dagger. If it had not been for the disturbance caused by the shock, Iring’s aim would have been true and that knife would have pierced Kyle’s serpent clutched heart. Instead it punctures the younger boy’s already damaged shoulder, its tasseled handle sticking out like a macabre decoration.

Lacking options, Kyle jump tackled Iring. Sitting on the older boy's chest. Held up his arm to invite the Blue Lightening.

The older one was shocked by this decision, but he still handled it well. He kicked his feet up, so that it caused Kyle to lose his balance. Kyle did, and he fell over, and landed on the dagger still clutched into his shoulder, and pushed forward deeper into his shoulder. The younger one, Kyle, was now feeling the pain striking all the way down his arm. And he grabbed it, and clutched it. Iring, jumped to the air, and ran to grab his sword. When he bent over he heard to grab it, he heard him yell Something "lightning" as lightning was the only word he could make out. But a large ball of lighting was soon after sent at him.

Scooping up his blade, and rolling around to dodge the attack. Iring jumped from behind tree to tree, making his way towards Kyle. He knew that he couldn't afford to take another hit like a lightning bolt, or anything like that. But Kyle wouldn't miss for long, as he a little after, hit Iring in the arm with his blue lighting. Irings arm burned, and went numb, he couldn't use it, the only arm he could use was being occupied by his sword. He fell to cover behind an old big tree, that had apparently been down for a few weeks, maybe longer as it had begun to rot.

The blade slid back into its hosture that hung around the back of Iring, and he pulled a small dagger out of his pocket, with his one good hand, that could currently, feel. His other hand though was starting to tingle, and burn. As he was starting to regain the feeling in his arm, a burning feeling though, this was in fact a good thing. He took a deep breath, he had in fact been breathing hard through this all, after all, no one can escape lighting unscathed.

The younger one, took this time to do something as well. He ducked behind a tree, and took the time to pull the dagger out. Blood sprayed from the wound, and Kyle kind of yelped, giving away his position, Iring seized his opportunity. He jumped up, and ran, one step in front of the other, each movement, planned. He soon crossed the battleground, in which they were fighting, and he knew he was behind a tree that he could see just up ahead, he had planned this, with the fire enchanted dagger in one hand, and the other numb, he jumped into the air, his other arm was just hanging, in the air. He jumped past the tree in which Kyle was taking cover behind and bounced off the tree purposely, turned around and saw kyle, who had apparently formed another electricity sword.

The dagger hit the electricity sword, that was kind of small, and caused a large crackle that could be heard for maybe a mile up ahead. The fire and the electricity fought for each movement. Kyle was back up to the tree by a meer dagger, and he felt embarrassed and angry by this. As his anger grew, as did his power. He fought with all of his strength just for his life. And he pushed the sword forward, with all he had. The dagger snapped, and came along with it a huge explosion. The dagger had been enchanted in a very dangerous way, so the only way to enchant it, you had to break it, causing an explosion.

The older one Iring flew about five feet back. He hit the ground hard. The younger one, Kyle flew through the tree, snapping it in half, and went about only a foot back. Iring looked at his dagger, which was now worthless and broken. "you will pay for that dagger!" yelled Iring, who cared deeply for all of his weapons, as they each meant a hard earned victory. "SOON! i will have your head, and bounty money!" he continued to shout. Up ahead, a few guards could here the explosion, but decided to do nothing. Up ahead, a few children were playing, and ran away scared of the explosion. The fight had become one of the ages.

Kyle felt the serpent's will in the back of his mind, encouraging him to release its power. The hissing in his mind was nearly unbearable as the serpent tried to coax him. He started letting his control slip and giving the monster within more prevalence.

The edge of his vision started to blur and his bare hand slashed through a tree to try to grab the bounty hunter but Iring, used to straight froward attacks had anticipated this and expertly dodged. He yelled, "Snakebite" and launched another attack. His move launched him to the edge of the forest, where a small child was staring up at him with teary frightened eyes.

"My will is my own!" Kyle screamed, and the serpent's grip on his mind broke, leaving the boy with an intense feeling of clarity. In this while, Iring had caught up and was preparing to behead the berserker in his moment of weakness.

Kyle sidestepped the blade and braced for Iring's impact. He reached his forefingers to Iring's jaw and whispered, "If you wish for your bounty, meet me at Thunder Mare Peak in a month's time," then he intoned one last word, "MERCY"

When Iring awoke, he was lying on a pile of straw and a with a large bag of coins lay next to him, likely the loot held by the original hunters.

His eye twiched. "Great I have to wait another month." said Iring. He looked around and saw that he was still in the woods, out side of what appeared to be a barn. But the barn was burned down so no one was around to find him lying there alone. He had gained respect for Kyle though, as Kyle didnt take the cheap way out, and just kill him while he was down and asleep. Now that he had actully though about it, he had not known. what had happend the last thing he could remember was being grabed in the throat. Iring picked up the pouch and walked forward where he found a path.

He walked down the path, not knowing what was ahead, but soon, he would encounter Kyle again, and he would find his way to take his life. Or so he hoped.

Iring tossed the bag over his shoulder, and quite a bit of gold rolled out of it. This was not about that anymore. He now knew that this was his destiny. And he needed to do so.

The sun set on the fight and the two would meet again surely.
