Ooc: Hrm... second snow of the year... Blizzard's a brewing. I can smell it. Smells nice. Smells right.
The axe went straight for his face and the monk smiled. Slowly it crushed flesh and skull. It hurt, but felt ever so good. He was Aidan Dreiks. He was a creature of fire, and now beast was driving a super heated axe into his face? Of course, the electricity did it's damage as did the brute force, but nothing compared to the power that flowed threw him. He felt nothing but agony, yet it felt wonderful. Pain was a part of his surely as was his very flesh, or his soul. Maybe even more so.
"Silly beast. Tricks are for kids." Aidan chuckled out as his hand went towards Beast's cybernetic arm.
The minotaur's eye grew wide as the monk grasped the flow of electricity, and let it flow into his body, embracing the power, embracing the pain as one would a lover. Most of his body went dead, but not what he needed, he made sure of that. There were advantages to complete control over ones anatomy. Fire eye's second hand went lightly on beast's other arm, and he finished the circuit. Electricity flowed into beast's body, lightning straight from his own weapon into Aidan's hand, into his veins, flowing with the natural energies in him, and then straight back out threw his other hand right back into beast ever so close to where it had started. The minotaur grew weaker, and Aidan shoved the weapon into his chest. Letting him feel the full force of his own limb being used against him.
Beast was defenseless against his own arm, his body went numb, and Aidan tore the axe from his grip. The monk chuckled as he added MORE power to it snapped it over his head and then tossed aside in a twisted mess of half molten metal. The tingle in his face, and the lack of life giving pain, let him know it was already regenerated. He had a distinct urge to rip off his arm. This was the first exchange he had not lost it.
"A lesson to be learned cow. Never let your own body get the better of you, there in lies weakness. It's a concept simple enough to be taught to children... now why haven't you learned it? Hrm?" his voice sneaked into beast's ear, tone thick with ridicule.
He back flipped onto his feet. His legs easily going threw the rest fo the debris. He stared at the cyber "enhanced" bovine, starting to shake off the shock. Aidan's eyes raged as his heel took it in the temple, sending a surge of ki into him. Beast's every bone, every speck of metal, vibrated with such force as they tried to shatter themselves and rip out of the minotaurs body. He tipped over from the raw force of the kick. Aidan's golden right almost mirroring the fire that was his left. Not yet, soon, but not quite yet. Patience was needed, all in due time, all in due time. He settled for a fireball smashing into Beast that was about to stand straight again. The cybertaur bounced, then landed on his back, his body burnt worse then before by the flames, the cold sinking deeper and worse then ever. Fire from one side, and cold from another, working together to burn him to the bones.
One good hit, all he needed was one good hit to get things really going. Then the cow would pay. Aidan's laughter echoed as far as Beast's scream, and where the scream had stopped those that heard it, the mad laughter send every body running. Better to die then face the source of that laughter. If wolves could laugh, they swore that's what a rabid wolf would sound like. Rabid and he knew it, and just did not care.
Ooc: Come on Alex... Get 'im... Give Aidan a good smack... I dare you... MWHAHAHAHAHA!

When our world is burning.
When all run like the cowards they are.
I shall stand in the inferno, and fight until I am consumed

(So where exactly did the barrier go?)
The grenade slammed into bark behind the alchemist killing off yet another of these ancient trees and creating a shockwave accompanied by rain of shrapnel. The sage’s back was badly burned and a shard of metal stuck out of his left shoulder. “If you wish to finish my journey in this world, you will have to do more than the ordeals I’ve already put myself through.” He stood up and grimaced, “This is nothing compared to what I have endured for my art.”
The masked wizard closed his eyes and opened his mind, surrendering his senses to the third eye. He saw the astral connections bound to the mercury being and reached a conclusion, he would have to cut this forest off from any astral presence. The previous ruptured barrier slithered back together in the shape of a slightly frayed seraphim that was wrapping its wings protectively around its ward. Chase began to pray. The prayer became a chant and the chant began to echo throughout the forest. Every molecule of Zarajav’s being felt wrong the influx of celestial power that was already weak in this area was overwhelmed by a flood of profane power. The stars disappeared from the sky and echoes of the birth of the pale rider could be heard and the spirits returned in full force, whirling through the air and passing through the liquid creature’s form despite his attempts to repel them with electrical pulses. Drained of its celestial energy, the seraphim shield collapsed back into a slowly rotating circle.
As Zarajav began to prepare another grenade, Chase Alphonse ran in closer, letting his barrier burst any root or branch that would try to stop him. The array split into two layers and then the outer pattern exploded, lashing forward at blinding speed. A specific pattern meant to dredge through the mercury ripping any solid object out of the liquid beast’s form and destroying the last of the grenade pack.
Small explosions wracked the mercury warrior.

