Name: Izhin Tir, Champion of the Wall

Standing 8' 7", Izhin Tir is only slightly less imposing than Ketten Hao, but his appearance is more regal, as the bronze armor of the Moat Champion is here supplanted by immaculate silver plating. His chestplate bears the akiteph, the Velthician insignia, just as Ketten's does.
His frame and armor plates are less massive than Ketten's, but seem to give off a strange deep blue glow at all times. All across his arms and back there are elaborate series of Velthician glyphs of mostly indeterminate meaning, though one commonly used character, representing 'shield' stands out prominently on Izhin's lower back.
Izhin has one large crystalline eye in the center of his armor-plate 'face', the same deep blue color as the glow from his metal and made of the odd form of diamond seen in Ketten's spears. Thick Hephaestanium cords are rooted in the back of his head, and coil into the backs of his shoulder-plates, which are each decorated by two black stripes and rimmed with bands of sapphire.

Less of the noble crusader than Ketten Hao, Izhin Tir is a stoic warrior who has many regrets in his past. He feels like a failure for having lost in single combat to the void-lord Krujaya Baishaal, and will stop at nothing to prove himself an able weapon against evil.
He lacks the righteousness or nobility of the Moat Champion, despite his quest. His path to justice is one he takes through silence, as he has vowed never to speak until he has redeemed himself against a mighty foe.

In times of strife, even the gods seek protectors. Out of necessity for such guardians, Izhin Tir and three other 'Champions' were born, fashioned by the greatest craftsmen among the race of deities known as the Velthicians, and given life by their elders.
Of the four regions of their great city of Ris Fenna, Izhin was assigned to protect the wall, the great three-layered barrier around the city. In the event that the moat was breached, the demonic horde would have to travel inland towards the center peak of Ris Fenna, where their entrance to the actual city would be barred by 3 heavily fortified, well-spaced walls. Each was manned by a great Velthician force, but Izhin Tir made the defenses seem truly invincible.
During the great war, Izhin found himself frustrated by what he considered his inability to actually help. Ketten Hao experienced all of the combat during the vast majority of the war, and Izhin took it upon himself to aid the Moat Champion with a daring attack.
He left the wall's garrison to hunt down the void-lord and commander of the demonic armies, Krujaya, taking care to avoid being sighted by his forces. He found the great demon's citadel on the dark continent far across the moat of Ris Fenna, and after destroying his elite guard, challenged Krujaya himself to single combat.
He found that he was no match for the void-lord, however, and had to exhaust all of his power in a single attack, stunning the great fiend long enough to cover his escape. He took it personally when he later had the chance to aid Ketten and the two other champions in the final destruction of the void-lord, and to spite his slain foe, absorbed and mastered a large amount of his demonic energy, keeping it from driving him mad with the aid of his divine life source.
After that final battle, Izhin set out on a great quest like Ketten, not to cleanse the myriad universes of evil, but to prove himself a true warrior, worthy of his creators' legacy.
Combat
Though lacking the great speed and clever ability to manipulate water that are Ketten's claim to fame, Izhin Tir is still the superior warrior by far. Between his especially dense armor plating and his protective aura, Izhin is nearly impervious to attack, and thus does not mobility or a special power to handle most fights.
Izhin's primary weapon is a sword fashioned from the godly diamonds that appear so often in Velthician craftsmanship. It is a 5' long blade and is able to make a clean cut through most materials. If the sword is being fueled by Izhin's divine power, the strike will be more powerful than normal. If it is fueled by demonic power it will be weaker, but will have negative effects on the body of the victim.
Izhin's only notable abilities beyond this stem from shifting his aura between Divine and Demonic, and from shaping the energy generated into various attacks that, while more powerful than Ketten's rather loose 'spiritual' strikes, are not as far reaching or hard to predict.

At 17' 5" Ledais Rhe is a true titan of metal. Unlike the two lesser champions whose outer shells are meant to imitate precious metals, his body is simply covered in a lustrous black Hephaestanium plating.
His armor imitates a human musculature across all surfaces, and pulsing power-cords, rife with blinking green gems have the appearance of bulging veins on a body-builder. The akiteph on his chestplate is solid white, standing out rather plainly against the backdrop of his body.
His head is essentially a sphere with a thick ring of cords emerging from the back and converging around his one great central eye, a green diamond with two lesser eyes slightly beneath on either side. In stark contrast to the blind Ketten or the cyclopean Izhin, Ledais has a profusion of small eyes all over his body, one in each palm, several on both sides of his forearm, a pair mounted in tendrils in his shoulders, and even several on his legs.
Since the black stripe ranking system doesn't work giving Ledais' armor color, his rank is indicated by three green heavenly diamonds on each knuckle-guard.
Personality
Somewhat of an overzealous enforcer of order, Ledais makes less of a distinction between genuine evil and violation of rules. As such, anyone who causes disorder is a problem in his many eyes. He itches for battle, and when it is engaged, he will use the initmidating effects of size, vocal strength and arcane appearance to play games with a foe's mind. He is somewhat bitter towards Ketten and Izhin as well as the Champion of the Sanctum for his exile from Ris Fenna and is as prone to fight one of them--if they cross him--as he is to fight an enemy of the peace.

Aside from obscene physical strength, Ledais has the advantage of the greatest technology Ris Fenna could offer. Though not as durable as Izhin Tir, his ability to patch up most external damage with spiritually generated nanites more than compensates for this.
His primary weapon is light, which he can generate for himself, or collect from the environment to power his arsenal of laser weapons. Between these well-powered energy armaments and his ability to attack using his glowing 'veins' as whips, he is the most offense-oriented of the Champions.
Mobility is not much of a problem for him either, as he can extend his limbs and neck to cover greater distances than his massive weight would allow in a regular run.

A thick, coarse beard made of obsidian barbs extends from his chin to his waist, his only other defining feature, as his body is covered in an elaborate black-and-gold suit of armor.
Personality
Lore is contemplative, a man whose myriad years of trial and tribulation have taught him to plan ahead for every circumstance, even the most unlikely ones. He has the utmost respect for life and for the great multiversal God he believes to be responsible for creating it across the planes.
He is slow to anger and humble, but he has great wisdom and will not hesitate to pass on what he knows to those who need to learn.

Though Lore himself was born into a lower-class family and lost his parents and most of his siblings early in life to common murderers, he had great ambition. He thought that if he could unite Humanity once more and finally take the remaining cosmos under the grip of mankind that peace would forge itself from prosperity.
As time went on and he worked his way up the ranks in society through an impressive career as tactician and politician, Lore became a supreme megalomaniac, hellbent on subjugating all of his fellow humans. However, he knew he couldn't accomplish this feat in the two millenia his genetically enhanced lifespan would grant him, there was simply too much to reign in under one man so late in the race's history.
He thus developed his secret plan, devoting his days to chrono-spatial sciences with relentless persistence and eventually discovered the one technology humanity had not achieved, time travel. He flung himself back into the past, intending to arrive at the moment of the Big Bang and absorb its tremendous cosmic energies to make himself a god-man to rule over the human race that would emerge billions of years later.
Instead, he found himself gazing upon the impossible hand of God at a moment of Creation, and while granted amazing power, was also brought to tears by the life of evil he had led in the past when confronted with his sins before the infinite Lord of All Things.
From that moment he pledged to travel across newly formed universes and impart his knowledge and newfound nobility unto the minds of the soon-to-be-dominant races. She has been an angel for over a thousand years.She fell in love with a dark angel not long ago. She thought he loved her but he loved another and left Celeste one day without even saying anything. She never found him again. The first song she had played when she fell in love with him was "In Your Eyes," by Peter Gabriel. Since then, she never has played the song again. How did she become the angel of music? When she was dying and was about to become an angel, she began to sing. She sang so strongly and so passionatly that right after she died and was an angel music appeared as if she commanded it. Everywhere she goes one song plays and everyone listens. She is a peaceful angel, the color blue represents peace. That is why she always wears blue. Her hair became blue while becoming an angel.

