In some sort of order:
Sonic the Hedgehog: Guide the little Hedgehog through the stages, picking up rings and finding the Chaos Emerald!
It might not seem like much, but it was the first Sonic Game Gear game. Green Hill sounds pretty nice for the GG version. However, finding the Chaos Emeralds are somewhat strange, and makes bonus stages a bit useless. Oh, well. Out of 10: 7.7
Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Tails has been captured by Robotnik. He's being held ransom for the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic must go and collect the emeralds, rescue South Island!
It seems like an improvement off of 1. However, they still neglected the spin dash. Plus, some enemies don't look their best, espically Silver Sonic (WAY too easy). However, they did execute some game play right. I give it a 7.5 =/
Sonic Chaos: HERE WE GO! I have no reason to blame Sega for not letting Tails follow because it may of made it worse. Anyways, you play as Sonic or Tails. Getting Chaos Emeralds are tougher: Collect 100 rings, and you'll be transported to the bonus stage, where you'll collect rings for lives. Be careful: You need to hurry to get the Chaos Emerald.
This is a large improvement. First, Tails is playable. Second, they added spin dash to the two and gave Sonic the Super Peelout and Tails the flying move thingy. Better graphics. There's also cool items, like the Rocket Shoes. 8.5
Sonic: Triple Trouble: More trouble! Not only is Robotnik at his usual, Knuckles, fooled by Robotnik, is out to get Sonic and Tails! NOT ONLY THAT... in order to get the Chaos Emeralds, Sonic and Tails have to get past Nack the Weasel, an expert treasure hunter hated by all.
Wow, it uses most of the gameplay in Chaos, but adds new features as well as Knuckles and Nack. Getting Chaos Emeralds are EVEN HARDER. However, there's a Chaos Emerald box in each stage, but you need to have 50 rings at least. There's even more items, also! Tails' Sub is probably the greatest, heh. 9.0!
Sonic Spinball: For an attempt to emulate the Genesis, it didn't do too bad. It doesn't play as well, but hey, it was the first portable Sonic Spinball! Music is also different, and they even added Intro cards. 7.8
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine: This is my least favorite game...s. Both Mean Bean Machines just don't catch my eyes. Well, it seems nearly the same, making the other useless. 5.7 (Don't argue, agree!)
Sonic Drift: A Mario Kart rip off? Well, you play as Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Eggman in a race to get emeralds. Sound stupid? Play Drift 2, it's the same, but better. 6.2
Sonic Labrynth: Sonic, forced to wear Robotnik's Slow Down Sneakers, has lost the ability to run and jump! Use the Spin Dash to defeat enemys, grab the keys, and get out!
This is practically a mini-Sonic 3D Blast! Well... not really >> Anyways, you're timed and you have to defeat enemys and get keys, and Spin Dash is needed. Sonic can walk, but is really slow, for once! In regular stages, if he's hit with keys, he loses them, but even if he's hit without them, he merely loses time. (However, boss battles use rings.) 8.5
NOTICE: I haven't unlocked these games on DX, but I've played 'em all via emulator... What? I have DX! I think I can legally download them... besides, I deleted them... >.>
Sonic Blast: MY FAVORITE GG SONIC GAME! Actually, it ties with Tails Adventure, hush
You play as Sonic or Knuckes, and must stop Robotnik as usual... actually, if it's different (I doubt it), then I don't know, I have yet to complete it. However, it is awesome. Sonic has a double jump, while Knuckles has his classic gliding and wall climbing. If that's not enough, the graphics are practically 3-D! Well, not really, but it looks awesome. Too bad it's nearly impossable to get the emblems needed... >_>Sonic Drift 2: I admit I haven't played it enough. Anyways, this has more characters and courses. It even features Nack (!!! SegaSammy should release more games with Nack). No rating, though =/
Tails Sky Patrol: Very hard, you play as Tails (for once) and you have to stay in the air. Again, I don't know much, so no rating.
Tails Adventure: (I had to play this
) Great game! Play as everybody's favorite fox and go defeat some evil that apparently isn't Robotnik... I think. It plays differently from other Sonic games, though. First, Tails doesn't go real fast at all. He walks. Second, he uses items to attack. Third, he can fly, but it starts off really weak, but with things like Chaos Emeralds (Not required, for once??), he can get better and better. It's a real different game, and thus, gets a 9.0.Whew...
