OoC: I do realize that preparations for the tournament are being made on your part, Joker, so don't worry about this topic. Focus your energies on the tournament...we can continue our battle some other time. Is that alright with you? ^_^

Ah...might as well, for two weeks anyway.

I might edit this post with my return attack either later tonight or tomorrow...

Who would have thought that the Vampire Lord, heavily damaged and weakened, could still pull off a massive attack such as what Divina saw and went through? She was in massive pain. Yet she chose to deal with it in the ways she knew how. Her healing had done nothing, for Joker's attack had hurt more than it had cured.

Staggering to her feet, the young mage dipped the tip of her glaive into a pool of her own blood that lay where her head used to be. She pushed the glaive into the ground, watching the blood go into the ground. Her eyes were closed as she was doing this, and she was breathing heavily. Joker was still lying on the ground, dazed. Her back was to him, and then after she saw that all the blood in that one pool had sunk into the ground, she took out her glaive and swung it in an arc towards the Vampire Lord, who had managed to get up.

An earthquake had started, jarring the earth and shaking both Joker and Divina up. Both warriors tried to keep their balance in their weakened state. Suddenly the earth rose under Joker's feet and he was thrown into the air, which after that, the earthquake promptly stopped. Divina fell, shaken, but she was still watching him...

Joker had fallen to the ground a few feet away from the young woman. Divina, hearing the sound of impact, sat up and looked in the direction in which the sound had come. Then she covered him in ice.

"Sleep well, Vampire Lord..." Divina murmured. Of course, she knew the battle wasn't over; he could break out of this with some more surprises. But this would work with her for now...