Appearance: Damon is a tall, but totally unimposing individual. He has pale skin, hazel eyes and very messy dark brown hair. Despite his height he pretty much has no major muscle mass and is very skinny. He wears a loose black two-piece sparring outfit with a thick red trim around the edges and tie-up center. Around his forearms (usually covered by his sleeves) are two large metal bracelets which he is quite adept at using to defend himself. Although at first glance his garb appears to be made of simple cloth, it is actually composed of finely interwoven metal alloy fibers. It is almost as light as the normally suspected material, however, allowing the physically meek Damon to wear it without severely impeeding his movement speed. Oh, and he wears heavy black boots. Very tough.
Combat style: Damon has somehow managed to become extremely proficient in the art of manageing his inner aura. The invisible energy wraps around him like a suit of armor and absorbs the huge amounts of damage that are regularly directed in his direction. In fact, his aura is so strong that he has been harkened to be practically invincible by some that have met him. In truth, he just appears that way because he is not taking any of the actual punishment: His aura is absorbing it all. Along with the massive defensive increase it also nominally increases his strength, allowing him to carry around his oversized waraxe and crush small boulders with his metal bracelets. His most obvious use with it, though, is transforming it into pure kinetic force. He can levitate objects around the size and weight of cars by snaking an invisible tendril of aura into them, as well as create shockwaves of force around him. He can aim the force blasts in any direction as a concentrated beam when (relative!) precision is needed. For close combat, he carries an enormous single-bladed shorthandled axe. He has no formal training in it, neither has he really improved with it through constant use, but he can still swing it. It might not be precise (at all.) but hurts like a sunnuva if it ever hits you. Taking into consideration it hasn't slashed you clean in half. The axe is custom-made and has a few quirks. In his own words "The top pointy bit is longer than the bottom pointy bit. So now i can stab people." And he has. He prefers not to use lethal force, however. Finally, he can use his aura for a quick burst of personal strength. He generally uses this to jump really high.
Weaknesses: As mentioned, he has no skill in actual hand to hand combat. As one to solve problems by apllying very liberal use of brute force he has really never needed them. His axe-swinging is very slow and his martial arts is limited to what he's seen on saturday morning anime. Actually, his total lack of discipline has often worked in his favor... He's been known to defeat opponents by using attacks that no sane fighter would even consider. But that's besides the point. As for his aura, it's flashy and effective for the amount of time he can use it. As he throws around pure force and takes damage from attacks it begins to lower and wane in effectiveness. Although you can't really touch him when he's at 100% aura power, once he begins to take damage it becomes easier and easier to "pierce" his aura and affect his real body. Although his nanometal suit grants him marginal protection, physically Damon is a total wimp. He is also unused to real pain and should you make him bleed, he'll feel it. Finally, once his aura has begun to reach the 30% mark, he starts to become heavily exhausted. Should ALL his aura be exhausted he'll black out. Although by then he has generally been on the receiving end of some serious aura-piercing attacks and be bleeding. And when he bleeds he hurts. And when he hurts he often runs the hell away.
Personality and bio: Damon is a bit of a loner. He likes people he can make friends with, but the majority of people he has met want to scar him physically... Or worse, mentally. During the brief amount of time Damon allowed him parenting rights, his father was very strict and tried to get him enrolled in many "Torture courses" for both the mind and body. Since Damon was neither smart nor strong he was a sore dissapointment for his rather tyrranical parent. So Damon said screw it and ran away at the age of 13, blowing a rather large hole in the wall with his previously hidden aura abilieties. He has since spent the time playing video games and beating the crap out of anyone who even begins to threaten his or others freedom. Oftentimes he targets places just for the fun of the fight: Martial dojos and other training places for fighting that utilizes rigorous and very ordered regimines. Since this practice is totally illegal (he never seriously hurts anyone, but he causes a lot of property damage.) he is wanted in as many places as he is celebrated. Actually, he is often wanted and celebrated in the same place... It is disturbing in how many places freeing slaves is illegal. Anyways, Damon is cheerful and easy going for the most part and tries to find something good with everything that everyone else says is crap. He is very lazy though. And although he never means any harm he mostly ignores manners and such. This often makes him come off as entirely rude... Which he pretty much is actually. However, he himself is pretty vulnerable to insults and such. He grew up with constant verbal abuse about how half-assed and useless he was. It's not a very good idea to piss him off though: His emotions are linked to his aura. He has a pretty complex vision of good and evil as well as chaos and law... And supports the former of both pairs to the max. Despite his love of battle he abhores killing. Although he has taken lives, they where all of the typical scum of the earth. Slave traders. Murderers. Sellers of powerfull, lethal, addictive drugs. If he ever sees a individual take an innocent life he flies into a practically berserk rage and overextends his aura to try and stop that person. And by "Stop" he often settles for "rip to pieces" because, despite his experinces, he is still an immature child. Quite simple-minded in fact. He is unable to fully grasp the horrors of the world he fights against so fervently.

Agathos wears typical knight gear. This consits of a black gothic like tunic that
reaches down to the knees. Around the waist is a black belt that doesn't hold any
accessories, but that doesn't mean it can't, it can. Underneath the tunic he wears a
long sleeve light blackish undershirt that reaches down to his wrists. On the short sleeve part of
the tunic he wears a design bearing the seal of the Templars. The Templar seal is very intricate
in it's design. It has two riders on one horse with a long spear. The design surrounding the
two men on horseback is symbolic as it presents the cross of Jesus Christ, the True cross.
There is also many different symbols embelled in the seal. The two men have been interpreted
to meaning a sign of poverty or the duality of monk/soldier.

On top of this tunic Agathos wears a white colored garment, which reaches down just over his knees.
This garment is what was given to him when he was first inagurated as a Templar Knight. The
garment holds special value to Agathos as he worked very hard to get himself to be a Templar
Knight. He was chosen by the Pope personally for his excellent skills as a knight and his
determination to finish whatever task he was given.
Accessories:
|The Holy Bible|
This is what is to be believed as the true Bible. Everything written in this scripture tells the true story of what
happened during Biblical times, and during the time of Jesus Christ. Agathos uses this to conjure up his spells and his
familiar. Though he is not a wizard, he earned his familar through his work in the namde of God. He has to read scriptures
from the Bible in order to conjure up any of his most powerful spells. He also uses this conjure his familiar which is a
gryphon. Agathos discovered this Bible while searching at Solomon's Temple. He didn't realize their were so many treasure's
there, and he did not reveal the location of the temple as he felt that man should not bear to look or to hold any of the
religious treasures burried in the Temple. Agathos likes to keep his Bible close to him, so he keeps it tucked in his belt,
tightly so it doesn't get away from him, as he will always need it.
|Holy Water|
Usually when traveling Agathos will perform certain rituals to help anyone he meets along the road. He is a traveling Saint,
as some might say. He helps the weak and the poor. This water is a pure substance. Agathos keeps this in a little pouch which
is tied tightly on his belt. Towards the end of the battle. If Agathos feels he has lost or won the battle, he will bring out
his holy water. The holy water will be used as a drinking substance. He will give the water to his opponent, and hoping that
it works, the opponent, should lose the will to fight Agathos, and leave the field, Agathos will then do the same.

This is the sword of the Knights Templar. Each of them was given this sword when they were inagurated as the Knights Templar.
They had to carry this sword with them wherever they went. The sword is what gives the Knights some strength to fight in
their battles. Agathos tries not to use his sword, only because he doesn't want to damage the intricrate design that embells
it. The design is embelled with the true cross of Christ. This is what is also worn on their garments. Other desings around
the cross are merely their for decoration. The cross is of what's importance to the Knights. The Knights use this sword when
they were protecting the pilgrams while taking them to the Holy Land. They would fight for their protection and die if
necessary to make sure they reach their destination. Agathos wears this sword strapped around his shoulder in a different
direction then what his pouch is strapped.
|Divine Shield|
This shield bears the true cross as well. It is the same symbol that is on their garments which they wear wherever they go.
The shield is large and if they hold it against their bodies, it will reach from their shoulders straight down to the top
of their ankles. It is a large shield and is a white coloured shield. The shield will react with anything that is
evil or a threat to it's owner. The shield will protect it's owner at all costs. Holy energy flows through the shield and
will conjure up it's own barrier if necessary to protect against any large scale energy techniques.

|Holy Energy| Energy which comes from the light of God. Being pure of light, Agathos is given Holy energy to combat or defend
himself against the enemies of darkness and evil. This energy can only be conjured if the user knows anything of the works
God, and has to be religious in some way. This energy is mostly used for defensive techniques to protect the innocent and
the weak. Readings from the Bible are needed to conjure up some of these spells and it is also need to conjure any familiar
the user may have been given.

This Gryphon was given to Agathos only a few months after becoming a Knight Templar. This gryphon is different the most
would come to believe. This gryphon serves God only, yet, it follows the commands of who is it's owner at the present time.
In this case, it would be Agathos. Agathos has trained his familar to be strong in the light of God. He names his familiar,
Daimon, after his middle name. He feels that Daimon is able to aid him in protecting the weak and innocent. Daimon stands
about the size of Agathos which is just around 6 feet in length, which is not including the tail. Daimon can only be summoned if
a special prayer is said using holy water and reading from the Bible itself. The user cannot recite the prayer through
memory. If the prayer is said through memory, the user is not a true knight of God. It MUST be said through the Bible if it
is to work, and if the gryphon is wished to be summoned.

