Pros:
Improved Graphics (not as good as have been seen on the Gameboy advance before this game (ref. Megaman battle network and Golden sun), but better than the super nintendo graphics. A little better.)
Breath of Fire on the go! (Fun for the road, but maybe not in home)
You can beat the last boss at level 27! (I LOVE Angi!!!)
Bleu's offense improved. (Yes it did believe it or not)
Cons:
The Gremlin is next to impossible to defeat. (What level do you need to be at? 99 Ryu, 99 Nina, and 99 Bo?)
You have to visit EVERY dragon shrine or the game's impossible. They're always hidden in some disputed corner of the map. It took 2 days to find the last one!
Gobi is useful underwater only, but not above water.
Game's too long. (It must have taken 4 months to beat it!)
General is very very very hard. (I HATE RECOVER!!!!)
Nina only gets her ability to fly at the end of the game.
All in all: This is a game to pass like 30 minutes of your time or when you're going on a 500 mile road trip. The good ending is really good. Gobi is pretty funny. "Oh, don't forget you still owe me money." The GBA version hasn't Improved much except for Bleu's offense and the Graphics. Another bad thing is that you don't get Ryu's dragon forms until after the Gremlin boss, and when you're fighting the gremlin boss is when you DESPERATLY need them. No wonder why most people who were e-mailing me asking for help on it said they gave up at that point. I think the sequal is better than this strangley bad GBA game....But I didn't play it. 4/10
