A story topic. You can use up to two of your characters for this. we'll be exploring an abandoned laboratory, left over by a deranged scientist who was a biologist, chemist, and physiologist all in one. He was a bit like Dr. Frankenstein/ Dr. Moreau, creating strange, bizarre creatures, that he set loose in the lab as guards and soldiers. He was going to overthrow the goverment with them, but his creatures rebelled. They still stalk the huge underground lab complex, awaiting all visistors.
I'll use Nick and Vapor.

Vapor and Nick walked into the complex through the huge gaping door.
They walked past the test tubes and stasis chambers, past the chemicals and microscopes, looking at them with curiosity.
Suddenly, a deranged beast, part wolf, part crocodile, part machinegun, leapt out at them, full of bloodlust.
Nick reacted quickly. He sent a beam of light at the creature, blinding it, then another beam of intensely heated light, which caught its fur aflame. Vapor then reacted, casting a small spell which threw a ball of glowing green energy at it, which made it explode flamelessly.
"We'll probably see some more of those," Vapor remarked to Nick. We should... Oooh, sweet, a cyclotron...." Vapor then activated he cyclotron (Atom smasher).
"What about them other thingies?" Nick said, juggling a rubber duck and a beaker full of acid
"I said we should-" Vapor was interrupted by a tall cyborg with some goo all over it jog out of nowhere and yell a battle cry at them.
Vapor pressed the release button on the cyclotron, which shot the ball bearing he had put in there at the cyborg at close to the speed of light, which put a hole through it's mechanized heart, stopping it right there.
"I said we should watch out for them... let's go on." Vapor completed his sentence, moving into the next room, as Nick poured a very volatile chemical on the floor, which exploded.

In case you skipped the first part, go and read it. When you post here, try doing at least two paragraphs. monsters will come out at you, and you'll have to defend yourself. This place is mazelike, with a great treasure at the center. Now Come on and post!!!!

OoC: OK, I'll join, it sounds fun.
I'll use Leak and Chemical Romance
Leak walked in the door, and looked around he saw a man with a rubber duck. He could not resist so he burst out laughing. He normally wouldn't just burst out in laughter, but he had, had a past with things like this before. As soon as he stopped laughing, Nick and Vapor were staring at him. He then asked " Who are you" "And where the heck am I, I seemed to have gotten lost out in those woods."
But before he could get an answer a body flew through the black mysteries window. It was Chemical (OoC: I'll call him Chemical). He jumped up as fast as he could and a strange mechanical animal mix thing had jumped upon him. Leak charged it with his arm, and stabbed the Mechanical thing knocking it off Chemical.
Chemical arose, and asked the same question Leak had asked. "Who are you". There was no reply for a short pause.
Every one looked at each other in the awkward paused as questions were left unanswered.
Leak soon realized that something was going on so he walked out the closest door and just walked away. Chemical, not knowing what to do stayed back, and waited for answers.

"I'm Nick, the snakeydude is Vapor," Nick said. "We're in a big lab, with some sort of treasure at the center. I don't know what it is, but I'm sure it glows, so I'm in."
Vapor was still just staring. Not at Chemical. But at a stasis tube behind him.
The glass on the tube was breaking. A red, 16-eyed beast was awakening inside.
"Look behind you," Vapor said to Chemical, and then turned himself to mist.
Chemical did what Vapor said. the bast was already reaching a claw out of the glass. Chemical took out his Bastard Sword and hit the claw with it. The creature recoiled, and then burst out of the glass.
Nick threw the rubber duck at the creature. The duck exploded in the eyes of the creature, blinding it and making it angry. Chemical then used this oppurtunity to stab it with the sword, killing it.
"..OK. Let's follow the other dude. What's your name, stranger?"
"Chemical Romance," Chemical responded.
"Hokay. Let's go." Nick then spun in the air into the room that Leak went into. Vapor solidified and followed.

When they got there, Leak was fighting a 9-foot tall gorilla with 800 ears. His arm and sword were doing nothing to the beast, and it seemed to be fireproof.
Vapor fused some gases above the Gorilla's head, forming Hydrochloric acid, which fell onto the Gorilla. It was also apparently acidproof.
Nick simply walked out the door into the next room.
The gorilla was now charging at them, and Leak used some weather magic to create a windstorm, delaying it. Vapor then flew to the Gorilla's neck, and wrapped himself around it. The advantage to being a snakeything.
The gorilla tried to rip Vapor off, but Vapor cast a spell that blasted its arms with a blue liquid, sticking them together. by the time the arms were free, the gorilla had suffocated.
"........" Everyone said.

