I'm calling out IRHP

OoC I know I promised that I'd set this topic up a while ago but I finaly desided to make it happen.
If you need information on who I'm using I recently added a post to the Book.

Sundown has come to a lonely and decrepit road. Though you couldn't tell because of the oppressive and freezing rain that fell. The wheather seemed to reflect the mood of the man who travled the barren road. His destination was the rotting and crumbling military outpost at its end, as unkept as the foraken place was it could provide some shelter for the night. It also provided the slim chance for Lawrence Williams to refill his dwindiling supply of ammo as well.

Will Came to a stop on the road about two dozen yards away from his objective he thought he saw someone up ahead. Not willing to let his mind play tricks on him he sheilded his eyes from the downpour and focused carefully upon the door again, he was sure of it now someone else was here and knowing his luck whoever it was wouldn't be friendly. sighing petulently he reached into his messenger bag and drew out a sphere the size of a tennis ball made of marbel and a sling he then loaded it into the pouch of the sling. He began to build up momentom for the projectile quickly and quitely with an ease that was beyond second nature to him. Though he didn't fire he would let the other make the first move besides he could hardly make out the rough shape of the other himself and wasm't sure if his foe hadn't already prepaired himself for combat as well.

Magus was trying to escape the rain. He was leaning against a crumbling wall and watching the path. He noticed a man holding something. A weapon no doubt. He gave himself an evil grin and dashed into the rain and towards his victim.

He stopped abruptly and opened a Blackhole before his opponent.

OoC: I hope you don't mind my choice of character. I kinda pick at random. =)

Will was fast enough to fire his shot at magus before the blackhole opened before him. though he was too late to prevent the spell from being cast. Becaus of the downpouring rain and thick cloud cover he wasn't even sure if the white stone hit it's mark. Thus he like so many others before him was treated to the body crushing and mand shattering terror that was a blackhole spell. As he lay on the ground he could just barely see his spent ammo on the ground near his oponet's feet.

After a few moments of horrible pain the spell ended and will climbed to his feet shakely. Then with incredible speed he dashed at magus who seemed rather confused that his spell hadn't finished him off. Taking advantege of this he lept into the air jaming his left knee into Magus stumach and his right elbow crashed down upon the wizard's head cuasing Magus to stumble backword a bit.

Using the distraction he grabbed the marble shot off the ground and retreated back to take cover behind one of the few dead trees in the area. Panting deeply both from his quick counter attack and from the rather disturbing affects of magu's spell he slowly reloaded his sling and started to swing it again building up momentem for another shot.

Magus almost fell on his ass as he coughed up a couple handfulls of blood, but steadied himself with his scythe.

Blood poured down his head and into his eyes, blurring his vision. He dashed again towards his powerful enemy behind the dead tree. He sliced it in half to scare back Will. He immediately cast his Dark Bomb on Will but the falling tree blocked his view, along with his own blood. He fired off target missing barely.

[PK FIRE!]

OoC i don't mind that you picked him I just wanted a good fight, Hmm I just thought of something i forgot to put in my profile for Will I'll add it after this post. As I never set a limit on healing use your own best judgment there I don't think that Magus is the type to go traviling without any restoritive items.

Will only manged to get inches away from the tree befor it fell shaking the ground and was releaved that somehow his foe's spell had missed. Thinking quickly Will used his still loaded sling as a very crude immitation of a flail to hit Magus in the chest winding him for a moment. Next he broke of a large sturdy brach from the fallen tree to use as an improvised stalf.

The slight delay in movement caused by putting away his sling and breaking the branch cost him dearly though. His punishment for not moving quickly enough was to take a rather powerfull fire spell to his back. Though the flames only burned for a short span of time because of the heavy rain he was still afflicted with large painfull second degree burns that due to thier locations along his back would limit his already slowed movments.

Slowly climbing to his feet stalf clutched tightly in hand Will squinted through the darkness at his pale skinned openet trying to guess his next move.