Agathos' personality differs at most times. Usually he is a kind-hearted individual who would talk to anyone no matter what
race, color, or gender they may be. He can usually start a conversation with just about anyone and if spoken to, he can
perform anything that is done in a regular church. As said before, his personality differs. If Agathos is in a bad mood,
he would let anyone around him know it, because he does things he doesn't normally do. As a punishment Agathos would lock
himself away from the general public for a month to pray for God's forgiveness. He does not want to be taken as a bad man,
and he tries to be as pure and kind-hearted as he possibly can. With all the evil and corruption in the world, this is a
hard task for Agathos.

Agathos wears typical knight gear. This consits of a black gothic like tunic that
reaches down to the knees. Around the waist is a black belt that doesn't hold any
accessories, but that doesn't mean it can't, it can. Underneath the tunic he wears a
long sleeve light blackish undershirt that reaches down to his wrists. On the short sleeve part of
the tunic he wears a design bearing the seal of the Templars. The Templar seal is very intricate
in it's design. It has two riders on one horse with a long spear. The design surrounding the
two men on horseback is symbolic as it presents the cross of Jesus Christ, the True cross.
There is also many different symbols embelled in the seal. The two men have been interpreted
to meaning a sign of poverty or the duality of monk/soldier.

On top of this tunic Agathos wears a white colored garment, which reaches down just over his knees.
This garment is what was given to him when he was first inagurated as a Templar Knight. The
garment holds special value to Agathos as he worked very hard to get himself to be a Templar
Knight. He was chosen by the Pope personally for his excellent skills as a knight and his
determination to finish whatever task he was given.

This is what is to be believed as the true Bible. Everything written in this scripture tells the true story of what
happened during Biblical times, and during the time of Jesus Christ. Agathos uses this to conjure up his spells and his
familiar. Though he is not a wizard, he earned his familar through his work in the namde of God. He has to read scriptures
from the Bible in order to conjure up any of his most powerful spells. He also uses this conjure his familiar which is a
gryphon. Agathos discovered this Bible while searching at Solomon's Temple. He didn't realize their were so many treasure's
there, and he did not reveal the location of the temple as he felt that man should not bear to look or to hold any of the
religious treasures burried in the Temple. Agathos likes to keep his Bible close to him, so he keeps it tucked in his belt,
tightly so it doesn't get away from him, as he will always need it.

Usually when traveling Agathos will perform certain rituals to help anyone he meets along the road. He is a traveling Saint,
as some might say. He helps the weak and the poor. This water is a pure substance. Agathos keeps this in a little pouch which
is tied tightly on his belt. Towards the end of the battle. If Agathos feels he has lost or won the battle, he will bring out
his holy water. The holy water will be used as a drinking substance. He will give the water to his opponent, and hoping that
it works, the opponent, should lose the will to fight Agathos, and leave the field, Agathos will then do the same.

Lance is the younger brother of the increadible and legendary warrior Ahimsa. Lance has been with Ahimsa for as far back as he can remember, and his brother has been kind enough to teach him how to fight. With his brother's training, Lance became a rather skilled hand-to-hand fighter, and a particuarly talented acrobat.
They lived in a very remote forest. When his brother was away in battle, Lance was often left behind under the care of his neighbors (Who lived about 4 miles away from their rather remote home). He would often wander through the woods, exploring. His brother taught him many things about life. He showed him how to watch sheep, how to leap up trees easily, and how to swim. He showed him how to be so quiet, they could sneak up on foxes, and on one day, they watched a fox wedding ceremony, completely undetected. He also showed him the Zora King, and took him to meet the God Pan.
One day, upon returning home from a war, Ahimsa gave Lance a bright yellow gem. When the boy took hold of it, it became embedded in his hand. Ahimsa told him it was a gift from the Summer Wind. He said that Lance needed to go out into the world and find his own destiny. Now with a strange control over the wind, Lance went off in search of his future.
Not far into his travels he met Julie, who's been with him for some time. There is a slight attraction between the two, but neither are brave enough to bring it to anything more then that.
Personality- Lance is rather happy. After growing up with his brother for so long, he's quite carefree. He's also very playful and occasionally uses his wind powers with a mischievous edge. He's pretty perceptive for a kid, picking up on things fast and able to find minor details others would miss. He enjoys pretending he's Batman or Superman.
Skills- Lance is a moderate hand-to-hand fighter. Maybe slightly better then that. While he isn't that strong (even by kid standards), he has a fighting style that utilizes his small size and acrobat skills to get him by. He's very fast and can jump very far. These powers are only enhanced by his wind capabilities. He has minor talents with other weapons provided it's a miniature version of it (Full-Size weapons are way too heavy for him to lift). He keeps a chain-whip on his person, which he can use quite well.
Powers- The Gem Ahimsa gave him allows Lance to control the air around him. Using this he can summon up tornados, gusts, and funnel clouds. By focusing the air under him, Lance can leap great distances, and if he gets some time to concentrate, fly. By putting the wind at his back, he can run extremely fast, and he can even manipulate the sound waves that travel through air, which lets him disguise his voice, deflect sonic attacks, and make sound effects. He can also summon rain and thunder if he can concentrate hard enough. With Julie's help, he can create rain very easily. He can also manipulate his chain whip to make it move in impossible ways using his wind powers.
Weaknesses- Since Lance is only able to manipulate nearby air, his powers are worthless anywhere that doesn't have air nearby. If he's underwater or in space, he has virtually no control over his surroundings. Although if he's underwater, he can summon air from the surface and bring a bubble to him which will carry him upwards. Lance is also very weak physically and can be thrown about easily. Also, Lance is easily frightented given the right atmosphere, and he hates scary movies. Ironically, Lance can hold his breath for a very long time. Also, Lance can't swim too well. He can only dog-paddle.
Weapons- One extremely long chain whip he keeps at his side. He can use his wind powers to control it and make it move in unpredictable ways.

Julie was found one day on washed up on the shore of an middle-aged couple who owned a fairy. The couple took the child in and cared for her. As Julie became older, she was a great swimmer. The couple eventually found that she could manipulate water and change it into ice if she wanted. Her foster parents encouraged that she master her gift, and she began to practice using her powers.
One night, her foster parents were awoken by a man who demanded they take him across the lake. He offered them a huge toll for the ferry, and they had no choice but to accept. They told Julie to go back to bed, as they'd be back before she got up. But when she awoke, she was skill alone.
Julie left the homestead, looking for her foster parents. Shortly after she met Lance and they formed a quick friendship. They're now traveling together each hoping they'll find what they're searching for.
Personality- Julie is very cute. She's very polite and happy, but not quite as energetic as Lance is.
Skills- Julie isn't as good a hand-to-hand fighter as Lance is, but she can create lightweight ice-weapons and shields that aid her in battle. With that on her side, she's much more dangerous then most people may think. She's an extremely fast swimmer.
Powers- Julie is capable of manipulating and controlling water. She can make it move accourding to her will. This also applies to ice, although it's much more difficult to manipulate. She also seems to have the strange ability to breathe underwater, similar to Aquaman. Somehow, she can make water and ice shoot out of her hands. The origin of these talents is unknown. She can survive in extremely low temperatures. She can also make underwater tunnels can lead through lakes. When ulitizing her water powers, she can protect herself from electrical attacks, dispursing them through large masses of water.
Weakness- Julie can only make so much water and ice in a certain span of time. If she creates too much water too quickly, she could dehydrate. Also, she cannot control espicially large masses of water. Julie is also only a minor fighter and very weak.
Weapons- Julie can create weapons out of ice. She usually just creates a large ice-rod which she hits people with.

Although if he's underwater, he can summon air from the surface and bring a bubble to him which will carry him upwards. Lance is also very weak physically and can be thrown about easily. Also, Lance is easily frightented given the right atmosphere, and he hates scary movies. Ironically, Lance can hold his breath for a very long time. Also, Lance can't swim too well. He can only dog-paddle.

