The man's body sat on the ground, not moving. He said nothing, either.
Instead, a rather loud popping noise could be heard, coming from the ground.
The battered man stood up defiantly, still with enough of his first layer remaining to make his true state unknown to his foe. He pointed to Inferno.
"What a bloody idiot you are. I had planned to make it explode, but now you already made an explosion... ...and now my explosion is goi--"
His words were cut off by an earshattering explosion.
All which Inferno had spent so much time putting back together with an explosion suddenly continued to explode. Flying upwards and in a million pieces, on fire, and generally transmuted into destroyed nothingness.
This occurring at the nexus of Inferno's feet, all the debris, magma, house bits, rock, and such flying into and through his body at many times the speed that a human could survive. This had been doubled in force by Inferno's decision to explode it earlier--this force had been added to the wave of explosive force from the bomb, giving it a truly lethal quantity.
Metal Man stared in shock as Inferno, the town, and the magma flew upwards so fast it hit escape velocity and flew into space.
His jaw dropped, both metallic (literally) and real (figuratively) ones. Reflected in his broken visor was the unbelievable spectre of his foe and his town doing what man had struggled so hard to do effortlessly.
He continued staring as it hit outer space... backing away, as what came next would be far worse for the debris and Inferno.
Having been blasted into space, the debris and Inferno hadn't gained enough velocity to escape the orbit of this planet. Instead, all of it fell back through the atmosphere...
...Causing Inferno and his town's debris to instantly be immolated with the forces of re-entry. Perhaps not immediately destroyed... but, as few things, including gigantic comets, could survive re-entry without being reduced to a tiny piece, things looked bleak for the town's debris and the magma (now hardened) and Inferno, whom all plummeted in a firery way to their doom.
Now properly able to speak again, Metal Man spoke while running from the incoming debris.
"Never have I seen a foe so eager to defeat himself... never."

but then again, this was a dragon/ saiyan hybrid who was only made stronger by heat and fire, so his re-entry would only make him that much stronger. as he decended from the heavens engulfed in flames, another dragonic saiyan walked up to the man of metal, this one was black as pitch with crimson eyes and spikey cobalt hair with cobalt wings to match. his build and appearance looked alot like inferno did when the fight started.
Shadow: you know that's only going to make him much stronger right? my advice to you is start running when he lands, I know from experience that him falling through the atmosphere like that is only going to get him really pissed off and increase his powers at least ten-fold, if not more.
Inferno had curled up into a ball with his wings wraped around him on his decent, falling through the sky like an asteroid and finally impactiing into the ground before his brother and the man of steel, leaving a crater 30 feet across and 15 feet deep. the two stared in amazement as inferno stood up from his balled position and unfurled his wings. his entire body was glowing a brilliant red with his eyes completely white. flames occasionally errupted from his tough dragonic hide as he looked up at the two that stood at the edge of the crater.
Shadow: was he white when he got blasted into the atmosphere?

"Let him claim to be stronger. Every bit of strength he has used against me has only weakened him, wheras I remain constant in my power."
He laughed arrogantly, before pointing to the glowing being.
"Look how I have made you waste your energy. A bomb and some punches are all it took to reduce you to what must be a near-final form. I shall finish you with my one and original stage, far before that form which you may wish to fight but I shall never fight you with. Your flashy tricks are no match for my experience!"
He walked right at the flaming death being, not a care in the world. Instead he got into a fighting stance, shaking off excess rock and the last of any water which had gotten inside his armor.
He then began spinning quickly, on his heel. This would merely be amusing, except for his weight. He quickly spun up to a rate which would be dangerous and rip limbs off of normal beings. Moving like a top, he spoke again, this time his voice modulated by the speed, like he was talking into a fan.
"Since you can't seem to die, I'm just going to have to launch your pathetic body into the sun! AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAA!!!!!"
The man spun yet some more, to the extent the very ground melted from his rate, and a small wind kicked up.
The smell of the grinding rock and metallic noise of his movement was near deafening in its pitch, as the extremely fast-spinning man then flung himself at the glowing being with his spinning hands, bringing enough momentum to launch even a small space ship rather far into the sky from his weight and speed. The basic principles of physics were allied against Inferno; how would he react?

Shadow: are you mad!? if you hurl Inferno into our sun then he'll become more powerful than the gods! you're taking the wrong route about taking my brother down you fool!
Inferno didn't say anything as he approached the spinning man of metal and simply grabbed one of the spinning maniac's fists, halting his rotation.
Inferno: no more games.
the searing heat being put off by inferno's glowing body could be fealt through all of those layers of armor that the bounty hunter wore to protect himself. Inferno punched his foe in the gut as hard as he could. the punch from the glowing and blazing hybrid was delivered with enough force that his punch cracked the first layer of armor in half and could be fealt as if there was no armor there. Inferno then backhanded the armored man across the face and leaving a third degree burn on the left side of the man's face, and also knocking out two teeth in the process. Inferno then grabbed the arm of his would be assassin, while still hilding the fist with the other hand, and then bent it in the wrong direction at the elbow. a loud and sickening "KRACK!" of bone and metal echoed through the air. Inferno then, while still holding the fist of the broken arm, lightly hit the foe in the chest with his palm and dislocated the sholder of the broken arm.
Inferno: if you don't take me seriously in this form you will die.
the cold stare of inferno pierced the soul of this metal warrior as he glanced into the emotionless, blazing white eyes of the dragon prince.

