Dragonball Z: The Legacy of Goku

Well, almost everyone has probably heard of this game by now. For Gameboy advance and based of the dub, one question many likely wonder: Is it the best Dragonball Z game out? And my answer is: No. BUT, it is not a BAD game.
Graphics 8/10
The graphics seems pretty good to me for a gameboy advance game. The characters look pretty good, except for Krillin/Kuririn looking abit like Nappa...
Sound 8/10
I liked the sound well enough. Hearing Goku shout out "Kamehameha" and seeing said kamehameha hit Freiza was pretty cool, for some reason.
Story 6/10
Ok, let's see. First, Raditz doesn't tell you his name, but Krillin/Kuririn still knows it. Also, alot of things aren't like the show, with some sub quests. Goku likes to help people, but I don't see him taking time out of his busy schedule of trying to save his son to help a small boy get his toy boat, or picking flowers for a boy with a crush [accomplished by beating up a pteradactyl I might add].
Namek is also an odd spot, with you showing up with the place in ruins, and not knowing why.
Gameplay 7/10
Ok, here is where things get ugly. First, the controls are responsive and the reports of bad hit detection seem to be fixed. However, Goku at first, can be mowed down by wolves and dinosaurs.
Also, you fight ROBBERS after King Kai/Kaio's training and might have trouble. I'm also willing to bet you'd lose a straight up fight with Raditz for most of the game.
There are only three ki moves in the game:
Regular ki blast, Solar flare, which stuns and is taught to you by some old man in the woods [didn't he know that in Dragonball?!] and Kamehameha, taught to you by King Kai/Kaio, yes, Goku's first ki attack is the last one he learns here.
Also, when Goku finally goes Super Saiyan, the only real difference I noticed is him getting faster, Freiza is still ALOT stronger then you.
Overall: 7/10
I found it fun for the most part, but some non-dbzish details were very annoying, and bosses were either way too hard [they can all kill you in afew hits it seems] or way too easy [Solar flare, punch, punch run. Repeat until enemy is dead].
I recommend RENTING it. It's pretty short, so you may be able to beat it in a week.