Julie was found one day on washed up on the shore of an middle-aged couple who owned a fairy. The couple took the child in and cared for her. As Julie became older, she was a great swimmer. The couple eventually found that she could manipulate water and change it into ice if she wanted. Her foster parents encouraged that she master her gift, and she began to practice using her powers.
One night, her foster parents were awoken by a man who demanded they take him across the lake. He offered them a huge toll for the ferry, and they had no choice but to accept. They told Julie to go back to bed, as they'd be back before she got up. But when she awoke, she was skill alone.
Julie left the homestead, looking for her foster parents. Shortly after she met Lance and they formed a quick friendship. They're now traveling together each hoping they'll find what they're searching for.
Personality- Julie is very cute. She's very polite and happy, but not quite as energetic as Lance is.
Skills- Julie isn't as good a hand-to-hand fighter as Lance is, but she can create lightweight ice-weapons and shields that aid her in battle. With that on her side, she's much more dangerous then most people may think. She's an extremely fast swimmer.
Powers- Julie is capable of manipulating and controlling water. She can make it move accourding to her will. This also applies to ice, although it's much more difficult to manipulate. She also seems to have the strange ability to breathe underwater, similar to Aquaman. Somehow, she can make water and ice shoot out of her hands. The origin of these talents is unknown. She can survive in extremely low temperatures. She can also make underwater tunnels can lead through lakes. When ulitizing her water powers, she can protect herself from electrical attacks, dispursing them through large masses of water.
Weakness- Julie can only make so much water and ice in a certain span of time. If she creates too much water too quickly, she could dehydrate. Also, she cannot control espicially large masses of water. Julie is also only a minor fighter and very weak.
Weapons- Julie can create weapons out of ice. She usually just creates a large ice-rod which she hits people with.
For the record, I think I should state that these two aren't just blantant rip-offs of those two avatar characters (Names escape me). Although I know that's probably hard to believe. Maybe they were subconscious... Hmmmm.....

Food isn't a problem, as he can simply find a deer, cut it up, and cook it, so he doesn't need to carry anything. Carrying good drink would be a waste if a battle sprang out, so he never keeps any fine whiskey on his person. He does, however, keep a flask of drinking water at his hip, opposite his short sword.
Weapons: Nicco is a fist-fighter, plain and simple. He prefers fighting with his own body, and the extensions of that body (his magic, basically), over using weaponry. Much of the time, Nicco only casts barriers or shields with his basic metamagic, but there are times when he resorts to more offensive castings.

As if by magic, as he wished, he found that he could form small tendrils that were capable of strangling a cat with ease. This, he learned from the local mage, was a "Metamagical Power," which would be the first of several to manifest with the boy. Rather than apprenticing to a knight, Nicco was taken under the wing of that exact mage: Florbac. For six years, Nicco was taught the basics of Metamagic, which utilized the very atmosphere itself to create magical effects. During this training, in addition to his Meta-Vine, he taught himself to control the air, ice, and fire. Just a few months after finishing this training, Nicco abruptly set off from his hometown, on a journey to train himself to greatness. From one side of the blade, the left, fire emerges; from the other, electricity; the pommel holds a water-forming stone. The handguard opens at the press of a button to expel a thick wall of steam. For as long as it is held in Shakra's hands, it modifies and improves the magical power around its wielder.
* Bhumi - Stored at Shakra's side, the pistol called Bhumi draws in and releases the energy in the air as physical bullets; it has no limit to its ammunition for as long as there is oxygen and hydrogen available. Still, every gun has its limit of strength and speed, and Bhumi is no different; it can only shoot so fast and so strongly, before its capabilities are surpassed by the opponent. Against particularly deadly foes, it reaches its maximum quickly; when against a more normal being, though, it shows its usefulness with an equal swiftness.

Magic Technology Information: Magical technology, sometimes called magitech, is an early form of high technology that combines simple machinery with arcane magics. The theory goes that, by powering certain key devices in a machine with magic, more power is created than through simple labor and manpower; it is, indeed, true. More advanced technology has since come about in some remote corners of the world, but what few technological havens remain outside of those narrow spaces tend to rely on magitech. The traits of magitech devices are dependant solely on the class of magic used to power them. For instance, a gun powered by fire magic would heat the air directly around its bullets while propelling them forward in a thin barrier; the shots would appear to be formed from raw flame, though they are mostly just normal pistols powered by fire propulsion. A sword infused with lightning magic would be able to heat itself without worry of melting, slicing through even steel cleanly. Shakra's own Arapacana is what is known as a multi-magitech sword, meaning that it concentrates on versatility rather than mastery of an element. Indeed, it commands fire, lightning, and water, all in a single weapon; versatility comes naturally to it. The Bhumi is a wind-based pistol, which allows it to draw in and compress air to form ammunition, effectively giving it unlimited bullets. Now is it coming clear? Magitech is used all across this world of ours, though in some places more sparingly than others.

Personality: Easily excited, both in positive and negative fashion, Shakra is a youth at heart. He's gentle and friendly much of the time, even in battle; but, he does tend to become angry when someone tries to kill him. Wouldn't you be angry if that happened? Essentially, think of a normal thirty-year-old male, and you're on the right track for Shakra's personality.
History: The city Shakra was born unto, Damascus, was a heavily technological one; every house had the basic necessities of life, but they also held significant "extra" magitech devices. His clan was one with a long history of Magitech Knights, the distinguished Hengoh family that had passed down the natural ability of psychic magic. Even from his early youth, Shakra was imbued with the skills and traditions of his family, of his people. He learned to handle a pistol by age eleven; by thirteen, he could wield a short mecha-sword with great finesse. There isn't much to be said of those years, up until his twenty-fifth year, when he at last felt comfortable enough in his fighting capability and scholarly knowledge to journey out into the world. It was three years ago that he received his scar, given by the lizardman swordsman Gong Wu in a heated battle. The scar only served to bind the two together, at the end, and ever since they've tried to keep in contact when they can. Weaponry: The magi-technological longsword, Arapacana, is Shakra's primary arm in battle; it is stored on the back. Another weapon, the Bhumi, is kept at his hip. And, of course, there is the usual array of flashbombs and smokebombs -- of varying potency and range -- hidden inside of Shakra's robes.

* Psychic Magic - Most mages rely on innate spiritual skill to weave their wondrous ways into existence. There are a select few, however, who rely on entirely different powers to create "magic"; Shakra is one of those, a so-called Psych Magus. Such mages summon up their magics with the prowess and sharpness of their minds alone, and though it might seem to lack the raw, unfocused power of regular magic, it makes up for such shortfalls in finesse -- the ability to call upon natural forces even without hand gestures or the spoken word, or from a distance of several yards without hindrance. Generally, rather than supernaturally summoning forces from afar, psycho-magic manipulates -- the air, gravitational fields, even the opponent himself. There are, however, exceptions, as it is with every such branch of magic. Barriers are particularly useful here, as no gesture or word is required -- only an immediate thought -- and oftentimes are far more sturdy than their regular magic counterparts. The usual array of supernatural psychic powers -- telekinesis, telepathy, pyrokinetics -- are available, of course. In fact, Shakra's natural skill with telekinesis is such that he's learnt to "float" in the air by lifting his own body up, increasing his airtime and also his otherwise-average speed.
* Arapacana - Resembling a sword mainly in name, Arapacana fuses advanced technology with archaic magics, for remarkable results. It is very thin, but sharply forged, allowing it to cut with more strength than a normal blade; it's almost entirely black, with a few streaks of gold and silver running along the grip and handguard. From one side of the blade, the left, fire emerges; from the other, electricity; the pommel holds a water-forming stone. The handguard opens at the press of a button to expel a thick wall of steam. For as long as it is held in Shakra's hands, it modifies and improves the magical power around its wielder.
* Bhumi - Stored at Shakra's side, the pistol called Bhumi draws in and releases the energy in the air as physical bullets; it has no limit to its ammunition for as long as there is oxygen and hydrogen available. Still, every gun has its limit of strength and speed, and Bhumi is no different; it can only shoot so fast and so strongly, before its capabilities are surpassed by the opponent. Against particularly deadly foes, it reaches its maximum quickly; when against a more normal being, though, it shows its usefulness with an equal swiftness.

Magic Technology Information: Magical technology, sometimes called magitech, is an early form of high technology that combines simple machinery with arcane magics. The theory goes that, by powering certain key devices in a machine with magic, more power is created than through simple labor and manpower; it is, indeed, true. More advanced technology has since come about in some remote corners of the world, but what few technological havens remain outside of those narrow spaces tend to rely on magitech. The traits of magitech devices are dependant solely on the class of magic used to power them. For instance, a gun powered by fire magic would heat the air directly around its bullets while propelling them forward in a thin barrier; the shots would appear to be formed from raw flame, though they are mostly just normal pistols powered by fire propulsion. A sword infused with lightning magic would be able to heat itself without worry of melting, slicing through even steel cleanly. Shakra's own Arapacana is what is known as a multi-magitech sword, meaning that it concentrates on versatility rather than mastery of an element. Indeed, it commands fire, lightning, and water, all in a single weapon; versatility comes naturally to it. The Bhumi is a wind-based pistol, which allows it to draw in and compress air to form ammunition, effectively giving it unlimited bullets. Now is it coming clear? Magitech is used all across this world of ours, though in some places more sparingly than others.