OoC: I will self limit to one moderate healing at a cost of some sort.

Magus rubbed his chest. It hurt and his fire attack was ineffective in this weather. He figured he'd just wait to use more spells later. He directed his scythe downward and ran toward his foe this way. Will kicked Magus in the teeth and avoided the sweeping scythe to his feet. When Will landed, Magus, after spitting out a rather sharp tooth, had took the blow and left his scythe between his foe's legs.

Will realized it. Just a bit too late and was raked through the crotch with the DoomSickle. Luckily, Will rolled to the side with a little jump but the majority of the blow landed well.

OoC: Also, I hope you don't mind that last attack. =P

Will was hunched over in pain momentarrily from that last attack. As he straitned himself back uout he could tell that while nothing importanet had broken he had manged to bruse the upper part of his right femor. locking eyes with magus and hissing in pain Will spoke. " That, has to be one of the more unconventinal attacks I've run acrosse in a while."

After saying that he quickly struck out with his improvised stalf. Magus who wasn't as limited by his injuries as will was quick to block the attack with his trusted weapon. Though he was soon treated to a new kind of pain as Will used his stalf attack as a distraction to lash out with his own crippling attack, the target in question was the acillies tendon of the mages left foot. He preformed a rather hastily improvised heel kick to the aformentioned area.

After Will stuck the muscle tendon has vercily as he could with his heel Magus was sent crumpling to the ground wraithing in pain. While the tendon wasn't dameged irrpirbly it was still a very sesitive spot on the body. Because it was curently so agitated by the harsh attack climbing to his feet let alone walking or runing would be impeeded greatly.

As Magus was struggling with his new handycap Will had used the oppertunity to first toss Magus' dropped weapon a good distence away from the mage and second to catch his own breath. While he may have limited his foe's mobility a bit and temporarly removed his weapon he knew better then to let his defences slacken around the mage by now.

OoC Not a problem I use the BF for fun and as a way to get the creative juices flowing. Also thanks for the self imposed limitation. Aslo a tip from one BFer to another read up on anatomy it'll help make BF fight so much more intresting.

Magus was unarmed and knew Will would expect a spell. He played on this knowledge and obviously targeted his foe. His casting stance made Will backflip as far away as possible.

Magus grinned and leaped with his good leg, pouncing on his weapon. Will knew he made a mistake. Magus stood and stomped his bad leg causing mind numbing pain. He didn't flinch but smiled softly.

"Think before you act. You had no effect on me." Magus stood, waiting for his foe.

OoC: Anatomy eh? Good idea.

Will just smirked quitly to himself, then he once again slid his hand into his messenger bag drawing from it his still loaded sling. After a few seconds of swinging with his left hand the old fasioned weapon to build up momentom he let go of one of the straps opening the leather pouch at the end and freeing the projectile faster then Magus could doge. The large stone had struck the portion of the scythe that his right hand had been holding breaking his first and middle fingers at the upper jiont forcing the incapaitation of said hand.

While Magus could still weild his weapon with one hand it would be far more cumbersome and the additinal pain might make spellcasting more difficult. Seconds after magus realized this Will voiced his opion once more. " I'm not seeing the problem here, I'm used to fighting at long range anyway, I have a few granted less effective rounds on me. Adding to that I've limted your movment almost as much as you've done to me. Factore in that I've also limited the use of your right hand along with one of your spells being useless in this weather and I gather I have a fighting ch- Oh I just HAD to open my damn mouth!" Will cut himself off in mid gloat.

at first Magus was cunfused by this but after he heard will cuont down from four to one. once the final number had been said the storm intesnified greatly and oddly enough the storm itself lashed out at the tall man lighting crashing to the ground with unheard of regularity seemingly, chasing Will this oddity continued for half a minute before Will was struck with a rather large bolt of lighting.

