This is it for me, man. I've been doing this for almost 4 years now, battling and RPing, and it isn't as long as some people've been here (so I guess I missed out, neh? ), but it's certainly something to hang on the wall, eh? Now, I could of break out the champagne and give a speech about how battlin's helped my character creation and writing skills... but that bullcrap speaks for itself anyway, and I'd much rather go the same way I have been for the past 4 or so years.

Kicking ass.

Namely, the ass of the only vet I've never gotten a chance to properly throw down with ever =P

Now, I've been bitchin at ya for years to take me on ( ), so I understand precisely how little time you have these days (you got a family man!), but if you could, I'd be honored. Nothing fancy, just hardcore, post-to-post battling like we used to. I don't care if our posts are like three sentences each, man, just as long as we show these clowns how to kick ass like real warriors.

If you can't, of course, no hard feelings and I shake your hand you bad mutha you. Guess I'll spin my Price is Right wheel and see who Ive been yearning to fight besides you and Phenom. Still holding out though.

Short and sweet stuff, man. You can pick a BF if you want (or hand that over to me and just let me know you're acceptin), and I give you the choice of any character I've thought up over the years (excluding the ones I dropped).

Chars:
Arc Mario! - The first character I ever used on these boards - basically Mario with power gauntlets, man. Mario with power gauntlets.

Cybowser - Coming from the same twisted vision of the Mushroom Kingdom, Bowser if he were Megatron from hell. Massive guy. Always wanted to use him to slap Phenom around, never got the chance.

Erdawn - My totem chaarcter, man. Wyborn's Wyborn and Phenom's Phenom. He's changed a lot and ended up as a kind of Joshua Fireseed in his own right, a warrior king adept in a various aresenal of weaponry both mythical and technological. Expect hardcore, man-to-man brutality - I get physical with this guy and his weaponry makes him like a Nicaraguan contra from the year 20XX.

Sebastian Archard Navarre - Character inspired from the Melnibolnean Elric, an albino iscarian swordsman with wicked martial-arts abilities, a body warped by honing and training, and an ffilation with the chimes of death. He fought Virtue in the Red Lions tournament, in a battle that even I consider psychopathic brutality at its best.

Roan - a wanderer and the third student of Yuri. More like him than Erdawn in terms of ability, but more destructive - allows himself to be overthrown by his emotions and fights with all the power of rage. Sith-like, almost, but less evil. Another iteration of this guy WAS actually a Sith, so if you want to fight the Sith, you name it.

Yuri - Erdawn's tutor and former Longhunter - Tal'Set to Erdawn's Joshua, if you're a Turok fan. Much more physically impressive, less technological weaponry outside alien artifacts dug up fom prehistory and such. Summons deific powers, spiritual, and the occasional herbal drug, heh.

Ra-Son-Ja - The longhunter before Yuri and the only working female character I've ever thought up. An immortal, wielding three katanas (used more orthodoxily than Roronoa Zoro), chain-blades, and a kind of old-world brutality. Fights through the Way, which is an odd twist to chi.

Steppenwolf - Deific lineage - half-human and half the son of a cardinal Chinese tiger god, bred into a kind of feral werewolf. Very feral. Like wolverine if he was a were-wolverine, also calls upon totemic magicks. Brutality!

Jerusalem Emmerich - A ronin contra, heavilty trained special-operative and a kind of homage to Solid Snake. Uses stimules and drugs to increase his own abilites, fights with modern weaponry of all kinds, and is ruthless if noble. Has an alleged fetish for strangulation. Shinigami would know :]

Ice Hendrix - Scrawny, practically emancipated travelling guitarist with control over sound that makes him zero-to-hero (as Omega found out 'fore SL dropped that topic, eh he he), from hypnotic and spiritual to just outright devastating.

Naga Sull - the overlord of the Sull, a race of humanoids evolved from reptilian ancestry via an incident ivolving crashlanded alien technology. Uses recovered extra-terrestrial technology, but fights in a very visceral, carnivorous way, using hideously barbaric instruments and pole-arms that would rival Sunday's and the Campaigner's.