Personality: Easily excited, both in positive and negative fashion, Shakra is a youth at heart. He's gentle and friendly much of the time, even in battle; but, he does tend to become angry when someone tries to kill him. Wouldn't you be angry if that happened? Essentially, think of a normal thirty-year-old male, and you're on the right track for Shakra's personality.
History: The city Shakra was born unto, Damascus, was a heavily technological one; every house had the basic necessities of life, but they also held significant "extra" magitech devices. His clan was one with a long history of Magitech Knights, the distinguished Hengoh family that had passed down the natural ability of psychic magic. Even from his early youth, Shakra was imbued with the skills and traditions of his family, of his people. He learned to handle a pistol by age eleven; by thirteen, he could wield a short mecha-sword with great finesse. There isn't much to be said of those years, up until his twenty-fifth year, when he at last felt comfortable enough in his fighting capability and scholarly knowledge to journey out into the world. It was three years ago that he received his scar, given by the lizardman swordsman Gong Wu in a heated battle. The scar only served to bind the two together, at the end, and ever since they've tried to keep in contact when they can. Currently, Shakra bases himself out of the village of Poppos, as a scholar and librarian. But, from time to time, he heads out on a leave of absence to further his training.

Height: His height alternates, as all gods have the ability to change size to some extent. In the human world, he does not have this ability though. He is 6ft naturally.
Weight: Depends on his current size. At 6ft, he is 203 lbs.

Species: Deity. Can be killed. When killed, he simply returns to Hades. (He still loses the fight, and DOES die, though he returns to Hades.)
Skin: Hades has pail skin, with an almost grey tint to it, giving him an ill look.

Clothing: Hades wears a toga, as seen above.
Accessories: Hades bares a helmet that, when worse, gives him the ability to become invisible. Though, he doesn’t normally carry this with him. Hades’ scepter, clothing, etc. are all affected by this helmet, though the Flames of Hades are not. Hades carries with him a pad of paper and pen at all times. He also carries a pouch around that holds miniature scrolls of different assortments.
Scrolls: Scrolls can be used with magic to capture an active spell, and force it into a dormant state. Once this is done, the spell becomes part of the scroll, and when this happens, the spell can be used over and over again, and only wears off when the scrolls becomes unusable. An Activation Spell must be used to open the scrolls. Without it, the scrolls will not open. A simple piece of paper will not work to capture a spell, since the paper used must be spelled in the first place. The spells Hades captures are only spells that take a lot of energy. Hades knows these spells in their natural form, but refuses to use them because they drain so much energy.

Weapons:
This Scepter doubles as an axe, and is 60 inches in length. This weapon is a symbol of power and authority. With it, Hades can call forth demons and the dead from the underworld. He has authority over the dead and demons even without this scepter. He can even summon his demons without using it, but not in large numbers. (Anywhere from 1 to 3.)
Abilities:
[The Flames of Hades]
Hades has always had the ability to generate black fire. Because of this, he has always been fit to rule the underworld, and thus was given rights to do so. Using these flames, he has created a door to the underworld. If any were to pass that door without permission, they would lose all senses as long as they remained in Hades. Thus, they would eventually be tossed out. The fire is a natural part of Hades’ body, mind, and personality; and thus, to send a raging inferno flying into an enemy would take about as much energy as a simple thrust of his fist. These flames have added properties, making them different from normal fire. The flames appear black in color. Also, if one were to be exposed to these flames, they would lose their senses. If someone were to see the flames, they would lose their sight. If one were to smell the flames (Smells the same as Free Magic, which smells of hot metal.), they would lose the ability to smell. If someone were to make contact with the flames, they would lose the ability to feel. If someone were to hear the crackling of the flames, they would lose their hearing. If someone were to breathe in the smoke that the flames produce, they would lose the ability to taste. Though Greek Mythology says that Hades carries a ‘Key to the Underworld’, the “key” is actually the ability to generate and control these flames.

Hades has the ability to unleash the power of these rivers upon anyone he wishes. This forces the victim to feel the emotion coinciding with the river being used by Hades. When this happens, everything will appear to be normal, but someone may get small glimpses in the corner of their eyes of a river. The only thing affected by the rivers is the emotional behavior of Hades’ victim. So, the river would not be felt physically, as a normal river would. Also, this river is not physically present, so it does not affect Hades’ fire, nor would it, even if it was present. That’s another strange feature of these rivers.
[Magic]
With Hades’ fascination with the human world increasing, he’s getting more involved with the customs, way of life, and magic. Magic has now become a hobby of Hades’. The magic Hades uses draws energy from both life and death; organic and non-organic; physical and spiritual; and thoughts and dreams.
[Spells]
Rune Spells: These spells require a scrap piece of paper, pen, and a certain natural element that activates them.
[Seal Spell]
Description: Once the rune is written down on a piece of paper, the rune must be placed against an object or surface. Then, some sort of liquid must make contact with the paper, with some kind of pressure against the paper. The quickest, and most ideal way to do this is to spit in your palm, and slap the paper. Can seal two objects together.
[Unseal Spell]
Description: Once the rune is written down on a piece of paper, the rune must be placed against an object or surface. After that is accomplished, the paper must be set aflame. The paper burns unnaturally fast. This unseals things, especially objects sealed together by the Seal Spell.
[Shatter Spell]
Description: Once the rune is written down on a piece of paper, the rune must be placed against an object or surface. This spell, like the Seal Spell requires its element to be pressed into the paper. Its element is earth. Dirt works just fine. If used on the ground, it causes an Earthquake. If used on an everyday object, it shatters to pieces.
[Forested Spell]
Description: To use this spell, the runed paper must be placed on the ground. This spell’s element is plant life of any kind. The plant must be pressed into the paper. This spell causes a massive forest to grow in a large area all around the paper, no matter what kind of area it is. With this spell, a forest could be grown even in the desert, even without water. The forest grown is always extremely thick. Trees only space out just along the edges of the forest.
[Mountainous Spell]
Description: To use this spell, the runed paper must be placed on the ground. This spell’s element is rock. The rock must be smashed into the paper. This spell causes a small mountain to seemingly sprout from the ground, no matter what kind of area it is. With this spell, a mountain could be ‘grown’ even in flattest of lands.
[Dry Field Spell]
Description: To use this spell, the runed paper must be placed on the ground. This spell’s element is dry plant life that would be found on an open field. The plant must be pressed into the paper. This spell causes a vast field to seemingly sprout from the ground, no matter what kind of area it is. With this spell, a field can even be grown on pure rock.
[Volcano Spell]
Description: To use this spell, the runed paper must be placed on the ground. This spell’s element is rock. The rock must be smashed into the paper. This spell causes a small volcanic mountain to seemingly sprout from the ground, no matter what kind of area it is. With this spell, a volcano could be ‘grown’ even in an area where volcanic activity is impossible.
[Infinite Nothingness Spell]
Description: Requires two different runes, and two different pieces of paper (One rune on each). This spell activates the moment the rune is finished being written. Its element is anything. Air works fine, as well as moisture. Again, anything at all will do, thus it instantly activates. This causes everything to disappear except for Hades and the opponent. This even stops the laws of gravity from applying. To undo this spell, it must be recast.
Spoken Rune Spells:
[Hades Spell]
Description: This spell creates a simulation of Hades. This includes the effects of the flames, rivers, and even the demons and dead. Do not be fooled, everything in this simulation is real. To undo this spell, it must be recast.
[Paralysis Spell]
Description: This spell is quite long and must be heard by the victim-to-be. If it works, it immediately paralyses the foe’s body and mind. Once the mind is paralyzed, the victim cannot think, and therefore doesn’t know what has happened or that anything has happen. They feel nothing, know nothing, and can do nothing. To undo this spell, it must be recast. Once this happens, the victim won’t know that any time has past since the spell was originally cast. They will remember hearing the runes being spoken though.
[Activation Spell]
Description: Used to awaken dormant spells, especially Scrolls.

