OOC: Erasmus, were you referring to my writing? If so, thank you lol.
Angel was standing in a corner patient and calm with her head against the wall and her eyes closed. "Are you ready?" She was seemed to have been asking the two others that are now in her team. There was a certain sound to her voice, casual yet dangerious, meaning she was ready for blood. "None have survived these trials...let us change that...he thinks we are weak because of our hearts. Last time I noticed, my heart wasn't beating. So what if we fear? Isn't that normal? Let's do this!" She walked toward Knight and Killer and gave them a short smile.

Knight walked forward. They're was no rush. He was a simple man, and there was work to be done. Hurrying would only be a waste of energy and brought accidents. Since he was the first to make a threatening move, walking straight for it with a weapon and all, the statue targeted him. The man did not even try to dodge or block the massive weapon that came down. Why bother? He was not wearing near enough 200 lbs of armor simply for his health.
The warping creak of metal was obvious as the blade lodged itself in the the armored man's shoulder. Already quite braced, Knight took his staff from his shoulder, graped the slightly over six foot length of a steel looking alloy right at the tip, and swung. The over sized pickax plunged deep into the statue like countless forms of stone before. Pickax? It had just been a quarter staff as he swung, and now it was a miner's tool? Not the strangest development, but one worthy of note.
Knight shook and yanked his weapon out of the statue and set to work. He had been a miner before, so what if this stone moved? It was all just the same process. Strike once, look at the fracture for a stress point, and strike again. Repeat step 2-3 until there was nothing but manageable stone left. His armor took another blow as he kept going.
He noticed just how much they packed a punch hearing one of his ribs creak under that one. He did not give and inch, his inertia being more then enough to keep him right where he was. He did quite the opposite of showing any sign of feeling in danger having his armor dent and warp. He started whistling. It was a cheerful thing. An old miners tune he had learned long ago.

The statue would growl if it had any lungs. It dropped its sword and shield to the ground, reaching behind its back. Knight only paused momentarily, before realizing what the monster was producing. Raising both hands high, it swung the warhammer through the air, which smashed into Knight's abdomen, the powerful momentum throwing him from his feet and launching him through the air, before he landed several feet away.
The statue stared at the momentarily stunned form, its pinpoint-light eyes glowing from beneath the helm of stone.

Sharp knives were flying all over the place now as if spellbound only following her. She managed to dodge and jump before some of the knives stuck to her. When she finally regained some control she lifted but one hand and the knives all fell to the ground. "Simple spell...." She looked around to see what else awaited.

The Storyteller looked at the statue as it moved, the earth quaking beneath it and pebbles falling from its skin as its joints ground together. It was one of the largestm oving things that any of them had ever seen, large enough to grab trees and choke them to death, to shake office buildings like children
"Well," he said to Wallace and the secret agent, "what are you waiting for?
They stared at him, and the giant moved a step closer.
The red eyes stared at them, and then the shrouded head shook. "Fine. Wait a moment." And then he was gone, slipping into the shadows with closed eyes. There was a moment where his companions wondered if he had done the impossible and escaped the dungeon....and the giant statue took another step, its very movements a painting of malice upon a background of dread.
Thoom. Thoom. After a moment, Wallace and the agent wondered how useful the Storyteller would have been in a fight, and if he could have helped them here, against this monster.
A line appeared across the statue's ankles - a string, or a wire, or a rop, it did not matter. It looped around both legs, and pulled taut - and there was a moment where the statue teetered, its arms raising in an attempt to gain its balance, before it fell flat on its face, sending a hail of dust down from the ceiling. The floor actually cracked beneath it, and Wallace nearly lost his footing. Behind the statue, the Storyteller stood, his hands wrapped around the wire which entangled the statue's legs.
"Gentlemen," said he, "I have the strength to hold this thing for perhaps eight seconds. Kill it. KILL IT NOW!"

Knight got up. There was nothing more to it. The other two seemed incapable of acting at the moment. Perhaps it was a lack of proper tools to deal with stone. No matter. He could handle this just fine. He lifted the chain attached to his gauntlet. The rather massive ball on the other end scraped across the ground before slowly over coming it's inertia and begin it loop around the armored warrior head. It lowered to be perfectly at shoulder length as it spun and spun and spun. He wielded it much like if he were in the hammer toss at the Olympics.
What he did next was what came naturally. Knight released. The chain snapped and a rather heavy mass hurled towards a large creature composed of rock. They collided and the result was as expect, broken stone, and flying ruble. Knight went forward once again. This was not quite over yet. Besides, he had a weapon to recover.

Special Agent Bob moved towards what looked like a giant statue of death. To damage the creature of rock and stuff he decided to use some frag grenades on it. After all they were the best weapon for destruction. He tossed one at the statue and waited for the result...

The statue seemed confused as it lay prostrate on the floor. It looked up just in time as a tiny green pineapple tumbled next to its face, and then violently exploded. When the dust cleared, it was apparent to the warriors that nearly half of the face had cracked and fell off, only one eye remaining, still glowing eerily. Dust and pebble crumbled from broken statue as it lifted itself up from the ground. It picked up its sword, still unable to stand up, and with the amazing strength in its stone arm it raised the weapon and struck down Wallace, who had been standing a bit to close. The warrior stumbled back and fell to the ground, reeling at the crushing blow dealt by the stone sword.
In the other ring, the statue stumbled. Its tiny attention span was suddenly shifted to Killer, who had been standing motionless at the edge of the arena. Reacting to its primitive instincts, swung its battlehammer into the air and sent it screaming into the floor. An incredible shockwave ripped through the room, Knight almost loosing his footing, Starr tripping and falling backwards, and Killer stumbling and falling into the magical barrier at the edge of the arena, immediately being electrocuted by a powerful magical blast designed to keep even the most powerful warrior from leaving the ring. The giant felt what little satisfaction an animated statue could feel.

The palm of her hand touched the statue gently then her fist crashed into it and pieces of the statue fell...she did it once more faster before the statue can hurl her away. Before it almost did she ran off to its other side and once more did the same thing.
OOC:Sorry that i post very simply but I usually post what I need to post without so many details unless it has to do with dialouge, appearance and facial expressions which goes with appearance.

I most commonly use Roy, but since we got two warrior-folk already, I'll go with my most recently created character, Detharte.
To make him not-so-godly, I'll take away his Forbidden Magic.
Think of him as BlackMage from Final Fantasy

The adventurer was both in pain, and desperate to gain his footing once more. His arms and legs flailed about much like a turtle who had gotten itself into a similar position. After about 5 seconds of this, he finally managed to turn over, and do what looked like a super-massive push up to transfer his weight to his legs once more.
"Well that was unpleasant..." He turned to the strange-looking warrior who had thrown what looked like an exploding green egg.
"So, are we a team or what? Let's get some teamwork done!" The agent seemed to make a nod of agreement. Wallace grinned, as he reached into a sling bag that he had at his waste. He reached in, and pulled out what looked like a large war-hammer. How it was able to fit in there, was anybody's guess.
"Big ugly statue, meet Hammer!" Of course, by then the statue had managed to break free of Storyteller's wire-trap. Before the statue could knock him over again, Wallace decided to knock it over. He Swung his hammer with a blow mighty enough to cleave mountains, knocking out one of the statues legs. It teetered a bit before it began another tumble towards the ground.
"TIMBER!" He said this with a grin, Agent Bob then exectued another... bomb-egg strike, causing even more damage to the stone guard.
...But were was Storyteller?
