I am making a prototype deck that i would like to test on someone, if I could, a basic YGO duel, tournament rules, most updated ban/restricted card lists applies. 8000 Life Points, as per the usual. Anyone up for it?

You need a real deck, or at least a rondom prototype deck (the cards all pre-chosen and written down in a way that you can draw them completely randomly.) I am using the latter, seeing how this deck functions before I sink any money into the couple cards I am missing.
Call the coin, heads or tails, winner gets to pick whether they go first or second.

Well for one thing, your deck must follow the rules of Game Play - Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Upper Deck Entertainment as in you can not have any of the banned cards in your deck, only 1 of the restricted, and only 2 of the limited.
Other then that, it should be pretty basic.
Draw 5 cards.
Draw card.
Summon Prickle Fairy (200/2000/PLANT/EFFECT/Your opponent cannot attack Insect-Type monsters unless he/she destroys this card first. The Battle Position of a monster that battles with this card is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step.) in face-up Attack Position.
Place 2 cards face down in Magic/Trap zone.
End Turn.

Yep, you can sacrifice, as long as you need to, such as for summong a stronger monster, or by the effect of a card.
Draw card.
Flip summon Parasite Paracide. (500/300/INSECT/EFFECT/FLIP: Put this card face-up in your opponent's Deck and shuffle it. When your opponent draws this card, it is Special Summoned on your opponent's side of the field in face-up Defense Position and inflicts 1000 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. Then all face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field become Insect-Type as long as this card remains face-up on the field.)
Parasite Paracide goes into your deck (just pick a random card) and you must shuffle your deck. Furthermore, when you draw Parasite Paracide you must tell me, cause it must be immediately summoned to the field.
Summon Insect Knight (1900/1500/INSECT) in face-up attack position.
Set one card on the Magic/Trap zone.
Attack Insect Soldiers of the Sky with Insect Knight. (1900 vs 1000, and Insect Knight is a EARTH type, not WIND)
End Turn.
Draw card.

I switched Prickle Fairy to defense mode, that's 400 vs 2000 defense, and you'd lose 1600 life points. However, Injection Fairy Lily does have that special effect, so I will activate my trap: DNA Surgery (When you activate this card, declare 1 Type of monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all face-up monsters become the Type you declared.)
I choose Insect.
Now Prickle Fairy, Winged Kuriboh, and Fairy Injection Lily are all insects. And, as for Prickle Fairy's effect, you cannot attack any of my insect cards until Prickle Fairy is destroyed, which now cannot be done in battle.
Draw card.
I sacrifice two of my face-down Magic/Trap cards to Special Summon Anteatereatingant (2000/500/INSECT/EFFECT/This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 2 Spell or Trap Cards on your side of the field to the Graveyard. This card can destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field, but it cannot attack this turn if you activate this effect.)
The two cards I sacrificed were Insect Barrier and Blast with Chain. Blast with Chain's effect activates upon being destroyed.
Blast with Chain (TRAP/After activation, this card is treated as an Equip Magic Card. Select 1 monster you control and equip it with this card to increase the ATK of the selected monster by 500 points. When this card is destroyed by the effect of another card, select 1 card on the field and destroy it.)
I choose to destroy Injection Fairy Lily.
I use Anteatereatingant's special effect to destroy the last Magic/Trap card you just laid down on the field, sacrificing its ability to attack.
I attack Winged Kuriboh with Insect Knight, although I know it won't do any damage because of Winged Kuriboh's effect upon being destoryed.
LP: Mine: 8000 Yours: 7100
End Turn.
Cards on my side of the field: DEF Prickle Fairy (2000), ATK Insect Knight (1900), ATK Anteatereatingant (2000), DNA Surgery (Active/Insect)
