Luigi 64 walked through stone dungeon that made up the maze of cells that was Labyrinthine. Among the many halls, strong armored guards potrolled the area. Their armor was made of metal, so Luigi knew that his fists along would not be enough.
Luigi 64 waited for the guards to turn and walk away before he moved from passageway to passageway. Luigi 64 didn't know where he was going, but he knew he had to find a way out, and he knew that when he got there he would know it.
After moving deeper into the maze, he noticed that there were more holding cells. Luigi thought that perhaps he was entering another section where the weaker, less armored monsters were potrolling.
As Luigi walked along the cells, he saw many frail and starving people within them. This was probably the least guarded area of all, since the prisioners were not capable of breaking the shackles around their ankles, let alone the bars of their cells.
Luigi 64 heard a loud roar, then turned around to see that one of the armored monsters had spoted him. The guard ran after Luigi, who had dashed down one of the corodors.

The guard ran through the maze after the prisioner as fast as it could. It's heavy armored feet made loud crashes when it walked. The guard turned a corner and down a short hallway saw a metal door swing shut. The guard ran toward the door and quickly opened it to enter through and continue the chase. Then, from the crossroad in the hall from where the guard had turned, opposite of the door, emerged the prisioner, Luigi 64.
L64: Ha, those guards may be strong. But while they excel in strength, they sorely lack intelegence.
L64 followed painted symbols along the walls, though he knew not what they ment. There were arrows "->", lines "__", and strange marks such as:
" |X* ", " }{ ", " ] ", and " ^ v ".
What was strange about these marks was their colors. Many symbols had two colors while other marks only had one. What stood out to Luigi 64 was the " ^ v " symbol which always had blue as it's color. However, it always had a yellow " -> " next to it.
L64 followed the arrows on each of the hallway's corners, until he came to a split path. One way had a red arrow and another had a yellow arrow.
Luigi 64 thought about what to do.