The injured man stood back up and... pointed.
"I could never take such an idiot seriously!"
He bent forward, revealing that, despite Inferno's burning desire to destroy his first layer of armor, it was still there. Then he bent his sickeningly bent backwards arm back into place. He popped the shoulder back into place. Then he picked up his two broken teeth (proper inspection would reveal they were cloned teeth--he always lost a number of them in battles) and hurled them at the demigod's face.
"The only reason you think you are so powerful is because idiots fear you. But for I, who have seen the blackest of black, at the heart of all evil itself, you are nothing."
He turned, his now striped-ish broken up but still there--mostly--first layer of armor shining erratically. He turned to the other man.
"Be that so it may, but if I send him into the sun... then I can destroy the sun with him in it... and then he shall be very irreversibly dead. Hee hee hee."
The man then turned to Inferno.
"Unlike you, I refuse to waste my true power. You have foolishly activated yours. This means you have enough power in yourself to, I don't know... move planets???"
He laughed, pressing a button on his wrist.
"This will only hurt a little bit, just stand still. Or not, if you want your soul ripped from your body."
Before his foe could react, a bizarre energy beam flew out and above Inferno's head. In a microsecond a cage made of energy appeared around him--but, it had not trapped Inferno himself. No. It had trapped his very soul to the spot. Even then, though, it didn't damage it...
"Now, let me see... yes... you have just the power I need. Let's take a trip, why don't we?"
Metal Man pressed a button. A weird warping noise was heard... and then...
WARP
--They were in outer space, over the sun. It was a lucky thing for Metal Man that he had an undersuit on, for his oversuit's space capabilities had been brutally destroyed.
Metal Man's manuevering jets turned on, granting him some mobility.
Without any other question in his mind, he floated over to Inferno and kicked him in the head...
Sending him hurtling towards the sun.
While the teleport had drained some of Inferno's energy, for some reason Metal Man had decided to refill it... and then some... by giving Inferno exactly what was considered insane.

Inmferno: I warned you to take me seriously, yet you did not heed my warning.
Inferno was soon engulfed in the furnace that was the draconian star, and in moments errupted from beneath it's firey surface as a golden oozaru with giant draconian wings, horns and two tails (one draconian and one simian).
Shadow (having teleported up to where they were): normally he'd need the moon to do this but because of his draconian blood and the fact that fire just makes him stronger and more pissed off, he's the exception to the rule. I'm not sticking around to get blasted by him in this form.
shadow teleported back to the surface to await a winner.
Golden oozaru Inferno: what you fail to realize metal man is that the one punch I delivered to your gut before you turned me into this wasn't meant to destroy that first layer of armor. Rather, it was meant to cause irreversable dammage to what lies beneath all that armor and flesh. Even now that one punch is doing more damage to you than any of my beams or powers could do to you, slowly spreading through your body until it errupts violently and fills you with the worst pain imaginable and it will never end until death releases you from it's torturous grip.
Inferno grabbed the metal man in his titanic fist and began to crush his body in his death grip
Inferno: but why wait for that to happen when I can just grind you into dust in my hand. or hurl you into our sun, or even disintagrate you with a single blast from my oozaru cannon?here, at our star, you have made the biggest mistake by letting me become a demi-god. even if you try to detonate the star, the spirit of draco will keep it from blowing apart, for my oldest ancestor, lord draco, now among the pantheon of the dragonic gods, dwells at the core of our star and keeps it running. it's his duty to keep our star from going super nova or burning out which would pretty much put an end to all life in the draconian star system. I would think that even you wouldn't be that stupid!