Kaja-Rang the Red - formerly Yuri's master, but a change in by plotlines turned him to Erdawn's father, another overlord but of an Aryan race of antlantean-like humanoids more advanced in technology and magick than most of the prehistorical humans. Very powerful, and barbaric despite the knowledge of his race.

Sunday - Another archvillain, a kind of bone-witch dabbling in the more horrifying of the ineffable dark arts. Physically imposing and hideous in his own right, various iterations from Skeletor to Spawn's old war-buddy Chapel, Expect some crazy-mean ****.

Richter - Kind of ballooned past normal BF fighting (which is why you ahven't been seeing him recently). Plays as archnemesis-loki God to any character I have on the alignment of good, and you'll remember him as a flamboyant lunatic.

Noel “Red”-October - A magician affilated with Sunday, wear's clean, aristocratic suits, believes entirely in showmanship, and is as vicious as he is vampiric. My attempt a making a BF character out of what most people would know as a stage-magician, making for some evil and bloody trickery.

Ives Iscariot Cromwell - A kind of Wendigo-man, usually wearing settler's clothing. THe more living flesh he cannibalises, the more powerful he gets. Really just popped from the movie Ravenous, if you've seen.

Mircea Draiman Affilated to Sunday - a young man with a dark control over sand and the desert, kind of like Gaara, although I've changed him since he appearaed in the Teufel Jihad.

Faustus Ambrossa - An incubus from some nether region of the underworld, extremely powerful in magick and hellborn abilities - being an incubus, expect hints at bisexuality (:O), and a hunger for blood.

Right, so that's probably going to be used as my own little character list for personal use as well, otherwise it wouldn't be so detailed. Anyways man, just pick whoever(s) you want to fight, either one on one or any other way. You can choose the battlefield or leave it up to me and just let me know if you've accepted/declined.

Let's rock, and I'm signing this, my last tpic outside seeing off WYborn at the bussiness end of a fist, with the running mario header that I used back when I was Arc Mario.

So if your going out then I have to take on two of your characters for two of mine. Your Erdawn and Faustus against my Joker and Jedi_Knight ??? The battlefield can be a nice forest with lots of trees...(think of the forest setting in the vgf rpg battlegrounds) Also I would love to see you create a character on the rpg to do some battles with some time if you haven't already. Either way, post the entrance please and I will respond with first strike.

OoC - Thanks man. But we had a good run. I'm moving on to my own things, bigger things, and who knows if we'll meet along the way, right? Now you got it, Faustus and Erdawn, and I think I'm going to throw in some massive stones in this forest cuz I saw a discovery special on Stonehenge and man, it was cool.

As for the rpg, maybe... maybe not. I was never really into that kind of thing. I might try it out tho. Anyways, this post'll be longer and descriptive because I love writing openings and I want to woo you out of your mind with awesomeness (kiddin). -IC

Mist smoked thickly from the earth around them, from the thickets of vines and bush and the colours of flowers up great and ancient tree trunks living and dead which rose up along with it like the fingers of polypheme titans. Leafy boughs slunk wet and slick with dew downwards, bearding the trees with hungry nests of greens and flowers and fruits. They were so tall as to dissapear upwards, obscured and indefinable in the thick, cool mists, curling upwards from the pores of the world like the exhaust from pangean gas vents, moving liquidly overhead in teeming layers brilliant and fiery and gold beneath the heated glow of the early sun. Between the dark shapes of the forest, under an almost magical hush of sounds outside the odd chirp and lonely rustling of leaves, luminous points of light darted flirtingly, dissapearing and appearing, dancing and sparking with life and vigour and playfulness - the fae at their games.

"Ah, bugger off!" Erdawn swatted at the lights, grumbling, the glowing figure darting between knuckles and fingers and a ghostly giggling following its trail. The longhunter let a crooked smile play up his face, running fingers through sweated blue locks of hair. He was as he ever was - wearing a tight cuirass of boiled leather sewn up with gleaming metallic plates and scales that seemed forged from metals outside the known worlds; corded, muscular arms tanned dark and bracleted with bracers and rings that divided tribalistic red tatoos between forearm and bicep, wearing a studded coronet, his hair jingling with war-decoration, and arsenaled with weapons both tribal and technological to alien and traditional. His face was darkened with a heavy, red tatooing, skeletal and savage, and his beard was inked a deep, threatenung indigo, trimmed into a curling goatee.

