Let me just start off by saying, I simply do not enjoy 3-D games much. Rocket: Robot on Wheel, Super Mario 64, and Super Mario Sunshine were astounding, but every single other one just sort of got a concussion or 2 getting onto the system.
Back to the review. Toy Story 2 is a game starring Buzz Lightyear off to save Woody from Al. See, it's contrast. Woody was the star of the semi-fun prequel game, so Buzz is the star of this one! Those folks at Disney Interfactive are clever!
You know, it's suddenly occured to me that I should get to the actual gameplay, but what's to say? It's Super Mario 64 repackaged, without most of the cool stuff. It has added some stuff, there's a laser weapon, but it's weak. There's disk launcher, but you get to use it in 3 stages. There are turbo bots, but they also can be used only in some levels. Same with the shield, the hover boots, and this one other power-up that I forgot. They're not very fun.
So that's it then. There's nothing in this game worth looking at. Just a big romp through various levels that follow the movie (sort of...) and overuse collecting things. End of story.
Toy Story 2: 3/10
-A Genius (You know, it's more fun to review a bad game than a good game. Why? Who knows.)