Leak just stood there stunned at what he had seen, he had never seen anything like it before. "What the..." He could not finish his sentence, because the giant ape, twitched and shook the entire building.
Chemical, had just stood there, and there was another awkward pause. "that's a lot of ear wax" he said, " I don't know why, but this weird scientist guy had threw me in here, through that window, yout of here is going to be easy."

Leak leaned against the while, wondering what could have thrown Chemical thrown some one that far, and high up, to get him threw a window, and who could forget something like that. It's not exactly something that happens every day.
Chemical soon wondered the same. " A treasure ay?" he said, in a tone of voice in which you can tell he is interested.
Leak realized what he was going for and said " don't get your hopes up, Chemical, You just saw what happened to us all, that thing.... It isn't alone. We would have to go through more than that, right now my main priority is finding out what is going on, then get out of here, I don't want to die now, now that my quest isn't finished yet. I would advise you to do the same, although, I don't think getting out will be easy though."
Chemical realized he was right, " Are you guys really going to go for it, he asked, It seems kind of hard, don't you think"
" no, imagine what it could be, it could be a strange new power source, something, unknown, something only we would have."
Chemical though about it for a few seconds as every one looked around, the only one who wasn't wandering around was Leak, Leak was just standing against a wall. He was thinking of what had just happened.
" That's a big ape, what could be bigger than that" Chemical said after thinking about it for a short while.

"...Hey, looky this," Vapor said, pointing to a small computer screen. "It says, 'Alchemy is reborn! Fire uncontolled! Fusing death and death and death again together to slay them all!!'....It's apparently an alchemical, fusion-related weapon."
Chemical was going to say something, but he was interrupted by a loud singing coming from the ceiling. Nick crashed through the ceiling. Explainig nothing, he dashed into another room, and a few moments later crashed out of the floor.
"Frickin' sweet. Teleportation is awesome." He said.
Vapor, confuzzled, walked into the room that was apparently a teleportation chamber, and soon crashed through a block of thin air.
"A thingymabobble in there said that the teleporter can take you anywhere within a mile of it. The complex is 5 miles wide. We could significantly cut our journey."
OoC: I await your characters' decision on whether or not to find the treasure or not. BTW, more people can still join.

As En and Blur walked in, Vapor said to En, "..Whoa. Sweet. A Stick figure. And.... a mildly familiar hedgehog...." Vapor lost himself in thoght for a moment, trying to remember who Blur was. While this happened, the others fought a glowing, robotic, giant deer antler.
"Eh well." he said." And I don't think there's a hydra here, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was. Maybe gaurding the alchemy-fire-fusionwhatever treasure at the center."
Then, an X-naut and a pink puffball walked in. They just stood there, not talking, but their existance acknowledged their joining in this quest.

The explorers are about to move on, but a giant glowing orb suddenly crashes throught the ceiling, seemingly from nowhere. For a while, no one moved. The orb then expanded a bit. The warriors readied their weapons.... but the orb merely sank into the floor as if it was liquid through a sieve.
"......Bizzare." Vapor commented.
Suddenly, a cystal-like, troll-like being came out of a doorway, ready to attack them. It took a deep breath.... and spewed out metal spikes. The warriors jumoed out of the way, but it proved unnecessary,for the pink puffball then inhaled the spikes in a single enormous breath, and transformed into a metallic, spiky, yet still somewhat spherical creaure. It tackled the crystal troll, and a few shards came off. The troll then tried to crush Star Kirby, but suddenly, out of the spot where the orb had sank into the floor, a bright light erupted and wen straight towards the crystal beast. It went into the beast's body, seemingly swelling it with energy from the inside. Leak then realized what was going to happen.
'EVERYONE TAKE COVER! IT'S GONNA EXPLODE!!" Leak dashed behind a computer terminal, and En followed. Blur and X-guy ran into another room. Vapor turned to fog. Nick walked up the wall and into the ceiling. Chemical went behind an empty stasis tube. Star Kirby braced his metallic body for impact.
Sure enough, the crystal monster exploded. Shards flew everyhwere, but noone was harmed. After a little bit of shock, they came out. Suddenly, more light came out from where the orb sank, and it formed... into a ... claw.