He was sitting with his jaw in his palm against the face of a massive, hewn piece of stone over sixteen feet tall and more than half it's height in width, lazily admiring its brothers and sisters, which formed a polyphemous circle of monoliths that dissapeared in and out of the bright forest mists.

"Let them be, longhunter." Ambrossa chuckled evilly, standing more magnificently to the galileean's left. "They are just faye, treat them well," He grinned as he spoke, not without amusement. "And they will treat you well."

"I prefer my women much taller, incubus." Erdawn muttered. "And sex acts come after killing has been dealt with - not before. And don't even say it, you bastard."

Ambrossa just guffawed, and the longhunter raised an eyebrow witha mix between contempt and genuie amusement.

"Slime-ball."

Faustus Ambrossa stood taller and more sinuously than the Longhunter, wearing little to no clothing, his body a sculpted work of artistery so chiseled of human perfection it spoke of beauty beyond its possibilities, and beyond anything of the natural world. He might have made Adonis a bulemic with a single look. His skin was golden, powdered with a kind of metallic dust that inked into the pores, giving him the appearance of a walking scultpure of flesh, covered with black tatoos that could be nothing but sigils and magicks. His hair was lush and snowy white, falling about his shoulders in angelic ringlets, his face its own piece of masonry , and his eyes were as metallic as his skin - a feverish yellow brighter and more violent that the golden dust that covered his body. He would have been a greek god if for a majestic crown of horns, bony and curling and ribbed, bringing to mind images of an antelope and the full antlers of an elk, like a massive bone headress ornate and easily supported, sharpened and as ruthless as the switchbalde of his lips.

If he seemed inhuman, it was because he wasn't - Ambroass was probably the most powerful incubi demon to have ever lived, and one of the more ancient. Flowing robes of white silk drawn and glittering with gold and crimson fell from his forearm like wings, covering him - if scarcely - from view.

He chuckled again, darkly, and his voice was deep and sensual, but tittered with a very puissant uncercurrent that always made Erdawn think of an undersea fault-line - abysmall and unstoppable and ruthless.

"Where are they?"

"Coming."

Ambrossa clucked his tongue. "Bad form, to be late."

"Meh."

Erdawn sat, Faustus stood, and they both waited. Whatever was coming was going to be big.

OoC - In the words of Shang Tsung - I have seen into your soul.

You. Will. DIE.

If anyone wants to be a spectator, go right ahead - you all know I fully encourage and endorse such practice. Now Joker, let's make this a show!

Scripture viewed the pair of warrirors - one an amalgam of mentalities and ages and techniques, all interwoven so beautifully, and the other an incubi of dusted flesh and curling headdress - from flitting cameras no larger than pinpoints, blending in perfectly with the fae. From where he laid eye upon them it could not be said, for it was ever so dark, the only light coming from his cobalt eye and the plasma flickering over his knuckles. Eidolon was hundreds of yards away, observing from the visage of a rock.

Calem was high, high in the air, seated upon a throne of ice, legs reclined on a desk of ice, sipping rum from a glass of ice. "Go get 'em, boys." He said, and took a timid sip. He gulped it down with amusement as he saw eyes, eyes so far in the distance no man should've been able to see them with any form of technology, open in such a away that a feeling of presence fell over him. "And Sir Obsessive Compulsive even makes a showing! Grand, grand!"

He giggled to himself.

His master had summoned him from his current mission, where on a far off planet he had been sent to bring an entire nation of people under the rule of the great Vampire Lord Joker. He was once a champion of justice and good....until a wicked twist of fate sent him into the path of the dark one. Having now become consumed by the darkness that dwelled with in him, he is a devout warrior for the grand Vampire God of Demos....his sole mission is to carry the will of the dark one and bring all who oppose him under his heel.