Hades’ Cerberus is a massive, three-headed dog. Man’s best friend indeed. This Cerberus stands about 4ft tall, and is roughly another 5ft long (not counting the tail). The Cerberus is as dark as the bottom of Styx, with eyes as cold and grey as steel. This Cerberus has a bark that can shatter an eardrum and force a human unconscious.
Status: Alive
Personality: Differs at times. Though he is sometimes strict and commands respect from others, he is actually easy-going most of the time. Also, even as ruler of Hades, surprisingly enough, he is not actually evil.
History:
In Greek mythology, Hades (the "unseen"), the god of the underworld, was a son of the Titans Cronus and Rhea. He had three older sisters, Hestia, Demeter, and Hera, as well as two younger brothers, Poseidon and Zeus: together they accounted for half of the Olympian gods.
Upon reaching adulthood Zeus managed to force his father to disgorge his siblings. After their release the six younger gods, along with allies they managed to gather, challenged their parents and uncles for power in Titanomachy, a divine war. The war lasted for ten years and ended with the victory of the younger gods. Following their victory Hades and his two younger brothers, Poseidon and Zeus, drew lots for realms to rule. Zeus got the sky, Poseidon got the seas, and Hades received the underworld, the unseen realm to which the dead go upon leaving the world. Metaphorically, each one received one object: Zeus, a thunder spear; Poseidon, a trident; and Hades, a helmet that gave invisibility to its carrier.
Hades ruled the dead, assisted by demons over whom he had complete authority. He strictly forbade his subjects to leave his domain and would become quite enraged when anyone tried to leave, or if someone tried to steal his prey from him.
Besides Heracles, the only other living persons who ventured to the Underworld were all heroes: Odysseus, Aeneas (accompanied by the Sibyl), Orpheus, and Theseus. None of them was especially pleased with what they witnessed in the realm of the dead. In particular, the Trojan War hero Achilles, whom Odysseus met in Hades (although some believe that Achilles dwells in the Isles of the Blest), said:
"Do not speak soothingly to me of death, glorious Odysseus. I should choose to serve as the hireling of another, rather than to be lord over the dead that have perished."

More recently, Hades has became fond of the world above Hades. He has been putting his duties in the hands of his mightiest demon, Pragor, in his absence, as he visits. This is very uncharacteristic of Hades, as he rarely leaves the underworld (at least until lately).

CLOTHES: Occacionally wears a hood over his head to hide his irregularly-bright blue eyes and white skin, Iridalus wears long black and green flowing robes, most likely to hide his massive Main Weapon, Earth's Dark Reminder, or EDR as he calls it for short. This sword is about 6 feet long in total, the hilt is about 2.5 ft and is wrapped in leather and Dark Energy beads which were sewn in by Iridalus as channelers to amplify his magical ability. The blade part is about 1 foot wide, and 3.5 ft long, with edges which look like they are throwing off shadows in the same manner as a fire throws smoke. The middle of the sword is clear, but it is solid, as if forged from a near-invisible alloy, which is unknown to people, some believe that it is forged from steels not found in our galaxy.
OTHER WEAPONS:
SHADOWTEAR BOW-This bow was a gift to Iridalus from the guardian spirit of the Moon, Nefertana. He keeps it with him always under his robes. The bow fires not arrows, but rather projectiles of Dark Energy at the speed of light (which, as a pure positive-negative reaction, causes the object struck by the projectile to instantly implode.
TWIN DAGGERS OF JEPTON- These Daggers were actually stolen from the Lord of Jepton (a planet several thousand light years away from Earth) by Iridalus back when he fought for The Creators army on the planet closest to Jepton, Seriose IV. Iridalus was uncontrollably attracted to the daggers, and upon seeing them he knew he could not leave without their pure Dark Energy pulsating through him. He snuck in on the last nite of war and killed Lord Jepton and hid the beautiful Dark daggers away until he was assigned to Earth.
SPELLS AND OTHER ABILTIES: Iridalus has a diverse portfolio of Dark Energy spells. The magiks that he calls upon are strictly of a cosmic nature, he uses the powers of the universe at his disposal. He can summon creatures from beyond death by changing the rift of time through wormholes. He can conjure pure Dark Energy with which to then direct at his enemies, and he can move objects at his will using the Time-Space continuum to actually place the object in a different coordinate in the XYZ map of the universe. Iridalus can transform himself into different things as well, allowing him to take shape of whatever is on Earth, whether it be animals, people or other things. Iridalus is not confined to these abilities, he is always devising new, more exciting ways to tap into the Dark powers of the universe.
HISTORY: Iridalus is an ancient man who is rumored to have invented Magik itself. When asked where he was born he simply replies "The Far West" and when his family, or lack thereof, is mentioned, he quickly changes the subject or avoids the question. He was assigned this task because this entity had proven itelf in previous battles fighting alongside The Creators Army before the creation of earth. But, after around 10 million years on earth, Iridalus began to become a restless soul. He began playing with Earth's inhabitants as if he were The Creator, doing things he was forbidden to do. He taught humans about the Dark Energies in the UniVerse, and how to harness them to do harm against their enemies. This is how magik spread throughout all of the earth in the middle ages. The Creator noticed this travesty and took his invincibility away, leaving him immortal but still confined to Earth as a punishment, figuring if someone had the bravery to kill him then that would be fair punishment. This entity, now confirmed as Iridalus remains free and wandering restlessly, looking for the ultimate peace.

Race: Oracle/Human ((Oracles are demi-humans of sorts, mostly made up of magic rather than physical form. They found their beginnings when a single wizard progressed so far in the magical arts that he halved the humanity of his family, infusing them with raw, arcane power. That family was the Newcastle clan, which has since diluted its blood to such a point where the innate form of a magical construct is lost upon normal members of the family. When a specific ritual is inducted, however, then that Newcastle receives once more the body of a demi-human. Oracles in general, those naturally occurring outside of the human world as well as manmade constructs, hold significant magical sway over the world, and are said to be able to alter reality to suit their whims. As a young member of the clan, not even a half-breed in terms of blood-dilution, So'dai possesses only a fragment of this power. He does, however, seek to remedy that...))
Appearence: Though mostly human in blood, the influence of an Oracle heritage shows clearly on So'dai in his bright silver, pupil-less eyes; flowing diamond-like white locks; and the slight tint of gold in his flesh. In terms of clothing, he wears his own, custom-made robes. These reach down only to a bit below the kneecaps, split into pant-like sections down the middle; they cover his entire torso and arms in several layers of simple fabric, and vary in color from blue to black (mostly cool colors). He also wears gloves, to hide his deformed Saber hands. His face is what you'd expect from an average person: handsome, but not exceedingly so -- neutral beauty, if you will.
Accessories: In the folds of his robes, So'dai carries a few potions and antidotes, as well as a ceremonially-engraved dagger for rituals of a... darker nature. Other things he carries include: holy beads, a deck of tarot cards, and a few scraps of paper bills.
Weapons: So'dai uses mostly magic to fight his battles, but he does, also, possess a weapon -- his own two hands. When he was eighteen, he experimented by toying with his innate magic, infusing power into his hands in a very unusual method. The result is evident to any who see his ungloved hands: twisted, gnarled green skin, ridged by sharp veins of a shimmering alloy, which at will elongate to up to three feet in length as blades -- one for each finger, as he wishes. These so-called "Newcastle Sabers" are enchanted to retain the strength of tempered steel, and even if they SHOULD break under the strain of an attack, they may be re-forged through the Ritual of Regeneration. The Sabers might also flatten down into a solidified, shield-like form for defense along the back of the hand, which is more solid... but also much harder to wield due to its combined weight. Save for his Sabers, So'dai possesses no weaponry as we would typically know it.

