Shadow Issues a Challange...

#1

Shadow: ahh, it's been a while since my cursed blade Gankoryu and I have fought someone worth our time. so I am issuing a challenge to anyone who can get here first!

rules are the standard gunjin rules, no cheapness, no one hit KOs, just one-on-one against the first to reply.

Shadow: the battlefield will be the top floor of My Uncle Tiamat's Tower, I shall wait for my opponenton my Uncle's throan.

Shadow takes a wine glass and fills it with a crimson liquid one could only assume to be blood. Shadow took a seat on the azure and gold throan and swirled the glass with one hand while resting his head on his other hand. his pitch black skin glistened in the toarch light of the room. the wind gently blew in from the grand viewing window opposite the throan and gently caressed Shadow's spiky midnight blue hair. His crimson eyes gazed into the distance to watch for his opponent.
beware the power of Bahamut\'s eldest son.

OoC: I'll take you up on your challenge, Inferno, I always enjoyed fighting you. Let me post my entrance now that I have claimed the challenge.

The grand palace room seemed unusually quiet, although it was obvious Shadow did not take up much notice, or if he did, he just didn't care, of any of the thickening quiet that laid upon him. A lesser warrior might crumble, feeling the silence putting pressure on his heart, cutting their breath short and their eyes to dart curiously for the storm that was so infamous for following the dreaded calm, but no, not Shadow.

Shadow had a front row seat, in fact, as the window was the only proper protal of entry allotted to the winged entity that settled upon the edge, as a bird might its perch. Ivory wings, to white their seemed to only minorly shade themselves even in the darkness of the dimly lit throne room, the rest of his figure shrouded in pure ebony as the contrast of his dark armor and dark room to the light outside nearly made him a shadow. Besides the wings, however, there was slight alteration to this being only a mere shadow, those eyes, bright, nearly glowing unnaturally blood red, staring up slowly and delicately, taking in the surroundings before resting firmly upon the black scaled beast, standing up from his landing position and allowing the light to catch him better, waves of blond hair flowing from the wind behind him.

Seraph smirked, his blood-jewel eyes glistening.

Shadow: hmm... welcome to my home Seraph.

Shadow drinks down the blood in the glass and tosses it aside, causing it to shatter on the stone floor. his cursed sword pulses with power as he stands up.

Shadow: hm. I'm sorry to say this but Gankoryu wishes for us to battle, and this time Inferno can't help you win. Tiamat is dead so we don't have to worry about his interference and his generals serve me now, therefore that makes this tower mine. Since this is my home we play by my rules.

Shadow draws Gankoryu from it's sheath revealing the onyx katana blade to Seraph.

Shadow: now I know you are half dark and half light but I have develloped attacks that counteract both halves of you, such as this!

Gankoryu glowed with dark power and Shadow charged forward and passed seraph only to stab him in the back with his sword. Shadow smirked as pulses of energy course through Seraph's body locking off certain energy output centers of his body. Shadow quickly withdrew Gankoryu from seraph's back and was about to leap back to the throan when he was punched in the face and staggered into the wall. Shadow glared at Seraph before giving a smirk.

Shadow: heh, I blocked off your access to your light powers through Gankoryu's cursed ability. now you can only tap into your dark side which has no hope of defeating one bourn of darkness! Unless you have some way to lift that curse on you then you have no choice to fight me with your dark half!
beware the power of Bahamut\'s eldest son.
