...That's the end of the box. I guess I'll just have to wait for your attack...

Raewyn grunted as his stomach split open, his guts nearly tumbling out. On his knees with one hand clutching his open stomach, he squinted against the rapid loss of blood and looked up to Saiku. He simply stood patiently, awaiting Raewyn's reaction.

Raewyn stood up slowly, but the pain of it drove him back down onto his knees. His hand went slightly aglow with white light, and Saiku realized he was healing himself. No, he wasn't healing himself - he was merely stitching up his skin. Then on second inspection, Saiku realized that he wasn't healing his skin together - he was melting it together. The sound of burning skin wafted into to the air as Raewyn burnt his skin back into place, wincing from the pain.

"Never was... a good healer..." Raewyn grunted, standing up a bit crookedly. His grip faltered slightly on the katana, and he split his stance, taking a loose defensive stance. Saiku yelled and converged on him, but Raewyn kept at least one foot always firmly planted and spun around Saiku when he attacked, only using his Katana when he needed to. Then Saiku came straight down on him with his weapon, and Raewyn reacted sharply to block, then suddenly shouted and bent down, and Saiku struck, sensing victory.

It took him three whole seconds to realize that his left leg had five deep gashes in it, that he was lying fifteen feet back from where he thought he had struck Raewyn, and that he also had a shallow cut on his chest. Raewyn staggered over to Saiku's fallen form, bleeding profusely from his leg.

He offered Saiku a shaking hand.

"I say... I'm gonna die from blood loss and pain shock... and you're gonna die... from blood loss and immobility... so how's about we both... get healed, and maybe... meet again?"

It's my first battle, I see it fair that I lose, seeing as I didn't know how battles work and scored nary a vital hit on you until the end. I mainly didn't have time for the battle any more, though, end of year's coming up soon for me, so I got huge papers to write...