So'dai's many years of training in his style of magic, a multi-faceted grouping of spells ranging from speed-enhancement to the creation of a massive electrical charge, et. al., have toned him into a focused spellcaster. Note the term "spellcaster" and not "warrior"; in reality, So'dai is very weak physically and, save for his hand-sabers, has no real method of fighting outside of his magic. The vast amount of power granted him by his heritage, an inherited trait he has learned to accept without knowing where it arises from, allows him to cast his magics in rapid succession, often without tiring for a given period of time.
With spells ranging from simple energy manipulation to wide-scale elemental strokes, to using the symbolism of the Tarot to fight, So'dai is outfitted for most situations. The problem is, mainly, planning ahead so as to conserve enough energy to win.
(( There are those of you who would remember Graymor, the wizard I first created for these boards. You know -- the one with a spell for every occasion? I'm hoping that So'dai will be less... Godmoddish. Personality: So'dai is never trusting of others, having lost his faith in the years past. Always, you'll find him brooding, seething at injustices in life, and ready to pop at a moment's notice. That same brooding, however, also contributes to making him a fairly thoughtful person, almost what you could call sagacious. You might be able to learn a few things about life from him, if he didn't blow your head off first.
History: As a baby, So'dai was abducted by the famed thief of his time, Yon Yagami, and raised as the bandit's own child. He was taught thievery, deceit, pick pocketing; the works. He wondered, of course, about why he looked so different from other boys. The yellowish tint of his skin and his otherworldly silver hair seemed to give him away and, as such, he was never very successful at picking pockets. His adoptive "father" beat So'dai when he failed in his given tasks, and constantly insulted his skills. It was during a heist-gone-bad, in which he was nearly captured by authorities, that So'dai learnt of his true heritage. He had been cornered, snapped up into a small alley, ready for apprehension by the police. It was then, however, that his magic was unleashed for the first time in his fifteenth year, slaying the policemen in a display of raw, explosive might. Bewildered by his actions, So'dai began to press Yon, until at last the thief spat back, "Yeah, I took 'ya! So what?! You're mine... Just like you always will be!!" Again, Death's hand grasped So'dai's, and the young boy slew his "father" with a single Point Gun to the head. It was a beautiful sight for those so inclined near the end, as years of torment were lashed out into Yon by So'dai, until his corpse was nearly unrecognizable with as many bruises and disfigurements had been delivered upon him. Once free of his "mentor," So'dai was free to search out his parents. All he had was a faint inkling in his blood of a life stolen, and even now, he's been wholly unsuccessful in finding them. Along the way, however, he's tutored himself in his own, unique magics, and since then he's become quite the sorcerer for one so young. Parents he lacks; but the power to prevent a betrayal like Yon's was now his. There would be no tears, no looking back; all there was, was forward -- full steam.

Special Abilities: Being a Guardsman, Van is gifted with a natural ability to create and control shields, barriers, and walls of spiritually-generated force. While most shields extend only a short distance away from the body (excepting projectile attacks), more advanced abilities can be formed away from the body, as well.
General Combat: Shields, shields, and more shields; that's Van's sole fighting ability, which he presses to the utmost. In addition to the normal defensive barriers and stitch-ups, however, he also possesses a few offensive shields -- you'd usually consider it a mistake, but there are, indeed, offensive shields. After all, a shield's job is to "reject" damage, so why not "inflict" it as a reverse, as well? As to what shields there are: I'll let you imagine what possibilities I've come up with so far. In general, hand-to-hand or blade-on-blade combat, Van is about what you'd expect of an average combatant.
Personality: Weighted down by the duties of his clan to his lords, Van has, in his present, become sullen much of the time, always deep in thought, as he shows outwardly. Matters of religion, duty, honor, whatever happens to come to mind; he's pondered them all to death. As such, he's become quite set in his ways, often crotchety and defiant, even to his immediate superiors in rank, if the situation calls for it. He takes no **** from anyone, from the King on down, even if it means defying his heritage and ancestral duties. In fact, he's been reprimanded many times in the past for "behavior unwarranted of an Officer to his Superiors," "impudence and ignorance," and so on. Though, at the times when he defies the ones he "serves," Van feels most alive -- more than any other point in time, even during the happiest of celebrations. In his "impudence," he finds salvation from the rut his family's settled into over the past centuries.
History: Borne of Vince Trine, nephew of Bansh Trine, Van was destined to be a Guardsman from birth onward. From as far back as he could remember, he scraped and bowed to his masters, often enduring beatings and stern "reprimands" from those lords of cruelty. Naturally, as you could imagine, Van's early years weren't much fun; he first developed his quirk of masochistic defiance at age thirteen, during a dispute with his swordsmanship master, if you'd like to know, which is when Van began to unconsciously relish the sharp tongue he was granted by God. By the time he'd reached the age of twenty-four, he had mostly mastered the basic shields of the clan, and had already begun study into the denser stuff. However, it was about then that he first experienced true pain: his childhood friend, Tass Duos, died of mysterious circumstances. The OFFICIAL explanation was that he'd fallen from the stairs and died, but Van knew better. Curious, he led a personal investigation up to the level of his Captain, but there, he was halted abruptly. He never discovered what -- and who -- killed his friend, and the knowledge of his own weakness has tortured him ever since. His training began to slack for a time, as the pain and guilt wracked him. Just a year later, when he was twenty-five, Van fled the kingdom, breathing not a word to even his own mother, equipped only with his sword and shield, to brave the world alone.

That family was the Newcastle clan, which has since diluted its blood to such a point where the innate form of a magical construct is lost upon normal members of the family. When a specific ritual is inducted, however, then that Newcastle receives once more the body of a demi-human. Oracles in general, those naturally occurring outside of the human world as well as manmade constructs, hold significant magical sway over the world, and are said to be able to alter reality to suit their whims. As a young member of the clan, not even a half-breed in terms of blood-dilution, So'dai possesses only a fragment of this power. He does, however, seek to remedy that...))
Appearence: Though mostly human in blood, the influence of an Oracle heritage shows clearly on So'dai in his bright silver, pupil-less eyes; flowing diamond-like white locks; and the slight tint of gold in his flesh. In terms of clothing, he wears his own, custom-made robes. These reach down only to a bit below the kneecaps, split into pant-like sections down the middle; they cover his entire torso and arms in several layers of simple fabric, and vary in color from blue to black (mostly cool colors). He also wears gloves, to hide his deformed Saber hands. His face is what you'd expect from an average person: handsome, but not exceedingly so -- neutral beauty, if you will.
Accessories: In the folds of his robes, So'dai carries a few potions and antidotes, as well as a ceremonially-engraved dagger for rituals of a... darker nature. Other things he carries include: holy beads, a deck of tarot cards, and a few scraps of paper bills.
Weapons: So'dai uses mostly magic to fight his battles, but he does, also, possess a weapon -- his own two hands. When he was eighteen, he experimented by toying with his innate magic, infusing power into his hands in a very unusual method. The result is evident to any who see his ungloved hands: twisted, gnarled green skin, ridged by sharp veins of a shimmering alloy, which at will elongate to up to three feet in length as blades -- one for each finger, as he wishes. These so-called "Newcastle Sabers" are enchanted to retain the strength of tempered steel, and even if they SHOULD break under the strain of an attack, they may be re-forged through the Ritual of Regeneration. The Sabers might also flatten down into a solidified, shield-like form for defense along the back of the hand, which is more solid... but also much harder to wield due to its combined weight. Save for his Sabers, So'dai possesses no weaponry as we would typically know it.

So'dai's many years of training in his style of magic, a multi-faceted grouping of spells ranging from speed-enhancement to the creation of a massive electrical charge, et. al., have toned him into a focused spellcaster. Note the term "spellcaster" and not "warrior"; in reality, So'dai is very weak physically and, save for his hand-sabers, has no real method of fighting outside of his magic. The vast amount of power granted him by his heritage, an inherited trait he has learned to accept without knowing where it arises from, allows him to cast his magics in rapid succession, often without tiring for a given period of time.
With spells ranging from simple energy manipulation to wide-scale elemental strokes, to using the symbolism of the Tarot to fight, So'dai is outfitted for most situations. The problem is, mainly, planning ahead so as to conserve enough energy to win.

Godmoddish. Personality: So'dai is never trusting of others, having lost his faith in the years past. Always, you'll find him brooding, seething at injustices in life, and ready to pop at a moment's notice. That same brooding, however, also contributes to making him a fairly thoughtful person, almost what you could call sagacious. You might be able to learn a few things about life from him, if he didn't blow your head off first.
History: As a baby, So'dai was abducted by the famed thief of his time, Yon Yagami, and raised as the bandit's own child. He was taught thievery, deceit, pick pocketing; the works. He wondered, of course, about why he looked so different from other boys. The yellowish tint of his skin and his otherworldly silver hair seemed to give him away and, as such, he was never very successful at picking pockets. His adoptive "father" beat So'dai when he failed in his given tasks, and constantly insulted his skills. It was during a heist-gone-bad, in which he was nearly captured by authorities, that So'dai learnt of his true heritage. He had been cornered, snapped up into a small alley, ready for apprehension by the police. It was then, however, that his magic was unleashed for the first time in his fifteenth year, slaying the policemen in a display of raw, explosive might. Bewildered by his actions, So'dai began to press Yon, until at last the thief spat back, "Yeah, I took 'ya! So what?! You're mine... Just like you always will be!!" Again, Death's hand grasped So'dai's, and the young boy slew his "father" with a single Point Gun to the head. It was a beautiful sight for those so inclined near the end, as years of torment were lashed out into Yon by So'dai, until his corpse was nearly unrecognizable with as many bruises and disfigurements had been delivered upon him. Once free of his "mentor," So'dai was free to search out his parents. All he had was a faint inkling in his blood of a life stolen, and even now, he's been wholly unsuccessful in finding them. Along the way, however, he's tutored himself in his own, unique magics, and since then he's become quite the sorcerer for one so young. Parents he lacks; but the power to prevent a betrayal like Yon's was now his. There would be no tears, no looking back; all there was, was forward -- full steam.