"You forget one thing."
The man pressed the device on his wrist.
"The larger the power difference we have, the stronger this gets."
It began to glow quite dangerously, creating a disturbance powerful enough to begin to damage the reality around Metal Man.
"You are now astronomically more powerful than me. Furthermore, you have added to your misfortune by disabling even more of my power with your amazingly powerful punch which is supposedly slowly killing me."
The device continued glowing, now so bright the sun was beginning to look dim.
"You didn't think I was doing what I did for a reason? How gullible of you. In your fervor you just gave me the power to destroy you, this solar system, and probably some people in another dimension with the flick of a finger."
The indicator LED on the device broke, gigantic bits of energy now angrily lashing at and damaging the reality around Metal Man.
"And now that your attack has me at one touch before death... and you yourself have demigodlike power... I have only two words for you.
As the man looked up, cracks formed in reality, caused by the immense power of Inferno being compared to the force of Metal Man, who was pretty much dead as it was, or at least it would seem.
The sun, which Draco had promised not to allow to go super nova, would not go Nova. Rather, the fabric of reality which it sat in just happened to cease existing.
Before his erstwhile foe could speak, however, Metal Man mouthed the fatal words.
"GAME OVER."
With that, a violent shock split through reality, as the unbelievable power was bounced in all directions, ripping the galaxy they were in down to nothing, and then bouncing back again. The basic bonds of existence ceased to be; matter became energy, energy annihilated that which was around it...
But that would have been a merciful end for Inferno, although it was unlikely to be possible to kill him directly--Metal Man simply wished to leave the immortal a very painful memory, although it was very possible it might kill him...
The energy ripped free, revealed Inferno and Metal Man floating in a white void. Metal Man fell free as the energy of the reality they had been coalesced between them.
Large numbers appeared. Inferno's power level, apparently, had reached infinity; Metal Man's, 1.
Therefore a counter appeared above the energy, showing infinity minus one. That... was going to be the amount of destructive energy thrown at his foe.
Inferno could speak, but there was no reality to carry his words, as the astronomical energy hit him from all times. Without time, it seemed to last a couple eternities, repeatedly destroying Inferno and putting him back together, replaying his worst memories over and over again... sending him back and forwards across eternity.
Eventually, a battered and most likely aged, if not completely dead, Inferno would be flung out a portal into another, non-destroyed reality, one of Metal Man's visors stabbed into his back.
If he was alive, he would be able to pull it out and read a note. "If you are reading this, then it is apparent you cannot be killed. Oh well. At least I destroyed that reality."
There would be no trace, otherwise, of where Metal Man went. It appeared that there was only so much madness he could take, and his foe had apparently proven to him his inability to feel pain with his endless powerups. Powerups without magnitude--what good were they when they distracted one from the reasons for fighting in the first place?
--OOC: And that ends my part in this battle. You may pose what you wish, but I believe I have finished it... at least, on my side. I don't mind what you do or say about it, that's just my logical conclusion for it. You do what you wish. Don't worry, nothing personal.

(ooc: that's fine, I need to get back to my other battle anyway, though I wasn't expecting you to destroy reality. well I have something to wrap this up and give my character a push in the right direction to grow a bit)
Inferno awoke from his meditation in a cold sweat, seeing his surroundings to be an ice cavern and his brother blizzard leaning against the wall watching him come out of meditation.
Inferno: was that real?!
Blizzard: you mean what you saw and experienced? no, just a vision of what' you're going through mentally since you're a father, a king, a husband and having to bear the weight of our world's problems on your shoulders. unless you find focus, it's all going to come crashing down around you. tell me, why did you start fighting in the first place?
Inferno: why? I started fighting because I didn't wan't to see others of our kind suffer.
Blizzard: bull****! you started fighting because you wanted to get stronger, because the first time you fought shadow he kicked your ass! the reason you keep fighting is to defend our world from evil. but after seeing what happened in that little scinario I'd say you have a long way to go before you can actually face someone like that. we're going to keep training you until you can't move anymore. but there was one thing that puzzled me about that scinario.
Inferno: what's that?
Blizzard: you turning into a gold oozaru. how did you do that? you should have turned into a super saiyan 4 but instead you took the alternate transformation route. we all know that even though we're half saiyan we can't become an oozaru on the full moon. we weren't even born with our saiyan tails. but you on the other hand sprout one whenever you become a super saiyan four and then immediately loose it again when you power down.
Inferno: oh that? our tails are retractable.
Blizzard: they're what?!
inferno's saiyan tail shoots out from the base of his dragonic tail and then wraps around his waist.
Inferno: see, but it's our dragon blood surpresses that oozaru form that makes us go berzerk on the full moon. because if that did happen on every full moon our planet would be destroyed by fourteen berserk oozaru in one night.
Blizzard: so I take it we also can't become golden oozaru because our blood supresses it.
Inferno: actually, we can, but it has to be a full moon and we have to be super saiyan 3 to do it right, unless we're completely immersed in the element that makes us our strongest, that's an alternative.
Blizzard: like you being knocked into the sun.
Inferno: right. which is how I got my super saiyan four form.
Blizzard: wait, you're saying that you got your final saiyan form from fighting near our sun?
Inferno: yeah, Tiamat was going to blow up our sun and I had to stop him, I follow him to the sun, he knocked me into it I became a gold oozaru, kicked his ass and came back down as a super saiyan four.
blizzard: that still doen't help you focus! even now you weren't able to focus on your training because I sidetracked you! now start meditating again.
Inferno closed his eyes again and began his meditation again.