OoC: Not sure. *Scratches head*
The explosions made Zarjav look like a demonic, robotic, psychotic lion. Weirdness. Zarjav noticed the Tempofreezer, magnets, etc. in shatteredness. Fortunately, the Metacosmos was unharmed, since it broke reality and surreality. He picked that up telekinetically, and tried to figure out how he would walk. By now, he stopped looking like a deranged beast.
Stupid Arcanity, thought Zarjav as he picked up the Metacosmos. Celestial energy? Since when did he have that? He had naught more than communiation with spirits and a spell or two in the ways of magic. As for the spirits... That was pretty annoying.
Zarjav lunged forward with electrical power, not with jumpy power, though knowing about the barrier. He swung the Metacosmos towards Chase, and his body met with an explosion as he crashed into the barrier, but the Metacosmos -and his hand, strangely- went on through. Chase was taken by surprise, and the sword slashed across his arm and went through the other side of the barrier.
As Zarjav telekinetically brought the sword and his hand back to him, he thought, wow, it can defy the psuedo-laws of Metaphysics, too. His wrist crackled with lightning as his hand melded back on. Neat.
The Wire Manipulator then shot a magically infused wire towards the Mercuroid, and Zarjav then electrified the Metacosmos and slashed the wire in half with it, which sent a very brief electrical impulse back to Chase.
Zarjav then shoved the electrified sword into the ground, and, even theough the ground was not an electrical conducter, the ground was filled with lightning. But, oddly enough, only in Chase's direction. It reached Chase, and The soldier of alchemy had to latch onto a tree branch with wire to get away. He launched several arcane attacks, but Zarjav dodged/slashed them.
The electric lion then shot bolts of controlled electricity toward the trees, controlled witha spell. The trees pulsed, seemingly to the beat of the song White Rabbit, bizzarely. A web of lightning then formed between all the trees hit with electricity, and Chase and Zarjav were in the middle of it. Zarjav was unaffected, but Chase was mildly affected, whose barrier found it hard to redirect so much magically infused electricity.

*problem solved posting now*
Not expecting the mercury being to contain so much energy, Chase had underestimated and made the array too weak to ground out the full attack. A mistake he was not willing yo make again. He created an explosive gas bubble to blow both of the fighters away from the position they had currently locked themselves in. A move that cost him a broken rib when a demonic tree reached out to grab him. With a quick snap of his wrist the ancient branch was splintered and he hit the ground running to fing a clearing before Zarjav would be able to catch up.
His living gauntlet made a high pitched metallic scream as it was forced beyond its tested limit to create the necessary amount of wire for his next array.
Huge masses of wire tore from the alchemist's sleeve into the tainted ground and coiled back up in the form of wire pillars that for a brief moment appared as blooming flowers before exploding into a perfect fifty meter circles. Chase had designed this array to be used on nothing less than an invading army, but this creature confounded every bit of logic he had ever known. No discernable anatomy, no ties to the celestial or infernal realms, and a nearly unaffected by every attack he could muster. The new array began to spin, gaining momentum and oblittering everything it encompassed. Soon he created a full vortex of whirling razor infused with pure chaos magic.
Anything not in the eye would be drawn into it would be immediatly torn into single molecules and spread across sixtey-four different planes. The arcane tornado was obliterating the forest and slave to its chaotic nature, the caster was moved along with it and being consumed by it one bloody cut at a time. Lacking the footing or the form to remain in one place, Zarjav was being pulled into the whirling cylinder pattern one silvery strand at a time.

Beast lie on the ground once again. This position was becoming more of an annoyance than it was worth. The fire had severely burned him and the snow was making it seem hotter than it actually was. His axe was gone and Aidan appeared to have gone completely insane. Beast’s previous attack had been absorbed by the monk and used against him. However, the cyber-taur wasn’t about to give up. He lie there as he prepared another attack. The once proud general of the minotaurian military felt the power and rage of his troops flow inside of him. Beast switched his electricity beam back to his gun and took careful aim. Aidan saw this and kicked him over again. Beast tried to stand, but Aidan just kicked him down again. The monk began to grow bored of repeated failures to stand. He didn’t, however, see what came next.
After about the tenth time being kick down by the blacksmith, Beast rolled into Aidan, causing him to fall forward. He rolled on top of Aidan as soon as he fell in order to weigh him down. They were both facing the ground. Beast rose to his feet, still staying on top of the monk. He raised his foot as high as it could go and smashed it down on the back of the monk’s head. His golden eye was smashed into the ground as was the rest of his face. Beast continued this course of action until Aidan’s was completely buried and mashed into the ground. The cyber-taur finally got off and walked over to the tree he had “borrowed” his “handle grip” from. He wrapped his arms around the tree and pulled. Even though the tree was dead, it was still rooted into the ground pretty well. It has probably just recently passed on.
Beast lifted harder and harder as he tried to uproot the tree. It seemed as if wasn’t going to work. But then, all of a sudden, a series of cracks were heard. The tree snapped at the bottom leaving nothing but a stump. Beast held the dead plant in his hands and walk toward Aidan, who had gotten his face out of the ground. When the blacksmith looked up, all he saw was the bottom of a medium-sized tree trunk coming toward his chest. Beast slammed the tree several times into the monk before it eventually split. He threw the tree aside and grabbed Aidan by the throat. The monk struggled and kicked the minotaur a few times. Beast tried to endure this and keep his hold. He threw Aidan into the air and raised his cyber gun.
Beast: This is for my axe you filthy, pathetic human!
The cyborg open fire on Aidan’s flying body. He fired at least twenty-five shots. Every one hit except the last two. As the shots made contact, Aidan could only wonder why one would want to avenge such a poorly made battle axe. A flask was understandable. But a cruddy axe?
As he made his descent, Aidan headed right for the stump that Beast left in his previous assault. Beast watch with great pleasure as the monk plummeted to his doom.

