I would have put down lots of Zeldas but I don't consider it an RPG.

I'll tell you my two favourite:
1. Chrono Trigger- Best video game story ever! Also just plain great (read up on it).

2. Final Fantasy- Why do I put this NES game above so many others? True the story is at times laughable (for the wrong reasons)... It's great because after playing it once, play it again with a different set of characters! You can have so much fun using different teams!

Chuckles a bit: The Zelda series are not actually RPG's at all (UNLESS you count every video game as an RPG). This goes into the definition of what is an RPG-
- The broad, true definition means just playing as someone else in a game. In that case practically every video game is an RPG, from Donkey Kong to Q-bert. The only few games that wouldn't count include Tetris.
- No gamer uses the above definition of an RPG. Instead they say that RPG's must be like their board game counterparts, numbers and statistics determine the power of a character and all its abilities.

The Zelda series is 'Adventure' not RPG... With the exception of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link! That game is Adventure AND RPG, as you get to build powers.

PS to Brandon....
Wow! LttP is the best of the Zelda series and you have not played it? You better get your act together! That game is SOLID.
