I assure you, hours and hours of work (on every day of the holidays except Christmas Day itself) have eaten my soul. MY SOUL ;___;
Onwards to the judging! Hoorah. No excessive jabbering from me this time, no one wants to wait any longer.

Alex vs. Repster
Alex: You started very well, giving us nice imagery of your character and smoothly running into an opening attack. You’ve got a good imagination and your writing flows even though there were some paragraphs that I noted a bit of fragmentation, but writing more and more will smooth things like that out. I recall when you began battling, and you’ve improved so much since then. Keep going, well done!
7.2/10
Repster: Rep, you outdid yourself. Taking into account your use of evil spellcheckers (with their false “intelligence”) and having English as a second language, you have a wonderful grasp on action, personality and humour. Aidan’s form of insanity is uniquely his and you give us a lot of opportunity to connect, or at least understand him. Your posts end solidly and the general style you possess makes reading a pleasure. Thank you and congratulations. Quack =D

Vapor vs. T3hDarkness
Before I get to individual judgements, I just want to make a note that this newer style of battling, where you just don’t introduce your character but expect your opponent to wander off and read a bio is weird. Feels like something’s missing when there’s no description for things because, oh, the bio explains it already. *shrug*
Vapor: There seem to be a few instances where I became a bit confused by what you were meant to be doing. Don’t rush through your posts, take a moment to make sure everything flows and makes sense; that you haven’t written in random actions in the middle of writing about something else. You did well to attack an “untouchable” enemy in creative and fair ways.
6.0/10
T3hDarkness: I enjoyed the mood set by your opening post, though you didn’t include anything about setting a guard/seal prior to it being tripped. Make sure all the actions in your posts have a beginning. You have some really interesting ideas, as shown by your wire gauntlets, and by continuing to write, you will find a lot of improvement.
6.8/10
~~~~~~~~
Galefore vs. Inferno Dragon
Galefore: *laughs* People should go out of their way to get your blood boiling, if your final post is anything to go by. It really feels like you started out writing out half-hearted, there were various points were I was just waiting for more detail. Comparing the third post to the first two, it’s almost as if you had written the same way then taken out words, sentences and whole paragraphs, leaving me with a feeling of broken thoughts and missing pieces. All the same, your character fairly held his own, even confronted with an opponent literally on “home ground”.
7.4/10
Inferno: Damage dealt by your opponent is a big part of battling. Whether or not their weapon melts or you dislike the way your character has been portrayed, or even if you’re a demigod in your own throne room, if you’ve been attacked, make a special note to write in some damage. Are you hurt? Bleeding? Are there great lumps of skin and scale flapping in the wind? We all want to see some gore oozing from your wounds! That aside, your character has a lot of emotion and a lot of interesting back-story to account for his behaviour.
6.4/10
~~~~~~~~
Malik vs. Selene Starblade
Malik: Too bad you only got the one post in this round, it really didn’t give a lot to judge on (not that it’s totally necessary, anyway). You have a nice style, very flowing. It’s great to see character description in your introduction.

Alex – 9.0 + 8.7 + 7.2 = 24.9 out of 30
Repster – 10.0 + 8.9 + 8.0 = 26.9 out of 30

Vapor – 7.9 + 8.1 + 6.0 = 22.0 out of 30
T3hDarkness – 8.0 + 8.4 + 6.8 = 23.2 out of 30
T3hDarkness advances!
Galefore – 8.0 + 8.7 + 7.4 = 24.1 out of 30
Inferno Dragon – 6.0 + 7.2 + 6.4 (-3 points) = 16.6 out of 30
Galefore advances!
Malik – 10 + 6.1 + 6.5 = 22.6 out of 30
Selene Starblade - Disqualified
Malik advances!
Congratulations to all competitors and especially the winners of this round. I look forward to some great quality battles next round! As a very quick final note, watch how you regenerate/heal/stem blood flow. I won’t make an issue over any of it this time, but it is a rule of the tournament not to regenerate. Thank you, all, and see you again soon

Alright, we will begin the next round soon. Now I can get my creative juices flowing... And, since this is the semis, the matchups are obviously:
ALPHA FINALS
Repster vs. Galefore
BETA FINALS
T3hDarkness vs. Malik
So... We will begin as soon as I've redone the rule sheet for the next round. Also, I have three posts that I have been procrastinating that need my immediate attention. I'll likely have those three posts and the next round up tomorrow, if not just the next round.
