Open Challenge in the Court of Shifting Madness
This is an open challenge to pretty much anyone (But preferably not Metal Man, because I just finished fighting with him).
--WITH A TWIST--
This is going to be a battle with a changing battlefield. Yes, a changing battlefield. The idea is, it starts out with one, but either writer can change it during the course of the match. THe battlefield can only change once every two turns, and it can't change into anything that would either kill or seriously harm the other player.
It will start out with:
The Court of Shifting Madness
An empty Colosseum in the twilight, with walls of marble and gargoyles at 8-foot intervals on the walls. The gargoyles have very different expressions on each one of them; but all mocking. fitting how much the court changes-as it changes very often, becoming a different landscape every few minutes. However, the gargoyles somehow always remain.
My character shall be Ven, around the second to last bio in that post.
<<<<<<<>>>>>>>
Ven entered the arena without the slightest bit of trepidation. The gargoyles mocked him, and he mocked them back. He had long ago forgotten how to feel fear. So he did not have fear when he heard a challenger coming. He merely prepared for it, getting his scythe and pitchfork at the ready.

I'll fight you Vapor. I'll use Nightshade.
Nightshade slowly entered the arena, looking around as he came in. He noticed a row of gargoyles, all of which had grotesque expressions on their faces as they shouted obscenity-laced insults at him, which he simply ignored. He had more important things to do than get into an insult match with a bunch of stone carvings.
Nightshade looked at his opponent with an icy glare that seemed to stare into people's souls. His opponent was rather odd-looking, as he looked like a cross between a snake, an alien, and an elf.
"OK, Vern." The trench-coated warrior growled. "Let's do this!" Nightshade took out his crowbar and prepared it for battle.

OoC: (important)Um...I'm not using Vapor. I'm using Ven, the scarecrow guy near the end of that post.
His icy glare did not affect Ven, for he had no soul to stare into. His flaming eyes stared right back and melted the icy gaze.
"My name is Ven. Not Vern. Ven. Get it straight." He put away the pitchfork and took out his crowgun, and said, "My crowbar's better than yours."
Nightshade merely disregarded this and ran towards him, with the crowbar in smacking position. Ven simply flipped his around and started shooting at Nightshade.
"Aaaagh!...What-" Nightshade said as he was rather surprised at being shot with a crowbar. He soon stopped being surprised, but had got a bullet or two in his arm. He ran at Ven fast as he could, but Ven ran faster- 70 miles per hour faster. Nightshade was once again surprised, and Ven slashed him in the arm with the scythe as he went by, leving a large gash. He was now on the other side of the court.

Nightshade grabbed his arm in pain as he glared at his opponent. "I couldn't care less what your name is, you're still going down." Nightshade said with a sneer as he teleported in front of Ven and slammed his crowbar into the scarecrow creature's face. Nightshade's crowbar made a smal tear in Ven's face as a couple of dull-white asbestos came out.
Nightshade then reached into his trench coat and pulled out a small dagger. The trench-coated warrior grinned slightly as he repeatedly stabbed Ven in the chest, making another small tear in the scarecrow's body. Ven winced in pain as more little asbestos came out of his chest. Nightshade put his dagger back into his coat and prepared for his opponent's next move.

OoC: Yes, thank you very much.
******
After stumbling back from the pain, Ven glared at Nightshade.
"Only a fool waits for the next move," he whispered demonically.
Before Nightshade could react, the landscape suddenly changed-He knew this would happen in this place. The battlers were now in a clearing in a dense tropical forest.
Now Ven made his move-without moving. He simply held up his scythe, and it began to glow. The trees began to sway, Nightshade thought. No- What?!?! they were in fact moving, and moving towards him. The trees moved around him, and wrapped around him with their mighty trunks. He was immobile as Ven ran up and began hitting him in the head with the crowbar. He was able to concentrate just enough to teleport out of the trees, but Ven was still fast- fast enough to slash him in the leg with the scythe.
Stumbling back again, Nightshade was now extremely angry, quite bruised in the head, and couldn't move his left leg very much.
"Arrgggh...You'll..." was all that Nightshade cared to say as he blasted his lasers at Ven. they hit him in the chest, leaving two very neat holes, and making Ven stumble back. Nightshade blasted again, but this time Ven jumped
straight up- about 20 feet into the air. Nightshade looked up, but by then Ven was about 6 feet away from Nightshade- with the scythe's blade pointed down, and aimed for his head.

Just as it seemed Nightshade was going to die, at the last possible second, Nightshade blocked the scythe with his crowbar. "Too slow, buddy." Nightshade smirked as he delivered a lightning-fast kick to Ven's chest, sending the scarecrow flying until he slammed into one of the moving trees. The tree let out a growl as it slammed its mighty branches onto Ven's body, leaving the scarecrow badly injured.
The barely concious Ven got up, took out his pitchfork, and ran towards Nightshade, but the trench-coated warrior was ready. As Ven lunged his pitchfork forward, Nightshade dodged it, grabbed the pitchfork, and shoved it forward, sending the handle part through Ven's stomach. The scarecrow's face contorted into an expression of pain as he collapsed on the ground, the pitchfork's handle still through his stomach.

He removed the pitchfork almost too easily.
"weellll hot DAMN this is a bit tricky. You're a crazy little bastard. And you don't really get how the trees work, do you? no matter." the scarecrow said with more ease than he probably should have as he got up.
The scythe glowed again. Nightshade watched the trees, but they did not move. He should have noticed the patch of pricker bushes behind him rushing up to grab him by the legs.
The bushes' branches (I don't really know what else to call them) were wrapped around his feet, and they were heading for the rest of his body. They wrapped around his torso and his arms and nearly got to his face before he broke free with no effort. He was, however, hurt by the thorns, and was now bleeding in most parts of his body.
Before anything else could happen, Ven sped past Nightshade, while in the process leaving a giant gash in his left arm with the pitchfork, essentially disabling it.
Turning around, Nightshade saw Ven in a tree, yelling "WHO'S TOO SLOW NOOOOOW, BIATCH!? MWAHAHAHAHAHH"