Inferno stood and breathed heavily. flames begin forming all over his body, sillouetting him so that only his glowing aqua eyes could be seen through the flames. Inferno sheathed his sword and stared at the cryomancer.
Inferno: you say that you aren't like those dragon slayers but you harbor that same irrational hatred towards dragons they do. I am only fighting you because you attacked me. but now I know that if you live you will cause more pain to my race and many other innocents! I can't allow you to harm anyone ever again!
The flames around him shifted from red, to orange, to yellow, to white, to green, to blue, then to indigo, and finally to violet. the flames burned hotter and hotter, reaching tempratures well over that of a nuclear blast. the magical flames melting away the magical ice within and stuck into Inferno.
Inferno: the time has come for me to use an attack my father taught me. It was his signiture attack and all who faced it were barely leaft alive, if they weren't destroyed.
Inferno flew up towards the cealing and inhaled the flames surrounding him.
Inferno: MEGA FLAIR!
Inferno fired a huge ball of superheated magical fire from his mouth. The huge fireball sped towards Erasmus who smirked and raised another wall of magical ice.
Erasmus: you will never learn Dragon.
Inferno: Ka-Me-Ha-Me... HAAA!!!
a massive beam of ki energy was shot from Inferno's hands, speeding up the mega flair attack and smashing it through the ice wall directly into the Cryomancer. Inferno decended to the ground and approached the Cryomancer, helping Erasmus to his feet.
Inferno: my saiyan mother taught me the second part of that attack. being part saiyan has it's benifits, main one being I can use ki attacks with fire attacks!
Inferno leapt away thinking of what the cryomancer would try after that. but he had a counter for whatever came his way. Inferno raised his tail and readied himself for what Erasmus had up his sleeve. *It's over, I've figured you out now.*

Ooc: Bomby, you want Yuri stabbed? If you look carefully she is now stabbed. Aren't I nice?
Aidan's smirk turned to a mad grin. He spun and landed gracefully on the stump, crutching slightly. Rendering a fall into meaning nothing was always ever so simple.
"Who you calling human you stupid tin cow."
The monk chuckled as he leaped off the remains of the tree and just grinned that mad grin that almost split his face at Beast. The minotaur raised his arm and fired, better not let Aidan have time to do anything. The monk slapped the laster shot away.
"Tisk fisk disk risk frisk."
The monk shook his finger at Beast and his mad laughter rose up once again.
"Tell me, do you know why you haven't frozen to death yet? Oh your most likely thinking of something along the lines of thick hide, or fur, or something crazy like that. I burned threw those defenses. I'm betting you don't even feel the cold. It's nothing but burny pain right now. Luckily for you, your covered in nice warm blood."
The cybertaur blinked at that, and threw the pain realized that the monk's blood, the blood that covered him from head to toe by now, it was warm. In this freezing wasteland his blood was still warm?
" Unfortunately for you, it's my blood."
Beast then felt rather hot. It got kinda bright out to. The pain was gone, washed away by a nice calm feeling. The blood was glowing and exuding some sort of oddly colored energy. It seemed dark, yet bright at the same time. Then there was pain.
He felt as if thousand of daggers were stabbing into him. He felt as if angels were massaging his soul. He felt as if Aidan drop kicked him in the heart. He was neck deep in vanilla pudding. His arm was torn off. The seem arm was cut to pieces. His body felt as it once was, whole and complete. Then he was missing both arms and had six mechanical. Cold sunk into his bones and burnt him to ashes. Heat send electricity threw every cell of his body. Acid brought soothing life energy. Lightning froze his body. A giant creature made of something resembling mac and rutabaga smashed him over the head with a T.V, and it felt good, just until the marching band came poring out of his nose. The proceeded to sing the song of a thousand sand trouts, this called the beavers of the African jungle and the Mexican wrestlers came to marry them all. He saw everything from hundreds of angles at the same time. His saw his own bowels being infested by leprechauns getting drunk with hockey playing vikings. Pirates and Ninjas fought to the death in an old western town at noon between his ribs. A woman dressed in white was stabbed threw the stomach with her own sword, pinning her to Beast's heart, and tried to fend off some sort of shadowed creature by bashing it over the head with an umbrella. Countless nonsensical events, source of pain, pleasure, life, death, and every sensation between wracked his body and mind. And fire, there was o so much fire everywhere. Then Aidan kicked him in the face.
The monk chuckled as the minotaur tried to get up. The effects had faded, but as Beast found out, that much chaos flung into an unprepared body just did not do any good. Especially technology, it was ever so against adapting to new things, and with beast brain signal messed up, and the tech's own software and hardware rewired, it was a pretty good bet Beast was not feeling very good. What with the lingering hemorrhoids and all. Not to mention his body just not wanting to do as it's told. The blacksmith rage and anger towards Beast was rekindled as he reached for his flask. He growled deep in his throat. Time for some real damage soon.

