Well, this may sound silly, but I judge on what character they use, how well they use them, and how they describe thier attacks, as well as connection to the stage (or at least the acknowledgment of the stage).
Then I put it all to a score.
Yeah, you shouldn't worry about how I score. It's pretty much my opinion :/

Yeah, we can finish up once I'm done with my weird shifts, but we didn't understand each other at all. I thought we were in the middle of a long bridge and that the sword had already been launched back at Deathstroke.
So, I think I tried to use symbolism and subtlety too much this time.
So, the attacks I made in the opening post were direct poisoning and injecting with the biometal via fly construct, setting a disorienting and confusing illusion via the smell and sight of flowers out of season.
Then he made a post to the effect of already being disoriented and confused.

Sorry for not catching that, TD. Because of the general confusion in that battle, it appeared that you didn't even attack save for the one gauntlet scratch. But upon rereading it, it's not exactly a clear attack and as such it's understandable that it was confusing.
Anyway, here's two more. Only two more to go.
Battle 3: IRHP vs. Weegee
IRHP: wtf short posts. Okay, once again we have little to work with here, so the scores will reflect that. You were very brief with your posts, but you did a little more damage in the end. As well, you had your character react to a bizarre little green-clothed man with a deathglare the same way any self-respecting cop would: shock and then violence. :p Pretty okay work here.
Score: 5.1
Weegee: I want to see more of the character Weegee in these battles, so I'll be keeping up with your work. Work on your use of choppy sentences, as the lack of description disturbs the flow of the fight. As well, I would like to see Weegee manifest some more interesting abilities in the future; keep the readers on their toes. Otherwise, I'm giving this to IRHP for a slight edge in damage and grammar.
Score: 4.9
Battle 4: X-3 vs. Trickster-kun
X-3: I loved your character, I loved that he had multiple lives, and you did a fine job keeping up with Trickster's onslaught of creative attacks. The extra lives were borderline regeneration, but since the character was so weak to begin with and since two hits were all that it took to kill him, I'll let that go. The moustache ride armor was pretty awesome, too. Your writing was swift and it kept me thinking, so I like, I like. Good work, man.
Score: 6.9
Trickster-kun: I gotta hand it to you, man. Your performance was pretty freaking awesome. Your character was fun to read and, in an interesting way, a little confused in his dealings with the little toad, and his attacking style brought a good old fashioned saturday-morning Anime to mind in its execution. You dealt fine damage, your writing style was genuinely interesting to read, and you were nice and brief while not sacrificing anything in your narrative. Good job.
Score: 8.5

Beta Division:
Battle 5: Vapor vs. Phenom
Sad to see this end like it did. Oh well.
Winner: Vapor.
Battle 6: Speed vs. Psychokid303:
Once again, what happened here? Oh well. Go Psychkid303.
WINNER: Psychokid303.
Battle 7: Acradius vs. Chibimod
Acradius: I've dealt with the Journeyman before, so I know what you mean when you say he'll 'never run out of tricks up his sleeve'. :p As always, your posts are witty and fun to read, and your attacks are always fresh and interesting. You seemed to absolutely dominate this round, despite your end-of-battle tardiness for which I'll have to deduct a point. (You were actually 3 days or so before posting, so I had to remember my own rules. Sorry.) Good job all-around, and I look forward to seeing you perform next round as well.
Score: 7.0
Chibimod: OK. I'm going to be blunt here. Your tense-changing problem has got to go. You can't seem to decide if this battle is happening in present or past tense and it's incredibly annoying. You also have a problem with run-on sentences and fragment sentences. As well, you didn't use your character's name, like, virtually at all, which was weird. Work on that. Since this tournament is based on your ability to fight as well, let's talk about that: it was kind of disappointing. It's understandable since this fight never really picked up speed that you didn't get t do much, but what you did do was not quite enough to impress me. However, you show promise and you can craft a decent post in comparison to others with your experience level, and I hope to see more of you in the future.
Score: 4.0
Battle 8: Repster vs. Lycrios
Repster: I love you two. You gave me the most complete battle scene of the entire damned tournament thus far, and as I pictured the two warriors battling I was every bit as thrilled as I have been watching choreographed movie fight scenes. You had your usual grammatical foibles, but they weren't so severe as to detract from the flow of the battle. I feel Aidan was able to pull out a victory in his usual insane way, but Lycrios gave you one helluva fight.
Score: 7.5
Lycrios: Pretty much the same things I said about Repster can be said here, except you had fewer problems with grammar. Had it not been for Aidan's slight edge in this fight, I'd have given it to you, since you guys were on an almost completely even level. My hat's off to you two, this battle felt like a main event type of thing. I just wish it had been longer. :p
Score: 7.4

The 4 Amricks struck in a fierce X-pattern. The mustache "ride armor" screamed in pain, as pieces of hair fell off rapidly. It began to fall, slowly at first. The monocled Blue Toad panicked, as his ride crashed towards the ground...-
BLUE TOADx0
---
Amrick landed on the ground, his previous spell having granted him a graceful descent. Large clumps of hair sat in front of him, covering a small body. He smiled, confident that it was over.
"PREPARING OPERATIONS." a voice chanted several times, loud enough for Amrick to hear. He turned around, expecting to see yet another ridiculously strange form of the Blue Toad. He was almost disappointed when he saw a figure that looked the same as the first one he had defeated, only with green colors.
"Running out of tricks, are we?" Amrick laughed, almost to himself.
The Green Toad's eyes glowed red. "LANDING SIGHT CONFIRMED." it's mechanical voice chanted.
A giant cyan toaster fell from the sky, upon the Green Toad. Covering the toaster's slots was a familiar sight: a giant, blue-spotted hat. The Green Toad's eyes dimmed, as it's mechanical body exploded at the toaster's feet.
"Bwahaha!" The toaster laughed. "Behold my ultimate battle-body! The Blue Toadster!"
"It's...a toaster." Amrick commented quietly.
"You've done well...reducing me to my final life...but I have gained too many points in life! I refuse to have my game ended! This is my final stand!" the Blue Toadster declared.
The plug attached to the over-sized toaster rose suddenly, and charged at Amrick, like a hungry snake upon a heavily-armed rabbit. The cord of the plug wrapped around Amrick, trapping him: he struggled to move, but was quickly stopped as the plug shocked with a deadly charge. The cord freed him, and he was left on the ground, his body reacting uncontrollably to his foe's recent assault.

Curiosity states I have to ask. Why is my name bolded? I assume it's just a mistake but I was just curious.
Also thanks for the judges doing what they do. Bringing up good points on my faults that I'll have to work on. So thanks. I hope to compete in the future.
Acradius good fun fight for the little that we got to do and I wish you luck in the next round.