Some five minutes after he was hit will forced himself to his knees his body spasiming horribly from the mostlikely fatel amount of electrisity that had been forced into it. Once he was capeible of doing so he let out a long and impressivly colurfull rant agenst of all things the grim reaper and the fountain of youth as he shakily tried and failed to reload his sling with a smaller round that looked to be made of wood.

Ooc Yeah I need to brush up again myself but there's alot to learn but when you've got it downpat it can make conflicts in the BF much more intresting.

Magus could pretend the pain in his leg didn't exist and that the odd events that just occured, didn't. He couldn't, however, pretend his fingers weren't snapped and twisted into curious shapes.

"My goodness, you're strong. My Black Hole didn't take you; it often doesn't work on anyone of your calibur, so i am not surprised...I will have to use my best attack."

Will was prepared for an attack of great strength. Magus was clever and Will was intelligent, but neither could read the other's mind. Magus pulled a tonic from, seemingly, nowhere.

"You keep announcing your moves and doing the opposite! This is the last time I even listen to you. Obviously you have no honor of any kind."

"I have every intention of keeping my word." A triangular seeming form of energy or space began froming on the center of Will and he knew he was in some trouble...

OoC Heh I was trying to make fun of those stragicy infodumps that tend to popup in shows like DBZ and Naruto but it didn't turn out right. Also it's been to lang scince I've play CT so i'll let you finish the attack I suspect to be Dark matter.

While Magus spent a few seconds preping his spell Will was able to use that time to break of the small twigs and branches from the larger one he had been using as a crutch after his breif encounter with lightning. Right after magus ended his little speech Will threw the impromtu spear hoping he could skewer his oponet through the chest. However as the horrible tainted energy of the dark spell began to focus on him all ratinal thought was lost. The thought of once more suffering through the twisted darkness and mind altering properties similar to those of the Blackhole spell caused panic to set in thus leaving the fate of his final despret attack unknown.

Will tried franticly to escape the forming energy but whatever this spell was it seemed to have been given enough time to 'Lock on.' to him for all intente and purpuses. after this realization had settled in he calmy stood in place and waited as the attack built up to it's inevitble and possibly mind shattering climax. Mere seconds before the full force of the attack would hit Will's mind cleared enough for him to speak. "...Its times like this when I really REALLY wish I could die." He deadpanned.

OoC: Haha, I like your character's attitude. He's kinda like Spider-Man, he's funny.

Magus' evil looking triangular magic attack spun around Will. It was seemingly outer space related, as it did its damage.

Magus was frustrated. Apparently Will was alive and, while hurt, he wasn't even down.

"Die!" Magus screamed it a few times, chasing and slashing at Will with his scythe. Will grabbed the weapon and delived a nose-smashing elbow to Magus' open face. Magus struggled for his weapon, kicking Will away.

Much to the shock of the rabid Magus Will simpaly didn't get back up off the ground after he'd been kicked away. After a closer inspection He could also see that while his foe was not dead he look far more exuasted then he had first thought, especily after the Dark matter spell had been cast.

Will lay on the ground gasping shakily for breath. His eyes were glazed over almost as if he wasn't conected to his own body at the moment. After an undertermind time he found his voice once more,"... Die he says, like its just that easy. Look, you've won this round kid. Heh, something tells me that... I could have avoided this whole mess if I hadn't assumed you'd start a fight. Ugh, Those spells of yours they mess with the mind and try to implode your chest cavity at the same time, tons of fun, anyhow great fighting ya kid now buzz off, I'll have to be immobile for a while to heal all of this... damn reaper." he would rasp and wheezed as he spoke his horribly as if something was cought in his airway.

Ooc Thank's for that compliment, as for his still developing atitude, well when you're as old as he is you tend to get bored easly though Will doesn't have that problem, then again he has more than enough problems as is. Thanks for the fight, Will needs alot of work. Hopefully the kind folks here at the BF will help me flesh him out.

Nice match. We had a couple practice matches before and I barely won one of 'em, so I knew you were pretty creative. I'm glad you challenged me, it was fun. Let's go again sometime.