When our world is burning.
When all run like the cowards they are.
I shall stand in the inferno, and fight until I am consumed

OoC: Jesus Christ, Repster! I seeing what Beast is seeing. I may not be able to sleep well tonight. *shudders*
-----------
Beast once more lie on the ground. This time, however, Beast thought about just staying on the ground. He had seen too many bizzare visions that he would rather have not seen. From Mexican wrestlers to leprechauns, the cybernetic warrior was disgusted with some of the things he saw. But Beast had a bigger problem at hand.
As Beast pull himself together, he remembered what Aidan had said about his fiery blood, the same blood that Beast was covered in from head to toe. It burned worse than fire. The cyber-taur felt as if he was melting. However, if he somehow removed the blood, he would freeze from the open wounds that the blacksmith had made. Beast faced the ultimate dilemma: Burn or freeze. He was unsure of what to do. Not only that, but his body was not reacting to his commands. His mechanical half was weighing down, as it was not responding to Beast's mental commands. He could not get up.
Meanwhile, Aidan, who had remembered that the minotaur had destroyed his beloved flask of whiskey, was drawing nearer to Beast to finish him off. Beast tried again and again to move, but all ended in failure. Eventually, he decided to just use his bodily side for a while as his cybernetics rebooted. Beast rolled to his stomach and pushed himself up with his living arm. The burning pain had still not left him, but he tried to endure. Aidan began charging ki. He knew that his opponent was weak from the fiery blood. He was unaware, however, that Beast's mechanics were temporarily disabled. He raised his arm and fired the ki. It drew closer and closer to the half disabled cyborg, who ducked at the last second. The ki blasted into some snow. Since Aidan was a monk of fire, so was his ki energy. Much of the snow around the blast zone melt, forming a small, fading pool of water. Beast used what energy he had to get to it and clense himself of the blood. He relieved himself of most of the blood, but in doing so, began to grow cold.
Beast: S-s-so this is c-c-c-cold-d-d. N-not a p-p-pleasant-t-t ex-p-p-perience.
Beast shivered as the cold became stronger. His cybernetics needed to finish charging, and fast. Otherwise, he was not going to last long. Just then, a brief "whirring" noise was heard as the machinery began running again. Beast quickly activated his blood heating module implanted inside his cybernetics. The minotaur was going to survive the cold. He took a moment and warmed up before planning another attack against the fire monk.
Aidan stopped his movement and stared in amazement as Beast began to recover from the cold. He was unsure how it happened, but Beast had evaded death by both fire and ice. He was awfully clever for a minotaur. Beast raised his gun and fired a few rounds. Aidan just as quickly evaded them and drew closer to Beast at the same time. Finally, a shot made contact. Unfortunatley for Aidan, it was in his good eye. Not around it, but in it. The monk clenched his eye in pain, making sure it was okay. He was not prepared to take on the role of a blind man. Beast saw this and took on his primative bull-like insticts. He scrapped the ground with his hoove.
Aidan made sure his eye was fine and looked up just in time to see a charging Beast, horns first. Aidan jumped out of the way as fast as possible. Beast's horns were extrememly sharp and the blacksmith knew what sharp was. He jumped out of the way to avoid a fatal blow, but had a chunk of his right arm taken out. Beast had stabbed the bottom of Aidan's forearm and took a piece with him. Beast slowed to a stop and removed the flesh and meat from his horn. He threw it aside and began to laugh.
Beast: Looks like I did get a bit of bullfighting skill from my uncle.
