Metal Man, what happens on the fourth day? The city's chunks go flying out into space in individual directions, eventually destroying more places much like this one was?

Or does Galefore post?

It really doesn't make me post any faster, so whatevs. It seems like every time I sit down to write, I am interrupted by real life (I start college this Thursday, and preparation has decided to eat my time, along with all of the other shtuff I do when I'm not doing something band or school related). But fret not. Tonight, I've hours of uninterrupted free time. I will not be distracted. And I can guarantee (seriously, guarantee, as in there's no way I won't be able to do this) that I can get at least half of it done by 12 AM. The other half may well be done soon after that. So be prepared... The final judgment is nigh.

Well, see Inferno, If your going to go by that reference, you should not omit these ones.

Goku = Roughly 5' 8". Suits his build with things around him, and it's what I'm getting from a quick googling.

Cell= Roughly 7' 6" From quick googling about his comparable height to others.

Inferno = Tall, basing this on the whole half dragon thing. Dragons are big, sayins are not midgets, so inferno should be tall. Also, 6' 2" in your bio.

Aidan = 5' 6"

Cell = MUCH taller then Goku and standing on a semi flat surface.
Aidan = Shorter then Inferno and sitting down, in the lowest recess of a semi spherical area.

This might be where I should point out the whole... this entire round was supposed to be fought in one singular battlefield. Where one can see and hear the others, but are not affected by them. Midgar, platforms on the colossus, being the 2 previous one that come to mind.

Also, the points don't matter. It's about yay and ney for the judging. Well, 's how it supposed to be. Dunno why I did not point that out like, a month ago. For future reference, of course. Feel free to toss em out, but as it stood originally, there was no possibility of "oh hey, that 7-6, 6-5, and 5-8 means fighter 2 wins even if fighter 1 had two judges backing his win."

Not saying were changing anything this run, but it's something to remember for the next one.
When our world is burning.
When all run like the cowards they are.
I shall stand in the inferno, and fight until I am consumed

Hope these two judges will reach a firm enough consensus on the winnars. We might not need #3 at all.

Coincidentally, that move was just as cheesy in the video as it was in your post.

Man, life is making me look like a bitch.

That "Free Time" I mentioned? Didn't happen. Bunch of things kept coming up (not to mention practice went on longer than usual tonight). But there is absolutely nothing happening tomorrow, meaning I can dedicate all day to this. If I'm not done by the end of the day, so help me God I'll either quit or go cry somewhere while you all think I'm more of a lazy ******* than you already do. D:

I'm seriously really sorry, guys. I feel guilty as ****.

Is that what all DBZ episodes are like? Man, the way the animators cut corners no wonder they cranked out a tonne of stuff.

Anyway I think I'm fired after this tourney for making Gale look bad :p

Day five...

/me chucks five knives, as the meteor gets closer.

I may actually be interested in beating around the fighterless corpse of whoever it was I was fighting in the last NLBFT... ...if for nothing else, to get the player of said corpse to get off their butt and properly fight me. Don't make me wait too much longer. :p

That would be sort of the idea I'd be going for. Especially since that punk wussed out on actually posting more than twice. I don't care how good you were back in the old days--if you can't fulfill obligations you voluntarily undertook, then you have no point even being in the tournament.

That was of course, why there used to be time limits to things. :p

I JUDGED A BATTLE.

OH GOD IT IS A MIRACLE.

I'll have the next two done and the first three posted within an hour, hopefully.

EDIT: Alright lads. Here it is. The first three battles, judged. I shall work on the next three soon.

----

Loot: I gotta say, you didn't really do much in the way of violent, visceral nastiness aside from the meaty details in your opener, which were not even against your opponent. I give you credit for having the more interesting character, though. Fear (a quality personified) reminds me of some of Wyborn's similar characters of old, and for that, I give you nostalgia props. Otherwise, good writing, good pacing... Just not enough gore.
Score: 7

Mushi: You barely edged out a win here, if not simply because you were a little more violent and gorey. Your attacks were overall a bit more creative. However, once again, the violence in your posts wasn't leveled so much at your opponent as it was at some poor family at the start. Remember, in this tourney the goal is to be as nasty to your opponent as possible, and I didn't see much of that here (aside from the damage you did to yourself in your own post). Overall, very good writing and a good grasp of storytelling, just up the violence next round, because that's what this tournament is about.
Score: 7.5
-----

Tazy: Love the character, but my problem with you was that you switched tense too much. That said, this tournament is not about writing... So I can't really complain. Just remember in the future to keep your posts in either present (i.e. “he quickly grabs his blade”) or past (he quickly grabbed his blade) throughout the whole post to avoid the slightly jarring effect it has. I enjoyed how you managed to still pull out some really creative attacks against a being that lacks blood and bone for the goreyness factor, and though there were some slight clarity issues, it was still fun to read. Good show, lad.
Tazy: 7

A Traveler: Good God, dude, you're good. I love the style and the humor, and I love the visceral, clear damage you did throughout. It was really quite a joy to read. Your writing style is crisp and detailed, and the attacks were perfectly clear and pretty damn brutal. The Soul Stone was an interesting character as well, but I'd like to see you work with a less powerful character next time just to see how well you and another fighter could pull off the complete hand-to-hand, bloody-gutsy one-on-one style together.
A Traveler: 8.5
-----

Metal Man: If there's two things you absolutely love, it's the word “slag” and ctrl+b. Still, your attacks were sickeningly creative, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Good use of your “time powers”, and the whole car-hubcap-drill thing was brilliant. You did a lot of damage with what seems at first like a pretty limited character, so I give you all sorts of cred. Good job, my droog... I think I'll give this round to you, but barely.
Metal Man: 8.1

Repster: Rep, my man. You're awesome. The stuff you do? Gloriously bloody. I love the severed-leg attack, I love the black-smith-reforging attack, and I loved the ways you dealt with the massive amounts of damage done to you. You did a lot of good visceral damage to a metal opponent in ways previously unheard of, and for that, I tip my hat to you. In the end, you both did equally well, so I ended up giving it to MM because he did the most damage... But he only barely edged you out. Good battle, man.
Repster: 8.0

Hm, I beat Repster of all people, in Red Lions. Well, color me surprised. In any case, can't wait to see the other three, although by virtue of finally posting those ones, you won't have to endure any more knives or planets or me kicking around dead people.

Whaaaaaat?
Seemed to be a pretty one-sided affair but I can't help feeling that AT's character's lack of exploit-ability made for a tough match.

The Soul Stone was an interesting character as well"]

I would like to take this moment to point out, both to the judges and to my opponent, that this unexploitable character of mine was entirely composed of one giant glowing red weak spot.

I will now laugh myself into a coma.

Yeah, but for a battle where the whole point is doing visceral, gorey damage to an opponent, a rock just isn't nearly as easily exploitable as a living, breathing being (or even a robot). He did do a good job showing damage to the stone's Golem form, but it's a little harder to be extremely creative in damaging a "glowing red weak spot" (though not impossible, as it all boils down to the attack itself and not the damage it does in this case). If he had done that creatively, he would have won.

So there. Laugh at that. :p

Anyway, two more battles to go.