Special Abilities: Being a Guardsman, Van is gifted with a natural ability to create and control shields, barriers, and walls of spiritually-generated force. While most shields extend only a short distance away from the body (excepting projectile attacks), more advanced abilities can be formed away from the body, as well.
General Combat: Shields, shields, and more shields; that's Van's sole fighting ability, which he presses to the utmost. In addition to the normal defensive barriers and stitch-ups, however, he also possesses a few offensive shields -- you'd usually consider it a mistake, but there are, indeed, offensive shields. After all, a shield's job is to "reject" damage, so why not "inflict" it as a reverse, as well? As to what shields there are: I'll let you imagine what possibilities I've come up with so far. In general, hand-to-hand or blade-on-blade combat, Van is about what you'd expect of an average combatant.
Personality: Weighted down by the duties of his clan to his lords, Van has, in his present, become sullen much of the time, always deep in thought, as he shows outwardly. Matters of religion, duty, honor, whatever happens to come to mind; he's pondered them all to death. As such, he's become quite set in his ways, often crotchety and defiant, even to his immediate superiors in rank, if the situation calls for it. He takes no **** from anyone, from the King on down, even if it means defying his heritage and ancestral duties. In fact, he's been reprimanded many times in the past for "behavior unwarranted of an Officer to his Superiors," "impudence and ignorance," and so on. Though, at the times when he defies the ones he "serves," Van feels most alive -- more than any other point in time, even during the happiest of celebrations. In his "impudence," he finds salvation from the rut his family's settled into over the past centuries.
History: Borne of Vince Trine, nephew of Bansh Trine, Van was destined to be a Guardsman from birth onward. From as far back as he could remember, he scraped and bowed to his masters, often enduring beatings and stern "reprimands" from those lords of cruelty. Naturally, as you could imagine, Van's early years weren't much fun; he first developed his quirk of masochistic defiance at age thirteen, during a dispute with his swordsmanship master, if you'd like to know, which is when Van began to unconsciously relish the sharp tongue he was granted by God. By the time he'd reached the age of twenty-four, he had mostly mastered the basic shields of the clan, and had already begun study into the denser stuff. However, it was about then that he first experienced true pain: his childhood friend, Tass Duos, died of mysterious circumstances. The OFFICIAL explanation was that he'd fallen from the stairs and died, but Van knew better. Curious, he led a personal investigation up to the level of his Captain, but there, he was halted abruptly. He never discovered what -- and who -- killed his friend, and the knowledge of his own weakness has tortured him ever since. His training began to slack for a time, as the pain and guilt wracked him. Just a year later, when he was twenty-five, Van fled the kingdom, breathing not a word to even his own mother, equipped only with his sword and shield, to brave the world alone.

I'm new to the Battlefield and I've actually never fought in a battle here so I'll go ahead and post my character here. (I only have one. See the warning at the start of the post.)

Age- Timeless. Shadow had his beginnings sometime just before the first Deception of mankind. It was said that as punishment for some great wrong he committed, the gods gave him the ability to live and not grow old. Though one may at first find this possibility desirable, Shadow soon became weary of this world and his punishment began. In an effort to regain his mortality and be able to die a peaceful death, Shadow set out to rid the world of the evil Shataiki that remained after the world was ravaged during the first Deception. In so doing he hoped to please the gods and be granted the things he so longed for: a home; a family; the ability to make friends and not have to mourne their passing for eternity while he labored on for a cause that seems unachieveable.

a. Primary Weapon- Raven Sword. The Raven Sword is an enchanted blade said to have been made by the ledgendary Dwemer poeple. The sword was said to have rested for many years at Ravenshold, allegedly giving the stronghold its name. After the First Great Deception, the fort at Ravenshold was destroyed and the sword was lost. Believing it to be buried beneath tons of rubble, the people did not search for the blade and it was not until the great warrior Tancred Redwan returned from his travels and weilded the sword against the evil Shataiki during the Tribulation succeeding the Great Deception that it was known that the sword still existed. The blade has a silver color, said to be made of mithril. The hilt is black and the gaurd takes the shape of upswept raven's wings, giving the sword its name.
b. Secondary Weapon- Dagger. This dagger is said to have been made by Shadow's own father, who was a blacksmith. It is very precious to him and he would readily give his life to keep it from harm, it being the only thing he has from his past.
c. Projectile- Bow and Arrow. Made from the wood of the holly trees in Vallenwood and strung with Elven hair, it is accurate up to a range of half a mile, though it is usefull to a much longer range as the weilder can easily compensate for the distance as long as there is little wind.
d. Hand-to-hand- Marduk. Shadow developed this fighting style from all of the martial arts that he observered during his long life. It is characterized by fast attacks executed successivley, forcing the enemy to block several blows and leave himself open for attack. Marduk involves many kicks and flips and is very effective at besting large numbers of mostly unskilled foes. Over the years it was changed and manipulated so as to offer the best defence against the fighting style of that certain time period.
Armor- None. Prefers stealth and surprise to an open confrontation. Shadow's apparel is almost all black, allowing him to move undetected easily. He wears a long cloak with a hood to hide his face and muffle any sounds that would betray his movement, however slight they may be.
Magic- Shadow uses little magic other than the ordinary kind that most wood dwelling peoples use to avoid detection. Over the years Shadow came accross many different spells but he usually avoids using them as he normally associates any type of magic with the Shataiki, which are the manifestation of evil in this world.
Forms- Shadow is a human and his only defining factor is that he is immune to aging. Though over the years he has perfected the art of stealth so well that some thought he was a ghost, he is confined to human limits in most areas.

Sent by his commander to try to find some weakness that the weakening Crusader army could use to defeat the evil Shataiki, Shadow became ensnared by their leader Teelah, and was fooled into betraying the Crusader army. The Shataiki then roamed unchecked through the land, ravaging everything that was good. Horrified by what he had done, Shadow begged the gods to strike him down and let the nightmare cease. Having pity on him, the gods imparted to him some of their power, allowing him to crush the Shataiki stronghold in one final, desperate assault. After the destruction of their home, the Shataiki fled to the far corners of the earth, nursing their wounds and planning the day when they would once again reclaim the world for evil. Exhausted by the attack, Shadow laid down to die. The gods had taken their power, its purpose now fulfilled; but they refused to let Shadow die. As punishment for the death and suffering that he had caused, Shadow was to remain on Earth until he was either killed or the Shataiki were anhialated. After rushing into a battle and refusing to defend himself so as to end his life, the gods raised Shadow from the dead and made him swear an oath that with every breath in his body he would do his best to exterminate every Shataiki in the world. Shadow has flitted in and out of history many times, always trying to rid the world of evil, of the Shataiki. Though most cannot see the Shataiki unless the Shataiki wish them to, Shadow was given the ability to see them in their true form. They take the shape of giant bats with huge, leathery wings and red, pupil-less eyes. Throughout history, The Shadow has combatted the Shataiki by fighting wickedness and encouraging peace. For in doing so he is taking away the Shataiki's only food source: evil. Though Shadow has engaged the Shataiki physically on many occasions when they grew strong and showed themselves openly, the greatest battle has been fought quietly, behind every human war and disagreement. The Shadow has taken many aliases, never staying in one place too long; and it is rumored that many great movers of history, such as King Aurthur and other mythical figures, were truly The Shadow battling the forces of evil throughout the ages; though the facts have long been lost. Shadow was not averse to war and often fought to defend the innocent and the weak. Though he encouraged peace he knew that as long as the Shataiki were in the world no peace would be complete, and he battled constantly against the Shataiki and the unfortunate souls they chose to do their evil. Though he took on the guise of great men from time to time, for the most part he is unheard and unseen; flitting through the shadows and defending the innocent as they slumber. He is constantly tortured by the memories of those he has known and longs for the day when death takes him. He remains to himself when he tkaes on an alias amd hides behind the figures of a great leader or a quiet patriot so as not to get close to anyone. He remains to this day, combatting evil in an ever increasing struggle; whether a great leader, or a quiet Shadow, he is always there, always watching, always protecting, always fighting.