The Dark Jedi could sense his master awakening from his sleeping chamber, and knew it would be some time before his body would be ready for battle. The Jedi would prepare the way for his lord and greet these warriors on his behalf. Only the worthy may hold an audience with the vampire king.

A small cell phone looking device was pulled from the Jedi's belt and a series of buttons where pushed, instantly sending a transport beam falling from the heavens and bathing the dark jedi in an eerie green light. As his molecules where broken apart and transported across galaxies of space the Jedi sent a telepathic message to his lord reporting his imminent arrival upon the battlefield. An emerald light blazed in front of the two waiting warriors as the Jedi’s molecular structure was reconstructed right before there eyes. No words were said nothing needed to be exchanged between the three individuals, for all were warriors and all of them knew what reason they had been brought together. The red blade of a sith warrior ignited within seconds of the Jedi’s arrival and the battle ensued. His light saber hummed through the air as he struck out with blinding rage at both opponents. He slid his weapon with skillful style pulling with it the force of a trained assassin. Only Faustus was slightly injured as the Jedi’s weapon found an opening in his defense, while a sudden pull of ‘force’ energy knocked Erdawn off of his balance, the dark jedi released a psychic burst of energy from the air around him as if he had set his own aura on fire. The resounding explosion of abrupt energy smashed into the wobbling Erdawn and sent him reeling to the floor as Jonathan front flipped over the horns of Ambrossa and upon landing placed two strong side kicks to the back of the Incubi’s knees. Having inadvertently knelt from the blows the dark jed, Jonathan was able to wrap his right arm around the muscular neck of his enemy and lock him into a vicious choke hold. Like Chuck Lidell against Randy Couture, the dark Jedi pulled his weight against the towering creature and twisted his waist to pull upward against Abrossa’s esophagus deeply bruising the muscles in his neck as he taken to the floor.

Like his master, the dark jedi immediately began to physically pound his barren fists into the face of his enemy like a mad man gone drunk and belligerent. Rage fueled his strength while the force added weight to his fists. It wasn’t long before the long hunter shook off the effects of the aura blast and came to combine his might with this partner.

A fish, encased in ice, watched from the treetops. It restructed the ice a bit, making it into a passable telescope. This would be interesting.

There was a crackle that seemed to fill everything for a moment, and Ambrossa's robes flashed a red so deep and lustrous that for a second the Jedi thought he had simply exploded under his fists before that redness closed in on itself, Ambrossa vanishing within it, wiped itself from the air with a pop, and unfurled loudly something like twenty meters away from Johnathan, Ambrossa and all.

The Jedi did not reflect on this. He was pivoting with all the unholy grace of a wraith, his lightsaber and whirling beam of crimson fire as he attempted to burn a hole between Erdawn's jugular vein and carotid artery. The Longhunter suprised him, however, whipping up a braceleted arm and shielding his throat, and when the energy of the lightsaber hit the metal it seemed to explode backwards in a bounce, throwing a fistful of white-hot needles of light into the Jedi's eyes. His arm bounced back with it, and he hissed out a loud curse, and Erdawn slithered forward on his legs and worked his arms forward like cobras, pounding knuckle and finger into pelvis, sternum, beneath the ribcage, and cracking an open palm off his adversary's throat in several motions that might have been just one.

Johnathan blew a cough between his teeth, his eyes popping from their sockets, but when the longhunter's thumb and forefinger jabbed forward to tear out his right retina he parried by grabbing his wrist, pulling it forward - hard - and introducing most of the cartilage in Erdawn's face to the bussiness end of his elbow (smack!) before wheeling his upper body over his hips and pulling him over his head, slamming him into the ground in a spectacular flip.

His hands danced, clawing from the Longhunter's throat and the nerves beneath his chin, split seconds from figuratively tearing the man's skull from his neck in every way but visually as Erdawn levered his lower body upwards and cracking Johnathan in the face with both knees one after the other, jacknifing Johnathan's skull back - back again - spattering blood and bone, as he brought his body back downwards and rode the momentum into a forward roll, pulling and vaulting Johnathan off him and hurling the Jedi into his own roll.

They both sprang to their feet like cats, bloodied pretty good, Erdawn wiping his face and matted beard with back of his knuckles, somehow grinning viciously.

"I am Erdawn, Longhunter of Cimmera in Galilee, ronin of Westendre." He lifted himself up. "Son of Kaja-Rang the Red and student of Yuri, who calls no place his home. Who sent you?"

Johnathan spit blood. "My lord."

"Your Lord sent you to die," Ambrossa hissed. And eyes turned to him, who had changed ever so subtley and was rubbing his throat, his robes now only shades of aqualescent red like the fadings in and out of blood, and his hair now only horns more twisted and pagan, and his body somehow different... still beautiful, but more warped - he held himself like a satyr despite his humanoid body, and there was something about the way nails grew and curled on his feet...

"I am Faustus Ambrossa, son of Fauste Ambrossa, of the Family Dracule. Unwise of you to come alone. Your carcass will do little to help your master when he arrives."

Johnathan sneered - "Arrogant, incubus, arrogant and blind."

Erdawn's hands cycled - his right blurred to his belt and slapped up an unorthodox tomahawk made of alien metals and winking with lights and crackling with a yellow electrcity while his left reached overhead and whipped a bulbous, metallic rifle from his back, loops of ammunition hanging off it like the entrails of a gutted deer. He broke into a sprint, and his intentions... well, it was obvious they weren't going to play paddycake.

Johnathan's footfalls fell on the grass like the beats of a drum as he backpedalled defensively, his saber humming its dangerous music as it hovered in front of him, licking at the air, and Ambrossa flanked him like wraith, red robes changing and moving like the sinuous muscles of a viper around him.

The force surged and flowed through Johnathan - it passed like a river and he welcomed it as such and he moved himself with it, moving like a blur, running to and leaping over Erdawn in a somer-sault that layed the burn of his lightsaber upon him something like twenty times before he completed his leap (a mastery of the fourth form of lightsaber combat - Ataru - that might have made even Yoda proud), each blow deflected and repelled and shrugged off by the longhunter's armouring and oddly metalled weaponry despite its speed. The longhunter capitalised on Johnathan's landing - the force can't make you fly after all, at least not unless you're God or something - and managed to trick him. He fired a salvo of rounds from the heavy repeater rifle, which thrummed in his arm, racketing the forest with a chain of plasma singularities formed via ammunition that exploded stone and trees and just blew chunks of all hell through everything - Johnathan moved away from the supressive blanket, and Erdawn had already throw the tomahawk, which broke into two symmetric halves that exploded with chains and webs of yellow lightning that crackled through the air like brittle sticks of bamboo.

The web slammed into Johnathan, and the energy tightened around his body, constricting it, and he was immbodile as the halves fell to the earth, the crackling loud and irritating and the smell of burnt ozone smoked into the air like cook-fire. Johnathan would have swore, but his mouth was wired shut in a vice that made him teeth and jaw want to crack, even as his flesh was scalded by the intensity of the device.

Suddenly, Ambrossa's robes envelopped him like moth-wings spread in a crimson canvass, like blood spilled in dark waters, and the incubi passed his hand softly up the Jedi's spine through his clothing, tickling the nerves, the liver, and finally, with an almost ectastic hissing, drove bone fingernails into the stuff of Johnathan's back, into the nerve cluster to the left of his spine, and from them pumped a poison more ancient than the oldest imaginings of Christ, that burned and softened and spread, and Ambrossa curled his other hand around Johnathan's neck, tracing his nails over the carotid without breaking the skin, and he brought his lips too close to the Jedi's ear to be comfortable to anyone but the heterosexually-challenged.

"Sleep... rest... diiiiiiiiie."

OoC: Woo! Bring it! Also, man, does Johnathan practice like... any particular Form of lightsaber Combat ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightsaber_combat )? Yeah, sounds nerdy, but wikipedia is wikipedia and its more interesting than homework Hope I got your character right man.

Forgive me because you wrote some really awesome stuff but I'm going to need us to start this fight over in a new topic. I have no idea what to do with my Jedi as I've been working on getting my old vampire back up to old school level.
